I sighed, I'm sure Jan will be so happy that I took care of her father.
She will certainly melt into my arms now, I'm all she has. I adjusted my morning wood.
Lightly wrapping on her door.
" Baby, he's gone. Come have breakfast. Jan? Jan?"
Silence.
Opening the door slowly, my heart dropped as January wasn't in her room.
Her bed was empty. All of her clothing was still in her bags. Even her phone and her purse were left behind. No note, nothing.
Then....I see something horrifying.
A pair of her silky pink underwear, torn in two lying on the floor.
A smear of blood on the bedding. A bloody knife laying just below the bed.
Signs of a struggle, some of her blankets missing.
" f**k Nooooo!" My heart was pounding out of my chest.
I called the hotel front desk and asked for security.
I needed to see who took my girl.
My mind wandered to Ronald Parsons. "Oh baby what have I done? I set a monster in your path. Please let her be OK."
I couldn't even call her dad, he obviously had no clue that she was missing. He would kill me.
I paced my room like a caged tiger, gripping a throw pillow in my hands until I ripped it in half, looking down at the white stuffing inside. "How could I be so stupid? I promised to protect her."
There was a knock on the door.
" Come in!" I yelled angrily.
" Sir? I'm Charlie Manky, security. You asked to see the video surveillance from last night?" The man was wearing a blue security uniform.
He pulled up the footage of last night on his cell phone.
I grabbed the phone and scrolled through the footage. There at about 2am a man all in black entered the hallway.
Then nothing, aparently he covered the cameras with tape.
" Are all the cameras effected?" I said anger rolling off of me in waves.
" I'm afraid so sir. Can I ask what it is you are looking for? Has something been taken, I'll call the authorities!" He told me with concern.
" No, don't call them. It's nothing. I thought I heard someone outside of my room last night, that is all." I dismissed the man.
How could I tell anyone what I suspected. f*****g Ronald Parsons, the asshole that I lobbied very hard to get released has now kidnapped my girl. " f**k!"
I couldn't even go to the police.
I did this to her.
My mind was reeling. I was feeling my gut churning at the thought of Parsons raping her once again.
" No!" I roared as I threw a lamp across the room. I was too shaken to even call my men.
Falling back onto her bed, her perfume wafted around me.
I covered my face with my arm and felt my eyes fill. I never cry, ever. I need to fix this.
I will find whomever took my girl and destroy them. I made the call to Camden.

Calvin Holmes POV
I left the hotel smiling. Now January and April were both safe from that prick.
He would never suspect that I had anything to do with January's disappearance.
I headed to the bank, I had to close my account and open up a new one in January's name.
I also transferred the ownership of the boat over to her. Now there would be no guilt, my hands were clean.
I did it all for my daughter. My phone rang.
" Cal, it's Manky. He didn't report January missing. He's not going to the cops, you were right about him."
The security guard that I had once employed as a deckhand on my boat has proven to be loyal.
Of course they all will be well compensated for helping me save my daughter.
But I know all of the people in this town and surrounding areas. We have a code. Don't f**k with the locals. They would have helped me for free.
" Now we send Parsons in to lock eyes with Adam and we'll be Killing two birds with stone."
I heard from a local bar tender that Parsons was out of prison and he was shooting his f*****g mouth off that he was owed restitution.
He claimed that January lied in court and that he was innocent. He was going to get her to pay for that, one way or another.
So, I may have made sure that someone provide him with the address to the hotel that January and Adam had been staying at. (Of course January wasn't there and in no danger.)
I may have ensured that the bar tender inform him that January's new fiance was loaded.
And I may have planted some evidence in January's room that will ensure that Adam wouldn't take too kindly to Parsons demanding money from him.
I smiled, rubbing my hands together in anticipation.
I made a call to my boat. They should be far out to sea by now.
" Yes cap? How the hell are ya?" my second in command, Charles Michaels greeted me cheerfully.
" Awe fair to middling. I was wondering if my precious cargo was still pissed, or if she wanted to speak to her dear ol dad yet?"
" Well, I would say that there is a powerful storm unleashed in the forward cabin.
Seems like two bolts of lightnen struck yer boat and maybe ya want to be avoidin the storm fer the time bein."
" So April is causing trouble then?" I knew it.
" Actually Cap it's the wee one that's buckin the pony, that one she were a mighty pissed seeing her sister aboard the Eastern May. Mighty pissed."
" Interesting, interesting. I see. Ok keep me updated and Charlie ol boy, I got you a nice bottle of rum waiting here in my parlor fer yer return. Thanks ol man."
I rubbed my hands together again.
One thing I know for sure, nothing brings people together like being trapped out at sea.
I smiled at my own cunning.
I pinched a bit of tobacco in my cheek and savored the soothing taste.
Now, I had a gut feeling that them two college boys were coming to town. Call it a father's intuition.
I made the long drive home to my wife.
I didn't expect them to be waiting for me at the house.
But, they were.

Thomas POV
" We need to talk Calvin." I stared down at the older man, towering over him actually.
But to my surprise, he stood firm. Not even flinching.
The old sea captain had balls of steal I'll give him that.
" I don't need to tell either of you s**t. Infact you both can go to hell and get the f**k out of my house." He growled out.
Eivan stood firm.
" No, here is how this is going to go. We are getting January back. We will take care of Adam, just tell us what you know.
I will make it worth your while, besides after you and your degenerate family f****d January over. You owe it to her to be happy. Thomas and I make her happy, so f*****g happy that she will always be smiling with us taking care of her."
Eivan looked fierce. His expression that of a man not to be f****d with. I've never seen this side of my coach.
His hair was cut short on the sides with the longer top hair slicked back in place impeccably.
The perfectly fitting designer suit he wore made him look every bit of wealth and power that a rich man of class would posses.
I was so proud to be his number two. He was like a panther poised to attack. It kind of gave me a hard on actually.
