Chapter Four

Beryl's Pov.
"You're an Omega, right? How are you this fierce?." Aiden asked in a tone that looked almost like he was complaining.
"I'm an Omega, yes. Is it weird for an Omega to be fierce? "I asked with a slight smirk at the edge of my lips.
"She's so fierce and the uniqueness of her name is enough to turn one on," Daniel mumbled but we both heard it and an abrupt pause came up.
Turn one on!!!! How did that come into what we were saying? Seriously, I'm confused.
Aiden on his angle glared at Hunter and then I saw why he was called the wolf assassin. That death glare!!!
"Well..... Just so you know, I'm not joining the pack maids." I said to lighten the atmosphere that was now stale because of Daniel's statement earlier.
"You don't get to decide that! But tell me one reason why you shouldn't be in the pack maids. Is that what omega's specializes in? Is that not what you do back at your pack?." Aiden asked with squinted eyes.
"Seriously! If all omega's here are pack maids, that's not how it is back in my pack." I answered, rolling my eyes.
"Whatever," Aiden said and winked at Daniel.
Both of them walked out leaving me in the dungeon.
If it were the normal me, I would have wailed and cried but seeing who the alpha of this pack was, I knew that pouring tears wouldn't give a solution.
He loved fierce and strong people so if I were to survive in this pack, fierceness and strength would be the order of the day.
But truthfully speaking, if I spend one more night inside of this creepy dungeon; I would be stripped of the fierceness and strength.
Just as I sat back on the hard and cold floor, the door to the dungeon opened revealing a pretty lady.
"Hi, Luna." She greeted me by doing a little half-bow in courtesy.
What's up with all these people?
"You can just call me Berly," I said and flashed her a smile
Were they not aware that he rejected me?
"It's disrespectful for me to call Luna by her name." She said with a tone filled with respect.
"That's only possible if I'm the actual Luna, your Alpha rejected me. So you see, I'm just an ordinary wolf-like all of you." I enunciated weakly.
"Oh, we don't know that. The Alpha himself said we should give you the respect accorded to a Luna." She said with a confused expression on her face.
Okay, this is weird. How would he instruct his pack members to treat me like a Luna after rejecting me? This man is an i***t.
"The alpha instructed me to take you to your assigned room." She finally said and I heaved a sigh.
"Okay, I don't even know your name yet." I admonished as I stood up.
Thank goodness! I think the goddess is working in sync with me because damn! If I slept in this dungeon one more night, I would pass out for real.
The only reason I was able to survive one night was the fact that I was unconscious.
And now that reminded me of my parents. My parents!! They would be so worried.
Later, I'll talk to Aiden and see if he would agree and allow me to go and see my parents even if it's once.
"My name is Muriel, my lady." She answered and walked out as I trailed her behind.
"Who's she? "
"I heard she's Luna. "
"Or maybe, one of Alpha Aiden's Mistresses. "
"Is she his girlfriend? "
Those were the whispers that followed me behind as I walked with Muriel to my acclaimed room.
Seriously, mistress or girlfriend!! That depicted the kind of p*****t Aiden must be. Who knows how many mistresses he had?
We finally got to a white door and she inserted a card that unlocked the door, as she unlocked it.. she handed the card over to me.
"Thanks." I greeted and she bowed before leaving.
A few minutes later, the doorbell rang and I went to answer it.
I had been admiring the room as whoever made this room had made it to my taste and satisfaction unknowingly.
Everywhere here was cladded in white from the painting on the wall to the duvet and window drapings. It made me feel so alive...
Opening the door, I came face to face with Muriel as she stood with a white tray in her hand.
My stomach growled as my wolf registered that the contents of the tray were edible food. The scent of twisted doughnuts wafted through my nostrils and it only made me realize how hungry I was.
"I brought your food by the command of the Beta." Muriel revered, coming in, and dropped the food on top of my bedside table.
So Daniel instructed them to get me food, how interesting!! He was so kind-hearted but no doubt, also a p*****t like Aiden.
Only a p*****t would say someone's name was turning him on. Gosh, I don't even want to remember that.
As Muriel went out and shut the door behind her, I immediately plunged into the food. As said earlier, it was twisted doughnuts and yogurt.
Is this not supposed to be a snack or dessert?
At the corner of the tray, I saw something that looked like paper, and inquisitiveness led me to open it.
And there on the paper scribbled in ink was a message from Daniel.
“I hope you enjoy your stay here, don't hesitate to take a stroll whenever you want. ” These were the contents of the letter.
I just smiled and folded the paper.
After I finished my good, I went into the shower and took my bath. After that, I dressed up and decided to take a stroll around the pack, so I could at least take account of my surroundings.
Even if Aiden was called the wolf assassin, he was insecure.
After all, it was only an Insecure Alpha who would instruct all his pack members to live in one abode at the pack house.
As I strolled out, my wolf suddenly readied herself. That was one unique thing about my wolf, she was always alert. But why she stood was what I couldn't fathom.
Before I could predict anything, I saw some pack members running Helter skelter like the pack was in chaos.
"Berly, return to your room and shut the door. Don't open it, no matter what happens." I heard Aiden's voice from behind.
"Daniel, prepare the gammas and warriors. We are being attacked by rouges." He instructed.
"I'm not locking myself up, I'm joining the pack warriors," I said, and both Aiden and Daniel turned to stare at me like I had grown horns.
"You'd be the only omega in battle!."
