Beryl's POV I opened my eyes in a dark coven. It was very dark, and I couldn't see what was ahead or behind. I stood up and held my aching head, wondering if I had hit it somewhere. I was alone, I could feel it and the silence of the coven scared me like never before. “Hello! Is someone there?” I called out, but my voice echoed back to me. “Hello! I'm in here, please, say something if you can hear me.” I tried again, but the silence mocked me once again. The only thing I could hear was the echo of my voice. I couldn't stay in one place, so I began walking, not knowing which side led deeper into the tunnel or towards the light which was outside.
