Chapter Fifty-eight

1856 Words

Beryl's POV I woke up with a start, sweat was dripping all over me, and I dropped around for something to hold to keep me steady. “Beryl, Beryl. I'm here, it's okay. It was just a nightmare.” I heard a voice consoling me and I turned to see Athena petting my arm and trying to calm me down. I instantly threw myself into her arms and she hugged me tightly as she kept whispering that everything was fine, and it was okay. Indeed, it was a dream, but deep down I knew it wasn't just any dream, it was a vision. A vision of someone I knew but who the person was is a mystery I didn't know. Could I have known the mother? Or the baby? Because I definitely didn't know about the Ultima, but now I knew what he looked like. His human face. After a while, I calmed down and turned to look at Athena.
