Beryl's POV
“Beryl!” Athena screamed in excitement as she ran towards me when she saw me approaching our quarters.
“Hey, Athena!” I said, hugging her back and trying to keep both of us stable in the tight hug that she had put me in.
“How’ve you been?” I asked her when she finally released herself.
“Not fine at all. Why do you keep traveling and keep me without a friend and gift partner.” She said as she detangled from me.
“You know if it isn't necessary I won't go.” I replied to her, and she looked at me with a calm face and expression.
“I know that, Beryl. How are you? We got your message and I still don't understand it. What happened?” She asked as she hooked her arm in mine, and we walked together towards the pack.
“It's a long story, Athena. Come, let's sit and I'll tell you.”
