That was a quite confrontation for someone that I am not close with. I stare at him and he was only looking straight without saying anything, this scenario should be 'he will walk out or I will be in my humiliating ass', in which what happened. I walked away, not looking back as people are looking towards my direction. They were all murmuring and gossiping on how I confronted that playboy and famous leader of the gang. I went back to my friends and they were both smirking on me, Yuki clapped his hands in disbelief and Lily was just shaking her head.

"Did I already told you that you were an i***t?" Lily asked and I let out a deep sigh.

"I think I could know that myself." I plainly answered and Yuki patted my shoulder and we started walking towards our classroom.

We entered and I can still feel the stares of the people in here. Like how good are their ears that they can hear every conversation and anything happened at the outside lawn. The three of us sat at the back and what a great timing as the professor entered and they were all running towards their seats.

"I guess we have three new students here in our class. Please get up and introduce yourselves." the professor said and I want to stay in my seat no moving any inch. But the two of them was already dragging me towards the center platform and I stood looking on everyone's faces.

"Hi everyone! I am Lily Grande and I looked forward being with you this semester!" she excitedly said and people clapped their hands for her.

"Hi! I am Yuki Nale and nice to meet you." he plainly said and a positive response was given to him.

"H-hi! I am Aki Lowell and nice to meet you." I said and just repeated the way how Yuki introduced himself but they are staring on me and only a few gave me their applause.

I got it, I made a mistake and I have to live with it- Ride or die.

I found myself staring blankly the whole class, I might be a top student from my previous school, still I cannot find it thrilling and exhilarating. My eyes can still be watering from the yawn I am making from the time the professor wrote on the board, I just need to end this class.

When I said that to myself, the timing and chances kicked in and a loud scream coming out from the outside of the building went on. All of my classmates ran towards the windowpanes and looked down in interests. I also looked to Lily and Yuki but they are already with the crowd knowing what is happening.

I am still sitting as a student entered the room while panting and everyone's attention is on her.

"Someone died. A student was found at the space behind the campus and she was... she was bit." she continued to report the news while still looking scared and in disbelief.

"Everyone. No one leaves this room until further announcement." the professor said and went out from the room.

Everyone became quiet, a strange view from me. How could they are not even worried? They are not reacting the way they were when I talked to that arrogant Nicholas? How could no one is saying their opinions.

"Scared?" I looked beside me as my seatmate talked to me.

"What do you mean?" I asked and she scoffs.

"Wow, someone got his first day and a murder is not something he is been scared of." she sarcastically said to me and chuckles.

"That is not what I meant." I answered and she nodded

"Of course, you must be confused. Why are those creatures not been acting surprised or even terrified." she said and I am only staring on her.

"Guess what, this is not the first time." she said and those words rings through my ear and I stood up and shocked.

"Hey! Are you alright?" I heard Lily asked to me and once and for all, they were all looking at me again.

"Calm down new face, reacting like that will only make you the target." she said and I slowly sit down like I was a trained dog with her orders

"I am Scarlette, by the way." she said and smiled. What a great timing for her to introduces herself

"I know you are Aki. I mean everyone knows." she said and I nodded. This girl seems like a noisy tattletale who loves gossiping.

"How was you first night at the dorm?" she asked to me.

"It was fine, I guess. I got many things to fix and did learned who will be my roommate for this whole semester." I answered and the memories from earlier went back into me.

"Can I just be more nosy and let me ask you something?" she asked like she was asking for a permission, in which you got no excuse or choice but to say sure.

"Sure! What do you want to ask?" I answered and she smirked.

"What did you know about Celestienne University?" she was and that was such a random one. This questions was not being ask when I got my interview from this campus, maybe they do not care any of that but why is she asking me that?

"A school for the rich and probably a prestigious school in this district." I answered and I controlled myself for not saying that this space if for brats and punks.

"Is that so? Then I bid you a good luck. Let me give you an advice, join Nicholas before you regret it." she said and smiled.

"Alright everyone! Please fall in line and everyone will be question one by one." the professor entered and when I looked back to that student, she was already gone.

"What a first day of school, I would say." Yuki said as he stood up and walked towards the door. Lily shrugged her shoulders and followed Yuki out.

"You will be next." I heard someone's voice but when I looked around, I was the only left in the room and no one could ever tell those words to me. Am I hallucinating? Maybe transferring here is not a great option.

Hours went by and the questioning was done. The classes were suspended as the police continued to question the other classes. I am not sure if is it because this is not the first time, but those officers and detectives really arrived early and not like those in the movies, that arrived when the whole crime was already done.

"Aki." I looked and it was Yuki running towards me.

"We need a group." he said to me and it raises my confusion.

"Why do we need a group?" I asked and he showed to me the paper announcement he ripped from the bulletin board.

"Fraternities and Sororities are now open for newcomers?" I said as I read the announcement.

"And I already got offers." Lily suddenly said and showed to us the forms she got from different sororities.

"We two need ours also." Yuki said and I grabbed the paper he was holding.

I scanned and looked through the paper and there is only two fraternities in this district, the Red Foxes which is led by Nicholas and Night Wolves led by someone goes by the name Caleb Watcher.

"I would not be joining Nicholas, that is for sure." I said to him and he showed to me the forms he got.

"Yuki! Do not tell me you are going to join them? They were bullies and not a brotherhood." I said to him.

"I have to join a strong one and that would be Nicholas." he firmly answered.

"Fine then I would be joining that another guy." I answered and he smiled.

"Are you sure you can be away from me?" he started to tease and Lily was cackling up beside me.

"Shut up, Yuki." I said but he still continues his little immaturity.

"Are you sure you do not want to join me in Nicholas' group?" he asked again and glare on him.

"I said would not and stop it." I said and he went silent.

"Someone was saying I was a bully when he was doing that to his friend." I heard Nicholas' loud and clear voice echoing as he walks towards us, with his underlings behind him.

"What now do you want?" I asked to him and he smirked.

"Nothing! I just have to collect my people. Yuki, we got to go." Nicholas said and faces Yuki.

"Where are we going?" Yuki asked.

"Did you not get the message? We have to do some talk about the rules and such." Nicholas answered.

"I was just actually my way submitting my form." Yuki answered and I can't help myself from snorting.

"Forms do not matter. I recruit you." Nicholas said and put his arm on Yuki's shoulder.

"That is the only way how it works. I recruit, automatically in my group. If you reject my offer, then live yourself as a living prey of a wolf." Nicholas said and started walking away with Yuki. I still see Yuki was looking back on us but he was just dragged away nonetheless.

"This is a bit awkward but I also have to be in the sorority house with my group." Lily said and I smiled.

"Of course, everyone needs to have fun in college." I answered and she smiled. Quickly walks away while waving her hand.

And! I have to visit that Night Wolves.
