Falling for a Lycan

Love is genderless. That is the line and idea I wanted to say to all of them. Love should not only be blind, should not only in the air, but it should also go beyond horizons, overcoming all the obstacles of the standards built by the society. I want to tell in my loudest voice that there is no minority, that there is no one should be in the state of embarrassment of showing the realness within them. "Aki! We have to go now." I heard Yuki said to me and I looked at the wall clock in the room. It was already five in the afternoon and it is now time for us to go home. "But I am still not yet done finishing the manuscript." I answered to him and he leaned by the door. "Aki, you have three days to finish that." he said and I looked on the papers I am working on and glance on him. "I think I cannot finish this in three days." I said and scratched my head. "Aki! You promised that we will be having a karaoke night!" a loud sound of thin voice came through and it was Lily. I looked on the work piled and I smiled as I turned to them, I nodded, closed the laptop and grabbed my bag on the table. How could I say now to my friends? We went out from the club room, the three of us were members of school newspaper's club. They would not join this club in the first place but I really wanted to join here, so they only followed me here. My passion is writing, and not just some simple scribbles, I want to be the voice of the student body. As I walked towards the hallway, I realized that we are the only one left in the building, well, aside from the student athletes who were practicing their sports in the lawn and in the school gyms. We walked towards the streets, the karaoke place was near by our school and I do not know how the municipality agreed for that to be opened near. We entered to that place, acting like we are not students, and you are wondering how did we entered, we just changed our clothes before we went out from the school. The arrogant lady who is guarding the entrance looked on us from our face down to our feet, I was avoiding her eyes and I do not want her to notice that I am a bit awkwardly standing in front of her. She nodded and the three of us successfully entered the place, pay the room for the karaoke and Lily entered first, grabbing the microphone and the remote control for the machine. I just sat on the couch and decided to order some food and drinks for the three of us. I just let Lily to sing and finished the time given to us, as how is usually happens if we went out for celebration. Today is my birthday and also the last day I will have to meet these two crackheads. My parents decided to move out from this neighborhood and I should be transferred to another school where we will be living after. I do not have the voice inside he family, ironic right? But I always just follow their words, without any words of contradiction coming from me- the reason is, I just do not like it. Our family do not have that huge family issues in between, I love my parents and I love-- "Aki! How could you stare blankly in the corner when today is your birthday?!" Lily shouted at me and walked towards holding the microphone. "I do not want to sing." I said to her and scoffed, shaking her head in disagreement. "This could be the last time we could gather the three of us, you have to sing at least one song." she insisted and forcedly put the microphone in my hand. I looked on Yuki and he was just chuckling while pressing the number keys on the remote. I guess Lily ordered him to choose a song for me. I looked on the screen and it was the song that gave me the huge embarrassment in front of the class. I glared on Yuki and he is just laughing because of his great choosing of a song. I sang it, while closing my eyes and holding the microphone tight with my fist. When I finished, I walked out from the room and bumped into someone. "Sorry." I mumbled and was about to leave when some guy put his arms in front of me and leaning on the wall beside me. "Sorry? You have to kneel." he said to me and I looked on him confused. "Why would I do that?" I answered back and he scoffed. I looked around and realized that I was in a deep trouble. Boys with the same age as mine are standing around us and the guy who looked like a goon staring right into me. "Because you bumped me." he arrogantly answered and I chuckles. "That was an accident, and I already apologized." I said and also glares on him. . "You laugh? You think this is an accident? You are the i***t here for that to happened." he argues and walked towards me, closer and formed his body acting like he was about to punch me. I stopped that to happened and I caught his fist, that I got the force and strength to pull him towards him. "You do not want to fight me, Stop acting like you are the strongest here." I whispered to him and aggressively let go off his hand. I started walking away but he yelled on me. "Hey!!! Do you think you can get away from this?! I will kill you!" he keep on yelling but I just made my way out from that karaoke place. I saw a convenience store across the street and I quickly went to it, entered and bought myself something to drink. I believe the other two would just finish singing until their lungs out and I will just wait for them here. It was already night time, probably seven in the evening and the road seems quiet than the usual. Cold night breeze went out and I was just looking at the sky when someone's face appeared and freaked the hell out of me. "Yuki! what do you think you are doing?!" I yelled on him as I stood from the seat. He is laughing and sat on the chair across mine, Lily was being upset and crossed her arms in front of me. I glance on Yuki like asking him what happened to her and he pointed towards me, which also leads on pointing myself out. "How dare you left us there?" Lily seriously asked to me, her voice is in monotone and it was too cold than the breeze. "I just wanted some air." I plainly answered. "Did you encountered them?" she asked once again and this is the time she looked on me. "Who are you referring to?" I asked and Yuki shrugged his shoulders. "Those boys, Red Dragons." she said and I burst out laughing. "What the hell is the name?" I exclaimed and I hold on my stomach for laughing too much. "I am serious here, Aki. You should not meet their paths or you would be dead." she said to me. "Alright, worrisome lady, I would not cross any kind of paths with them." I answered when she keeps on staring on me like she would not stop until I said those words. "When are you leaving?" Yuki asked to me. "Tomorrow morning, I guess. I have to go to school, my new school," I answered and drank the drink I got earlier. "Why does you have to move? This is the first time you would be out of this neighborhood." Lily said to me and she sounds too irritated with it. "I do not have any choice, that was all my parents' call." I answered. "Can you not live here and let you parents go to the place where they are placed?" Yuki asked and I chuckles. "How could I do that? Of course, that was impossible." I said to them and both of them went quiet. "Hey, I could always go back here anytime. Or you could visit me there, this is not the last time we will see each other." I said to them and they both let out a deep sigh. "Which school are you transferring to?" Lily asked. "Still have not yet seen the papers but I heard it is called Celestienne University." I answered. "No way! No freaking way!!!" Lily yelled as she stood up in shocked. "What? What is wrong with you?" I asked to her. "You are going to transfer to that elite school?!" Lily exclaimed and I was too indifferent with it. "Is that an elite one? I have no idea." I plainly said. "This i***t! How could you not know that school? That is the biggest and premier school in the main district." she explained to me and I nodded my head just for her to stop. "You really do not know?" Yuki asked and I nodded. "I just bid you good luck." Yuki added. "Why is that?" I asked and I also noticed that Lily sat on her seat again and awkwardly chuckles. "That is where the members of the Red Foxes attending." she said. ---
