Piper didn"t like where the twist this new development took them. It was easy when you thought you only had one enemy to look out for, but now there was a second entity, and they didn"t know if it was a mere thief or the actual killer.
"It would sure be easier if we knew what everybody was searching for," she grumbled to Joel.
"Whatever it is, it"s valuable enough to kill for. What I wonder is if we have two items that are being searched for."
Piper raised her eyebrows as she thought about what Joel said. If he was right, then the second person could walk into something they weren’t even aware of. Something dangerous. Something that had killed Lily Strauss.
"I think this all goes back to what Lily was doing with her crafts. We need to find out more information." Joel interrupted Piper"
