Chapter 15

The doctor recommended some drugs which she bought.The doctor left in the evening after giving him some therapy.

At around 5pm ,the children came back home,it was Desire's last son who carried them.He met Agora sitting down in the parlour lost in thoughts,"Good evening ma",the voice accompanied her into the reality,"How are you my son?",she stammered,"My mum extend her regards to you and she told me to tell that she will be coming tomorrow to meet with you around 10am,will you be at home ma","yes ".He dropped the children and took his leave.

Jackson, Desire's last child is a teacher.A very quiet man,down to earth and fun to be with.He refuse to settle in the city because of the chaos and violence in the city.He prefer the village with it cool atmosphere and vegetation to the noisy life of a city.

Agora looked at her children and sigh.She stood up to check on her husband.She went directly to the kitchen after she saw him fast asleep.She cooked a delicious meal for her family but she has to feed her husband because he is incapacitated now.As she fed him,they were both crying.

Chapter

Five month after the incidence, George starts recovering,he is able to lift his right hand and talk ,although not that audible but with attention one could hear.

The children are no longer living with them they are in Lagos,Tony offers to help since the boys are intelligent.

One morning,George looked at his wife and smiled,his wife ,surprised asked him,"Babe,why are you smiling ,it is been long I see you smile,hope you are not planning something childish","No...., I,I am jut just grab grateful "."You don't need to be grateful darling,you are my man and I should be willing to do anything for you.

He attempt to hug her ,as Agora saw the attempt,got close to him and hugged him ."I love you"he muttered after many attempt."I love you too, darling".They are In this position until after about two minutes when someone knocked the door.

Chapter 16

"Who is that?"she said,"We are from the company","company?"she repeated,She proceeded to open the door for them."Good morning", the young man wearing a black suit with a black shoe and a multi colored tie respond,"morning,I am here to see your husband ",the young man replied."Okay,come in".She allowed the man inside,she went inside to fetch her husband who was on a wheel chair,she pushed the chair to the parlour.Upon seeing the man still standing,she offered him a sit.The man say down and cleared his voice,"Madam,you are the one I can talk to,I cannot talk to your husband because of his condition,So I will not add salt to injury",madam,you have to leave this house because it is part of the company's property,you have to move and the company is giving you two months to pack out,enjoy your day madam".The man took his leave without even hearing from them whether it goes down well on them.

As he closed the door, reality dawn on her, George was already crying,she moved closer to him,"My dear, everything will be fine, please be strong for us",she smiled despite the reality."My baby, I love you and I will be strong for you"he stammered.

George is getting better day by day and Agora is the one doing the therapy for him now because she has mastered the process from the doctor.He can now talk very well ,he is no longer sitting on the wheel chair,he could walk a short distance.Things are changing but they have to move,day by day,Agora is thinking about what to do but nothing is forthcoming.

Chapter 17

After dinner one beautiful evening,George called his wife to discuss how they are going to move out in two weeks times."My dear,how are we preparing,you told me not to think,what are your plans?".She cleared her throat ,"My prince,I have collected a loan from my boss","Your boss",he replied,"Yes,he knows I am an honest person and he decided to borrow me the money,the question is that, should we go back to the city or stay in the village?",she smiled."Let stay in the village because of the peace here,my love, I want to apologize for everything I have make you pass through,thank you for being strong for me and my children,I promise to make it up to you".

He stood up to hug her and he started kissing her aggressively, touching her body,"Let go in dear". George walked her woman down into the room with care.As they both entered,He undressed his wife and start caressing her body and she is only responding with submission.He then laid her on the bed and they gave a nice time.

"It is being long I do this with you,I really miss you"he said,Agora looked away blushing,"You are the most beautiful thing that ever happen to me,you stand by me when I needed you most,you showered care and love on me without looking at the pain I have caused you,Agora look into my eyes,I will forever be indebted to you and I promise to change ,I have a confession to make",he looked at her and dragged closer to her,they are both naked and he touched her chest under the duvet,"Agora ! during our trial period, I met a lady who got pregnant for me after one night stand but the child died during delivery,I am sorry ".

Chapter 18

Agora looked at her husband and smiled,"I know those times when you were cheating but I decide to keep quiet so that you will not be offended and send me packing ",her husband looked at her with disbelief,"I know you will not believe me.One day, the lady called me and said that you are heartless because when she needed you most,you were not there,she narrated everything that happened to me ,I apologized on your behalf and told her that God will provide a good and caring husband for her". George was speechless,he went on his kneel and apologize to his wife.

They packed out of the house and packed into their new rented house.George started commercial farming while his wife continue selling his ware.Things are now rosy for them,Agora now had peace of mind in her own home.

She came from market one afternoon,her husband is still working in the farm when she flashed back and remembered everything she has passed through.She just realize she started thinking about her life from the very beginning,she check her phone and see that she has already spent about five hours thinking,"How time flies"she muttered.

The twin are doing well in their academic but they are not grown up,Agora their mother is now afraid that the children might become great in their lifetime.Will she live to see their greatness and eat the fruit of her labour?
