I woke up when I felt someone was touching my hair and I was surprised to see Andrew who was already awake and he was playing with my hair. I immediately stood up from lying down the bed beside him making him chuckle and he sat up.

I felt so embarrassed.

"Sorry." I said.

"You're so cute, did you know that?" He said making my cheeks became warm. Eziel sometimes called my cute but it was different with Andrew. It sounds like he didn't sees me as mature enough.

"I-I'm not cute." I said.

"You are." He grinned and we both looked at the door when someone knocked and opened it.

It was Martin, one of the pack doctors, and he smiled when he saw me there.

"Seems like you're getting to know each other." He said with his grinning face.

"Yeah. Unfortunately, someone barge in." Andrew said making me smile but I hid it.

"Well, sorry about that but I have to check how are you doing because your mate here is so worried and he kept on bothering and asking me when will you wake up."

My cheeks turned even warm and I glared at Martin. I just asked him a few times because Caim and I couldn't stop from worrying.

"I just want to check him." I said and I jumped when Andrew held my hand making me smack it away and he was surprised that I did that. I just hit him.

"S-Sorry." I muttered.

"It's fine." Andrew said and it suddenly felt so awkward there.

"Paige, did you already eat your breakfast?" Martin asked.

"I haven't." I answered as I bowed my head. I wasn't use on someone suddenly touching me without notice or without me knowing and it was a hobby to slap it away because I didn't want it to hurt.

"You go down stairs and eat breakfast. I will take care of your mate. Eziel must be looking for you." Martin said and I nodded before I walked out of the room without looking at Andrew.

I felt guilty. Andrew hadn't known about my condition and I was afraid that he might leave me if he knew about it. I fought the tears that was starting to cloud my eyes and were warning to slide down. I ran to my room instead of going down for breakfast and went to the bathroom.

I washed my face and looked at the mirror. Someone who was broken like me doesn't deserve to be with someone like Andrew. I would only be a huge burden for him to carry.

I tried to calm myself when I heard a few knocks from the door. It was Lorain and I bet she would check me if I already eat breakfast or maybe she would bring me my breakfast.

I wiped my face dry before I walked to the door and opened her. She smiled at me.

"Good morning, Paige. Eziel's looking for you."

"Morning Lorain." I gave her a small smile. "Thank you." I went down with her to the dining area and Eziel, Jack and Connor were eating breakfast—or more like brunch—together.

"Paige, come here." Eziel said and I sat down beside Jack who was beside Eziel and Car was sitting on Eziel's lap who was silently and happily eating his pancake.

I didn't have the appetite to eat anything at all but I know Eziel would still convince me to eat.

"I heard Andrew woke up." Eziel said and Jack turned to me.

"That's great. Did you see him already?" Jack said and I nodded my head.

"What's wrong?" Eziel asked.

"Nothing." I said and I know he wouldn't stop if I wouldn't tell him the truth. He always sees me if I was lying or not.

"It's either you tell me what's going on or you tell me what's going on." He said.

See? Yes, he gave me choices but the same choices. I still have no way to run and I didn't want to make him angry.

I pressed my lips so hard and gripped the fork on my hand. "Will he hate me if he'll know that I'm different?" Eziel looked at me and he wasn't showing any emotions at all making me a little scared.

"Of course, he won't hate you." Jack said.

"Will you hate him if he was you and you were him?" Eziel asked and I looked at him then shook my head.

"No, I won't." I answered.

"Andrew will say the same answer if I will ask him the same question." Eziel said. "Paige, you don't have to think too much about it. I know it's hard in your part but you have to believe him. He came this far to be with you."

Eziel was true and they kept on saying the same thing but I still couldn't find the confidence to believe that Andrew would accept me because of who I am.

Even I couldn't accept who I am.

I nodded my head and Eziel placed my plate with foods.

"Now eat your breakfast."

I didn't visit Andrew back at his room even though Caim and I badly want to see him. I heard that he continued to take some rest so I didn't want to disturb him.

I spend my time in the living room with Cara who was playing with her blocks but my mind wasn't focused at all.

"Uncle Paige." I turned to Cara who was giving me a green block. "Let's play."

I happily sat down beside her on the floor which was covered with soft mat. We built our house with colorful blocks until Lorain came and played with us also. I was frozen when I smelled him and felt him moving towards me, his scent was getting closer that it sends goosebumps all over my skin.

"Can I join also?" Andrew said making me turn to my back to look at him.

He changed into a new pair of shorts and shirt and he looked so handsome I couldn't even take my eyes from him.

"Yes." Cara said happily.

"But I want to talk to your uncle Paige first." He said making my heartbeat became faster from nervousness and fear.

"Okay." Cara agreed.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked me and I nodded my head. Well, I couldn't avoid him forever.

He held his hand for me to grab and support me to stand and I was thinking if I should take it or not. It would be rude if I wouldn't take it. I raised my hand and took his hand and I had this crazy feeling when our hands touched.

He pulled me up. "Thanks." I said and he smiled at me without letting go of my hand.

The magic broke when we heard Lorain giggled. "You look so perfect together." She said and I pulled my hand from his hold.
