I opened the door, running to the end of the hall, I told him we didn’t have much time before the sun rose. He nodded understanding the danger that we were in. I headed out first to make sure the coast was clear, once I didn’t see anyone we ran for it to the corner of the house. Sure enough I knew it wasn’t going to be that easy, gun fire shot off as soon as we got the corner. Ducking back behind the side of the house and squatting down so they wouldn’t hit us. I looked back behind us and someone popped around the other side. I shot a perfect shot before he could, I then heard yelling from the corner of the house and knew exactly who it was, Eran. I peeked around the corner to get a look at him, but before I could see him someone shot. He missed thankfully, but not me, I turned the corner so fast even though Dimitti was yelling for me not to. I shot almost all of them in the chest or the head. I had to duck behind a barrier he had before any of the others got a shot on me. Eran then started yelling again.
“THIS IS RIDICULOUS, JUST SHOOT HER!!!”
“It’s not going to be that easy, you should know that.”
I then popped back up and shot three more of his guys before I had to duck again. I then heard a gun c**k like they were right above me and sure enough, I looked up and aimed just right as he popped over the side and I took it. The shot was perfect, his blood splatter all over me but I didn’t care. He then just laid there like he had been placed there for decorations.
“You know this would be alot easier if you just let us go.”
“Never.”
He said it with such evil in his voice I knew this was going to be a fight. I then stood up with my guns pointed and they started to shoot as I walked up and shot them one by one, I could see the fear in Eran’s face. He ran inside leaving his men outside with me, big mistake. One of the guys did hit me but it was more of a skim, he was the last one standing. The look in his eyes when I pointed the gun at him told me he was scared, but it wasn't my problem, he chose the wrong side. I had no feeling when I pulled the trigger, then I could hear someone running up behind me. I swung around not thinking it could be Dimitti, when I saw him standing there with his hands up I knew to put it down.
I then swung back around and walked up to the front door, I could hear people on the other side. So instead of letting them shoot me when I open the door, I hide off to the side of them and open them anyways, so they would fire but not hit me. After they stopped firing I stepped in front of all of them and started shooting, I didn’t stop till all of them were down, blood all over the floor. I then noticed the blood that was running down my leg from when the one guy that had skimmed me. I then took off my trench coat, tossing it off to the side. I didn’t need it anymore, there was no reason for me to have it at this point. I looked within the body's to see if Eran was one of them but no luck. I then went from room to room getting scuffed up in the presses with the fighting and gun fire.
Once the first floor was cleared, I walked to the stairs and started up them. He had to be in his safe room for when things got like this, I didn’t care if there were a dozen of the men at the top or not. As I walked up I reloaded my weapons, after I got to the top step I could see them down the hall where the safe room was ready to fire if I got any closer. I kept walking and these guys were scared of me, their guns shocking and the look of pure fear on their faces. These were the guys I had trained with on sundays, they knew what I could do and didn’t want to piss me off. I was already pissed off tho, I pulled my weapons up and started to shoot as I walked to the first door. I ducked behind it for cover so I didn’t get hit by another person. I was seeing red now, so close but now these guys that I thought of as friends were shooting and I was shooting at them.
“You know boys, this doesn’t have to end the way it’s going.”
“We have to, whether we want to or not.”
“That's not true you know, you can change sides and come back to the states with me.”
“We would be put in jail if we did that.”
“No you wouldn't. I have friends, I can make you like this but better. You can be like me, with a team behind you and ready to do whatever you say or ask.”
I could hear them shuffling around, then I heard their guns drop to the floor. I knew they made their decision, I then walked out from the door. They were all standing there with their guns far enough away I could trust they couldn’t get to them in time if this was a game. I started to walk up to them picking up the weapons as I passed by them. I then opened the door and there he was, Eran was standing there with a gun in his hand. His hand was shaking tho, I had a smirk on my face at this point. I pulled my weapon up and shot when he did, my aim was good but not so much of his. His bullet went right by my arm but never hit me, mine on the other hand hit him right in the shoulder. He landed on the ground so hard, I walked over and stood over top of him. I wondered if he was going to try anything else, he didn't, he looked up at me and without hesitation I made the final shot. He was lying there, lifless, with a bullet hole in his forehead.
