Chapter 16

    We got up the next day and the feeling was still there, I couldn’t shake it. I got dressed and ready for this mission, my trench coat, jeggings, and a tank top. I put all of my hosters on and sleeves for my knives, we got in the car letting him drive. He pulled over on the outskirts of the warehouse property where they wouldn’t see the car sitting out here. They never took this way anyways, so it made sense. We started to walk in the woods torwars the back of the warehouse, they were thick and hard to get through. I could see the light coming from the tree line coming closer and closer as we walked. Finally reaching it we hid in the tall grass and the shadows of the trees. We watched for a while and waited for it to get dark, once the sun set everyone was starting to leave and go home. I moved with the darkness and in the shadows, he had got to the front of the warehouse a while ago to watch from there. 

    I got to the back door and peeked inside to make sure everyone was gone, I didn’t see anyone and all the lights were out. I didn’t want to turn them on just in case there was an alarm or someone was here. I moved behind the boxes and slowly to the back of the warehouse. I stopped, there was still someone here, I could see a light in the back cage where the bomb was kept. It was the guy that had been building this thing for months now, he was doing some finishing touches it looked like. I didn’t want to startle him and he set it off. I slowly went in behind him while his back was turned and just like that, pointed a gun at his head when turned and faced me. I could see the fear in his eyes but I didn’t care, this man was a monster. 

    “You are supposed to be dead.”

    “I don’t think so, I’m very much alive.”

    “But how?”

    “It doesn’t matter, all that does matter is that I have a gun pointed at your head and you are coming with me with that bomb.”

    “I can’t, they will kill me.”

    “No they won't. I’ll make sure of that. Look I know you have a family and they have threatened to kill them if you didn’t build this.”

    “Yes.”

    “Then come with me and your family will be safe. I have people getting to them now.”

    I didn’t lie to him, Dimitti had told the bosses about the situation he was in and wanted to make sure he would cooperate if he knew his family was safe. It did work because he got right to work to get it stable for transport in the car. Once it was ready he picked it up and started to walk out of the cage. I had him follow me to the car that was still there and untouched. I picked up my burner phone, dialed Dimitti’s number and it went straight to voicemail. Something was wrong, I knew something was going to happen, now I just had to find him. I told the guy to get in the car and wait for me, I went to where Dimitti was supposed to be and checked my location to make sure I was in the right spot. I looked around and almost gave up till I saw a spot darker than the leaf. I touched it to see what it was and what I had found made my heart drop. It was blood and I knew it was his, his body was nowhere to be found and only blood left behind. 

    I ran back to the car and got in as fast as I could knowing he was hurt, I had a good idea where he was and I had to get him out of there as fast as possible. They would torcher till he broke and I didn’t know how long that would be. I went to the motel room and the guy came in with me to make sure he was safe while I found Dimitti. I called Mickel as soon as we got in and told him what was going on and that we had the bomb. He responded fast and calm to make sure I wouldn’t freak out. Told me where to meet the team that was going to pick this guy up with the bomb knowing that the plan had just changed. I met at the rondayvoo point like I was supposed to and they showed up right on time. I got him on the chopper and made sure he was secure before I walked back to the car and drove off. I was running out of time. 

    I went back to the motel, made sure I had enough amo, weapons of all kinds ready and in a bag. I hopped back into the car and off the main house, I knew they were going to keep him in the room, the torture room as I called it now. I pulled over to a hidden stop in the woods, it didn’t completely matter if they found the car now. I stashed the bag of weapons and grabbed an extra pistol for him to use. I made my way quietly to the first guard slitting his throat and dragged him to the woods so they wouldn’t raise any alarms. I then had to take out one more before I could get to the house and took his body to the same place as the other. 

    I didn’t know these two, so it made it easier to do my job. I got to the front of the house without being directed, I had to hurry tho, the sun was starting to rise, I had maybe an hour before everyone woke up. I rushed to the door and slowly opened it to peek inside to make sure no one was there, sure enough there was a guard that was stationed right inside the door now because of me. I took out my pistol that had a silencer on it and shot him with no hesitation. I ran the bottom of the hall and swung open the door, making sure no one was around the room first. I walked over to Dimitti, he looked shocked that I had made it inside. This isn't over yet, we still had to get out of here. I took my knife out and started on the ropes, cutting through easy. After he was free I handed him the extra pistol I was carrying for him. He was ready, and we went to the door peeking out before we left that room.
