Episode 6

Alpha Kyro is known vastly for his Cruelty and candidness when handling his werewolves who lives in crescent pack.

Rumours said he never pay visit to any pack unless it is of very important issue. This all makes Sage so worry and curious. She wonders why the elder brother of Harry, her mate had visited Quincy's home.

Abruptly she left the window and dashes to Quincy's side, giving him a gentle shook, hoping he will wake up but heartbreakingly he didn't.

He only lay flat on his back lifelessly. Sage was having the most difficult moment of her life when the heavy knock came on the door, almost pulling the wooden door off the hinges.

Sage turn around towards the door, expecting Alpha Kyro to burst his way in when all of a sudden the hand suddenly wrapped around her wrist.

Sage's heart nearly flew out of her mouth at the unexpected occurrence. She felt the pang of pain as Quincy's fingers pierce cruelly into her tender flesh and then she slowly glance down to him.

That moment was when she get the shock of her life. The man before him isn't a werewolf as she had thought but someone else. His eyes bloom into dark lights and the horns appears carefully on his forehead.

Sage bounce back in horror when she got the answer. Quincy Moon is a Demon. Swiftly she began to crawl back, trying to save herself but then the man launched up with his fangs revealed.

" You are mine Sage. You are mine " Quincy thundered in that ominous voice of his that shook the earth and woke the lady out of her deep slumber.

Sage Preston snapped back to reality, flipping her eyelids open before giving a loud shrieking scream in the plane she sat in.

Frantically she look around, aiming to run away from the Demon she had seen but all she could lay her eyes on were passengers who were ready to fly off to Las Vegas.

The flight attendants were quick to attend to the hysterical lady who was put in awe.

" Please ... Where am I ? Where am I ? "

" Uh ... Miss Preston you are in a flight going to Las Vegas. We have a little flight delay and you slept for just thirty minutes "

This words from the flight attendant makes sage's heart dropped. She swiftly peered out of the window to see truly she is just about to leave for her one month's examination.

So all that has happened were dreams, no, nightmare. Quincy Moon had appeared as a demon in her sleep and as usual he has been possessive but also lonely. Sick and dying.

Sage slowly glanced down at her hands to see them shivering. She still got the chill from the nightmare and somehow her interest in taking the examination wither away into thin air.

She had found Quincy Moon after seven years, had laid with him the previous night, given him his virginity and now she can't leave him anymore.

Abruptly Sage get up from her seat and headed out without listening to the reasonable words from the flight attendants.

She alighted from the plane which luckily haven't took off at all and she ran all the way to where she parted ways with Gage, her twin brother.

As luck would have it, she didn't find her brother. It has been Thirty minutes since they parted ways which means Gage would have gone home.

Again, Sage headed home. Now with the determination to pay more attention on Quincy and learn more about the Mysterious man who seem to be out of space.

Sage flag down a taxi and headed home. The ride back to the large pack isn't too far and she was glad it lasted well.

When she alighted, she gently look up to the massive gate, staring directly at the lamp that represents the Alpha's health.

Sage let out a sigh of relief when the lights was seen glowing brightly which means Alpha Quincy is well. Demon or not.

Earnestly she walk into the pack and took the street at her right. Sage finally arrived at the doorstep of her home but to push open the door now Become an heavy task.

She knows well enough her mother would rant her out but somehow, she hope her father is there to take her side as always.

After taking a couple of breath to calm her nerve she gently pushed the door open and walk slowly into the living room.

There is no one in the tidy place but she could overheard the soft conversation from the dinning area and she goes to see things for herself.

The moment she get closer, the perfect scent of flower crawls into her nostril and she stiffened immediately.

The scent that only Quincy Moon possessed. Carefully Sage appears in the doorway to see him, The man she once loved and still admires greatly.

His curly hair flowing beautiful around his shoulder. He was seated on the chair while her mother is trying to serve him some cup of tea as refreshment.

Gage was beside him but he stood still to pay his respect as the beta. Sage couldn't find her dad and she concluded he must have gone to work as always.

No one noticed her presence as she arrived except Quincy Moon. He was watched Sage's mother pouring out the coffee when he also perceived the lady's scent.

Gently he tilted his head to stare at the doorway and his eyes locked with sage's. Invisible emotions immediately flare up between them and some forces held sage's down, compelling her to never look away.

She found her heartbeat racing and thudding for love. This makes her wonder why Quincy had that much effect on her.

Sage's mother who saw the Alpha looking at the entrance was curious so she also turn only to see her daughter whom she expected to be on her way to Las Vegas.

As expected Sage's mother gave a shriek and was about to start scolding when unfortunately the warm cup of coffee spilled unto Quincy's bare hand, making the man's flesh goes immediately bruise.

Everyone immediately become concern. Even Sage who had caused the distraction have her jaw drop in concern but the man who seem to be the victim in all the incident never flinched.

Quincy Moon only have his eyes on the lady ahead on him, wondering why her presence means a lot to him. He couldn't look away from her even when his allergies was triggered and his skin produces the usual red dots.

" Oh my goodness. I will ... I will clean you up Alpha Quincy. I really apologized for my act. I was only ... " The mother was saying. She turn around to sage and snapped at her. " Don't just stand there. Go ahead and bring the first aid box! "

" Yes... Yes mother " Sage immediately obeyed her mother's order. She left for a brief Seconds and then return with the king which she brought forward to the dinning table.

Her mother step back, expecting her to take the lead, to care for the Alpha since she is supposed to be a doctor.

Sage gulped down hard. She slowly glance at Gage who stare back at her in wonder. He wonder endlessly why she had returned when they have planned out all their next movement together.

Sage gently glanced back to Quincy and then open the first aid kit. She was about to start when Quincy pulled back his hand and sigh.

" It's just an allergy. It will go off once I return back to my room " He said in that deep hoarsely voice that leap sage's heart for joy.

She slowly look up into his sapphire blue eyes to see him staring at her as well but this time with a small smile.

" You come back. Why? " He asked and the lady swallow hard. She turn to see her mother and Gage also interested in the answer. Why in the hell did she changed her decision about going for her one month's tutorial?

" I had a ... Nightmare " She whispers shakily. " And it's ... It's about you "

This words makes Quincy creased up his eyebrows in curiosity and she nodded.

" Let's hear it. Tell me about it "

Sage was reluctant. She bite her lower lips at Quincy's request as she made to step back but abruptly the Alpha caught her arm firmly, stopping her from escaping.

He then look up to her eyes only to see she is scared of him. This makes him tilted his head in somewhat confusion.

Did she knows already? He thought to himself Inwardly. Did she know who I am?

" Tell me "

" Quincy ... " Sage breathe out shakily. " I was scared. I ... I thought you were dying and ... and then I goes off to ... "

" What did you see? " He cut in instead, very interested in her next words. " Tell me Sage. What did you see in this nightmare of yours? "

The lady finally swallow hard. She decided to tell it out because there is no gain in keeping it all in. She even felt more scared by not sharing it with anyone.

" Sage ... "

" I saw a Demon " She cut in gently. " And that Demon ... Is you "

Taken aback by this new information, Quincy slowly releases his hold on her and then lean back in his chair to watch her with unread expression.

Gage and his mother were interested in the conversation and where it is leading to. They all expected Quincy to admit Sage's words when all of a sudden the Alpha's lips parted for a smile.

He then chuckled heartily, trying hard not to loose control. Sage Preston immediately felt like a fool. She slowly turn to Gage only to see him trying hard to hide his smile too.

" I'm telling the truth Quincy. You have to believe me " She said rather angrily this time but the Alpha didn't obeys. He only continues to laugh. The lady finally have had enough. She fisted her hand and made to attack him with a punch but Quincy caught her wrist in midair and pulled her down to his lap with the movement.

He then circled his hands around his waist, stealing ofc her ability to speak or move.

He stopped laughing and then pinned his gaze on her intensely. His Blue eyes varies around the fell on her plumped red lips which tempted him so much.

" There is nothing like Demon in this world Sage. It's only filled with Werewolves, Lycan, humans and hybrids. I believe you are overthinking "

" Quincy ... "

" I came here to inform you about something important but I couldn't find you for some minutes. This makes me sad but thank moon goddess you are here "

She waited to hear him out. She saw him parted his lips again but then she cut in, scared that he would say something unpleasant.

" Please don't tell me you are leaving "

" No. Not again. I am not "

" Then ... Then what? " She asked with her heart in her throat. Wondering what must have been so important than had make the Alpha comes all the way.

" I am getting married Sage and ... You are invited "

Dropping the bombshell seem easy for Quincy Moon but to be accepted by Sage Preston is a very hard task. Stunned by the announcement she staggered backward, dazed.

She was about to take her leave when the voice came from behind him, the voice of the Alpha saying.

" You are the bride and I am the groom. Like I said I don't care if you got a mate or not. The point is I am back and I own you, ready to claim you as my mate, my wife and Luna "

Quincy Moon dropped another bombshell and this time even Sage's mother got the shock. She dropped her jaw in awe as she thought she didn't hear right.

An Alpha proposing a marriage to Sage? No way.
