Episode 3
Jimmie's pov:
I gasped and moved closer to the bin then the man stared at me weirdly...
"Please can I have that book, it's mine" I said raising my index finger and he just shrugged like he didn't care. I quickly picked it and dusted the body.
Of course, it was the same book I gave that man.
I frowned and fixed it into my bag. If he didn't want to help me, he should have just said it instead of mishandling my stuff.
People are wicked.
...and you know what?
I'm going to wait here for Miss Beatrice and I'll show her myself. I saw a shade beside the building, so I went there to sit.
I brought out my book and started drawing images that came to my mind. I could take my time to draw all day and I wouldn't feel anything.
Hours passed and suddenly I started hearing noises from the entrance of the building then I stood up. I checked the time on my phone and realized it was 4:47 then I ran to check what was going on. The entrance was crowded with Paparazzi and they where obviously waiting for Miss Beatrice.
Was she that famous?
After a while a black Benz drove in smoothly with other cars coming in from behind then bodyguards quickly came out to coordinate the crowd. One of them went to open the door and a beautiful young looking lady, stepped out of the car.
I gasped as I stared at how beautiful she was and it got me so attracted to her that I walked closer but the crowd wouldn't let me move any further. She smiled at the crowd and tuckened the loosed strand of her hair behind her ear giving her this perfect posture.
It would look really good if I sketched this out so I quickly brought out my big camera and just took an unaware picture because of the crowd that wouldn't give me space.
I had a look of what I took and smiled then I went back to sit under the shade to draw her in a flash. I did it as fast as I could, painted it and added some finishing touches... I always like to sign on my work though. When I was done, I went back to the entrance but she had already gone inside and they wouldn't let me in.
I pleaded that it was very important but they threatened to throw me out. I felt discouraged, went back under the shade and slumped on the bench.
What's the point?
After everything, I wasn't able to get anything important for the day. What have I done wrong? Is it a crime not to follow the choice of my Mum.
Mum will definitely not allow me to enter the house.
I frowned so hard and out of anger, I squeezed the paper and threw it on the floor. I grabbed my bag and left the company to Leo's office.

"What is wrong with me? Is something really wrong with me? Why does the world hate me so much? Could you believe that he actually threw my book into the garbage after saying he would help me." I kept ranting angrily and Leo just patted my back to calm me down.
"It's okay, you'll find a better place." He said
"When? I've been saying a better place for the past three years of my life now" I cut in and he sighed.
"and I said you shouldn't worry" h said calmly and I just frowned into space.
"I even took the pain of waiting for Miss Beatrice but they wouldn't even let me see her to talk to her about my idea. You know what? Life suck" I said
"Calm down Jimmie. Maybe they were just too preoccupied or something" he said and gave me a glass of water.
"No they weren't. He said it clearly that my idea was trash and it's not inline with their strategy. F*ck their stupid strategy" I huffed and gulped down the whole glass.
I clenched my fist angrily when I remembered how I suffered to make that comic book he tossed into the waste bin.
"Not withstanding I'll check another place for you" he said but I just kept mute. I was too pained to speak and all I did was just stare at nothing.
"Can I stay at your place tonight or is Tessy coming over?" I asked
"Well you can, she's not coming over because of her girls night out" he said
"Thank you. I just can't face my mum again" I mumbled and he chuckled.

*At Bea's Company*
"I appreciate you all for all the good works. You all are wonderful." Beatrice said to her workers with a beautiful smile and they all applauded.
"I'm happy to announce to you that, I'll be here permanently and wouldn't be far away as before"
"I would want the secretary to give me the list of all the workers I'm dealing with in this company and if there is any newly employed, Mr Richard should kindly give me there names as well" She explained and they all nodded.
"And one more thing..."
"I am not really satisfied with the size of this company. It's not as spacy as I expected it to be. When I saw the photos, I thought it's just because it was on the phone but when I finally saw it physically, I wasn't that pleased. It wasn't up to my taste at all, The topography is quiet poor"
"So I'll move round the building after now to have a proper look at it to know where we need to renovate. So Sheng?" She called
"Yes ma'am?" He replied
"Tell the supervisor to meet me outside" she said and he nodded before leaving.
She went out and walked round the building, pointing to the areas she needed correction.
She walked to the shade and looked up to the building.
"This shade isn't supposed to be here... it's too close to the building and moreover the width of this shade is too small. I want you to make it wider" she said to the supervisor and he nodded respectfully.
"Yes ma'am"
"I want this Renovation to start latest, next week. I want to see good changes by the end of next week Mr. I don't want to complain again and..." She paused and stared down at her feet.
She was stepping on something then she raised her leg to see what it was.
It was a squeezed paper.
She picked it up and opened it to have a good look at what was on it. She puzzled when she saw the image of herself on the paper.
Her lips curved to a smile as she stared at the beautiful image. The design was very unique and attractive. Who could have possibly done this?
She thought.
"Uhm...was anyone here earlier today in this spot?" She asked and the supervisor furrowed his eyebrows then shrugged his shoulder.
"I...I don't really know ma'am" he replied and she stared at the image again then she sighted a signature at the edge of the paper.
"Let me have a look the footage" she ordered and he bowed before leading the way back into the company with Beatrice walking behind him with the paper.
After having a proper look at the footage, she realized that it was even a young guy.
"What did he come here for?" She asked curiously
"I don't really know ma...I haven't seen him today" the supervisor replied then she sighed.
"Call the receptionist for me" she said and the receptionist was called upon.
"Do you know him?" She asked pointing at the screen and he furrowed his eyebrows to look at the person properly.
"Oh yes! I do recognize him...he came here early this afternoon for an interview" he replied
"Interview?" She jolted backwards and thought.
That means...
"Where's Mr Richard? He should have an idea on how to contact this guy?" She asked and left to Mr Richard's office.
She walked into his office and he raised his head immediately.
"Ah Miss Beatrice, Good evening Ma'am" He greeted
"And how are you?" She asked with a smile.
"I'm very well thank you. Uhm do you need anything?" He asked
"Yes I do. I guess you interviewed this guy today?" She asked showing him the picture then he scoffed.
"Yes Ma'am but he wasn't given any job, so he is less important" he said and she frowned.
"...and why would you say that? Did you check his CV?" She asked
"Yes Ma'am I did. He studied Art and he claims to be good at drawing, designing, painting and also making comics and he suggested that we should add comics to our production to make more sales" he explained and she rubbed her chin softly.
"Comics? To make more sales? I've never thought of that before" she mumbled to herself and thought for a while.
Adding comics to her production wouldn't be a bad idea and besides his designs are fantastic. He could also help in her movie editions.
Hmm
"Interesting"
"Did he drop any comic book?" She asked and he shrugged.
"No ma'am" he lied then she finally sat down and crossed her leg.
"You're not giving him a second thought are you? Adding comic to our production is a lame idea, we deal with movies remember" He tried to convince her but she paid deaf ears to him.
"You don't have the right to decide for me and there's no 'Our production' this is My production" she said to him coldly and he bowed his head in apologies.
"Forgive me Madam"
"Give him a call and tell him to meet me in my office tomorrow unfailingly" she ordered
"Ma?"
"You heard me"
