Episode 4
Jimmie's pov:
I and Leo were still talking when I received a phone call...
It was an unknown number.
"Leo are you expecting a phone call?" I asked and he glared at me.
"Between the both of us who's expecting a call?" He replied and I sighed before picking up the call.
"Hello"
"Am I on to Jimmie Rodgers?" A man's voice asked and wait a minute...
I recognize that voice.
"Yes sir, it's me, the one you trashed his comic book" I would have replied that way but heaven know that I don't have the conscience to.
"Yes it's me" I replied simply and stared at Leo.
"Alright, You are expected to be at Bea's production tomorrow as early as possible, Miss Beatrice wants to see you" he said and I opened my eyes wide in shock.
"Are you being serious?" I beamed
"If I wasn't serious would I waste my time calling you. Be here by 9am sharp if you like" he rasped at me before hanging up.
Arrogant Man.
I stared at the blank screen with my heart racing for joy.
"So?" Leo asked and I looked at him with a smile.
"Miss Beatrice is requesting for me" I said
"Really? You've gotten the job bro" he replied
"We don't really know yet but at least there's still hope" I said and he chuckled.
"I have a feeling that you've gotten the job already. I'm sure they liked your idea" he said and I furrowed my eyebrows in thoughts.
"Are you sure? This man doesn't seem happy about and beside how did she get to know? He obviously didn't show her any comic book of mine so how?" I asked and rubbed my chin.
"Guess we'll find out tomorrow then" he said and I nodded.
"You know what? I won't stay at your place today again. I want to go home and laugh at my mum" I said and he laughed.
"Don't be a chicken...you better don't celebrate yet, Miss Beatrice just want to see you but I hope it turns out positive. At least don't say anything to your mum yet before she ends up laughing at you" he said and I chuckled.
"Of course"

As at about 25 minutes to nine at night, I got home but mum wasn't around. I wasn't worried though because I know that wherever she went to, she'll still come back.
I slept on the couch immediately after taking my bath then after sometime I woke up again in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.
I heard a noise from the kitchen and I startled. Who was in the kitchen by this time? This is 3am in the morning.
Mum should be in her room so who's there?
I picked the brush for washing the WC and held it firmly. I crept into the kitchen quietly and turned on the light immediately.
"Oh my God!" She forced out.
It was Mum?!
She held her chest in fear and I just stared at her. I scanned her from head to toe and it looked like she was just coming back from somewhere. She obviously came in from the back door.
By this time?
"Hey honey... it's you, you almost gave me a freaking heart attack" she said nervously but I still didn't move or take my eyes off her.
"Where are you coming from by this time?" I asked and folded my arms then she fiddled with the tip of her clothes.
"Oh I ah... I just went out..to see somebody" she stuttered and I narrowed my eyebrows at her.
"Dressed like that?" I added staring at her skeptically and she just stared down at herself.
When did my power ranger Mum start acting like a naive being?
"I've you been going to the club acting as a slut?" I asked coldly with a frown.
"Listen son..."
"Answer me!" I yelled at her and she shook in fear.
"I've you been a p********e?" I brought down my voice a little bit and she sniffed.
"Yes! Yes I am" she forced out and began to sob then I rubbed my eye with my fingers.
"Listen that was the only way I could to provide for the both of us till this moment" she replied with a whisper and I stared at her unbelievably.
"Till this moment?" I furrowed my eyebrows at her and she just wept.
"So you've been a slut even before I was born? How am I sure I'm not an unfortunate child? The baby you couldn't abort?" I rasped at her angrily and she stared at me apologetically.
"No baby..."
"Just shut up Mum! No wonder I don't have a father, you never talked about him, you never told me anything because there were a million of them" I rasped with so much pain she just shook her head negatively as tears rolled down her cheek.
"You know what? I would be very happy to beat my chest and tell everyone that my Mother was a Maid...Not a shameless p********e. You disgust me" I huffed and walked away from the kitchen.
"Jimmie please let me explain" she pleaded as she followed me behind but scared to touch me.
"Stay away from me" I walked into the toilet and locked the door.
"Jimmie please" she knocked on the door but I didn't reply instead I just sat there on the toilet sit.

Vivian - Jimmie's Mum kept crying and pleading for him to come out but he refused. She felt so bad and terrible as she sat on the floor for about an hour then she left.
Jimmie stayed in the bathroom till the day broke. He felt shattered and sad because he knew his mum was hiding a lot of things from him. He wasn't even ready to listen to all the secret she was yet to unravel.
He took his bath right there in the bathroom before coming out. He prepared to leave the house to Beatrice company that early because he wasn't ready to talk to his mum.
He dressed cooperatively before brushing his dark curly hair. I packed his bag and then hug it on his shoulder.
Another day again...I hope this meeting end good...
He thought.
Although he's mood wasn't bright but he knew where to go to brighten his mood...
Leo!
I wore his snickers and held his phone before dashing out of the room.
He met his mum at the dinning table and when she saw him, she stood up immediately but he raised his hand, giving a sign not to come any closer.
"Jimmie please just listen to me. Let's just sit and talk okay? I made your favourite for breakfast" she said with a rueful smile.
Now she cared about him eating before leaving.
But too bad he already lost his appetite. He just stared at the food on the dinning table with disgust and left the house without saying a word.
Vivian slumped on the chair and cried profusely, wishing she had explained everything to him earlier.
"I'm so sorry Jimmie. Why can't you just listen to me? You are behaving like your father" she mumbled to herself as she cried.
