Episode 31-Body escape

“So what are we going to do?” Prince Sapphire was asked immediately after he relayed the queen’s orders to the whole rebellion community who were hiding under the soil.

“To be honest I…don’t know yet. I haven’t quite figured a way to free the others out yet. Even if we did get them out of where they are locked up, I haven’t quite figured a way to create another pathway through mother’s defensive barrier around the capital. We’ll still be trapped in here if I don’t figure it out and speaking of another way, we are still unable to retrieve my sister’s body from the ancient ground, we aren’t going anywhere without that body” Sapphire worried running his hands through his hair as he watched everyone who were seated on a earth-made benches which the Geo family members have made for the gathering.

“Vera might have no idea we were going to steal the princess body but the bastard prince knows, he had shadows watching the grounds as we speak. It’s too dangerous to try-

“What can you boys do without me?” Saph heard voice that was just too similar to his mother's while Opal was pushed right into the gathering and right before he could find the way to both their feet they gasped out loud as they feel their phoenix spirits immediately awakened in them, they might not be twins but their phoenix spirits were connected somehow and that’s why Saph never had his phoenix spirit until his brother was born and now that they are together again, their power overflowed in them

“Hello boys” The queen greeted and every member, every angel in every corner of the underground space they made fall to their knees to pay respect to their one and only queen.

“Mother” Saph called walking into the crowd and forward to the queen who was now looking radiant as ever.

“I heard” He muttered timidly with hint of sympathy in his voice but the queen was unmoved and unfazed.

“Losing my child, made me stronger…so, I cannot watch all this nonsense go on any further…soon, all my times of studying her I realise she’s a gifted demon like someone we knew” The queen gave a knowing look that had Saph sighing.

“Karl” He mentioned and the queen affirmed with a slight nod.

“But I bought us some time by setting into her mind some uncertainties that will make her question herself if her fusion was ever possible and before she realise she could fuse both her unallied sides we would have been out of here because it’s far too dangerous after that. She’ll be unstoppable after that, only then will she be able to kill a pure soul without her powers getting tainted and before we even let that happen, we have to get out of here” The queen emphasised and the prince nodded.

“It’s just mother we might have a slight problem in our hands-

“I know and that’s why I am here to solved those problems for you the rest of the angel’s royal family and ally are waiting by the new path I made, the Lolinth road in the Zoa family’s district, I want you to take your man and head there. I will retrieve my daughter’s body-

“But mother you can’t go alone” Opal protested standing from where he sat, his hand had marks of where he had also being changed, bruised and injured, for a prince of the most powerful angel Family he was looking quite tattered, it wasn’t hard to guess that he was mercilessly tortured.

“And that’s why you are going with me; that way you can take a little revenge on what they had done with him-

“Actually nothing will satisfy me yet than killing that son of a devil, Claus…mother give me the permission-

“Not yet, that’s Vera’s greatest weakness, it’s because of him she hasn’t fused yet with him gone it will made her fuse faster, and we might not have enough time to get anybody out. I will hide Angelique’s body myself…now lead your man to the old city. Opal, be sure to keep up” With that the queen slowly got transparent and eventually disappeared into the light. Opal met his brother’s eyes and smile before doing the same and joining their mother at the angel ancient ground where it was crawling with demons and as Angelite suspected they were going after the body.

“What do you boys think you’re doing?” The queen asked walking amongst the shadow into the front of princess Angelique’s tomb, Princess Angelique’s dragon was in chain and his body which was trapped inside a glass, sleeping peacefully, her skin and hair white like snow including her lashes.

“You will not disturb my daughter” The queen’s eyes glowed with light, colour of the sun and Opal had to bury himself in his own light, he was the only one who took after his mother’s powers but still he wasn’t strong enough to absorb or look into her when she take her light form. Like a loud balloon busting every shadow around started to burst as her light instantly filled the whole ground.

“Mother” Opal groaned in protest as she had taken all the fun, since there were no demons left for him to kill.

“Sorry Opal, I just didn’t want to waste much of our time, together we will lure Vera’s soldier’s out of the city with us…her mate his smart so he might figure that out so…I created a decoy but we’ll talk about that later right now I have to get this body out-

“But mother, where will you take it?” Opal asked wondering why his mother didn’t want to take his sister’s body to the old city than a place different.

“It’s too dangerous, also I need it to be in my possession so right now you will lead the casket behind me” The queen on saying that busted Unique’s chains and the dragon whimpered before the queen moved to it rubbing down it’s icy looking scale carefully.

“You’ve waited quite a long time isn’t it? Don’t worry…soon” The queen soothed controlling the glass casket to the dragon’s back.

“Now we must leave, I already sense Vera coming” With that the queen slowly lead the dragon out of the grounds and into the sky.
