Angelique was still walking the streets with no idea were she was going but she needed a safe place to sleep that way she would be able to communicate with her sister but she was starting to feel real tired.
“Stupid human body! So weak” She cursed under her breath as she dragged her tired feet up the stairs of a public building, she tried to stay hidden as much as she could before she eventually found a spot. It was the store room of the fourth floor of the building. It was pretty dusty and cramped up but it was the perfect place for her, grabbing a dusting broom that were placed among the many cleaning material in the room. She dusted off the floor before laying there and getting herself comfortable so she could actually communicate with her sister.
Angelique after she was certain the door was locked from behind fall into a slow slumber sprawled on the floor with her head facing the ceiling. Helen had seem to have build a strong resistant to her but she still managed to draw her into her own sub-consciousnesses.
“I really hope you’d stop doing that” Helen gritted immediately she popped right into the void space which was full of nothing but white spread out area.
“I wish it doesn’t have to come to this as well but I think the demon figured Crystal is my shell, they’ve being targeting her; they’ve tried to kill her countless times time, I have to get her out of her house after it seems that they have surrounded the place.
“What?” Helen had a panicking expression on her face as she stared at the strange look of her sister.
“Where are you right now then?” Helen requested.
“I’m in the public reserve building, it’s not that far away from Crystal’s house, that’s how far I can get her” Angelique responded but suddenly spit out blood before she held her heart.
“Wait? What’s wrong?” Helen questioned but Angeliqe had weakened and she couldn’t really keep her out of her conciseness anymore…she slowly faded with a look of worry and panic spread over her face as she kept watching her sister spit blood as she slowly fade her away. Angelique opened her eyes to see a giant moth demon stinging her while she continue to spit blood…her hands strayed looking for anything to fend the demon off before he successfully kill her. Finally her hands draw at the fluffy end of a mop which she manage to grab and poke the moth with, after which she struggled to her feet and grab a steel edge of cobweb brush and stick it into the demon’s act before he could rush her down, the heavy creature fell on her but she rolled it away from her and struggled back to her feet. Her body started to grow weak because of the poison that was now running in her veins, she made laboured steps out of the store room towards the elevator which was by the end of the hallway but she heard footsteps hurrying behind her, she turned and realize three demons were following her.
She tried to walk faster but her body was growing heavier by the seconds, too heavy for her legs to carry.
Crystal groaned with every single steps she carried as she felt a pain of being eaten from the window, her own blood suddenly felt like an acid under her own skin and she wished she could tear away the skin that covers her bones perhaps her acidic blood will drain out and then she will be able to find a moment of peace; both for Crystal and Angelique, that was the greatest pain they had ever gone through and it was maddening. The urge to rip open her own skin grow and she started to scrap her skin but Angelique knew that was actually what the poison was all about, the poison will not necessarily kill you…but force you to rip yourself apart and bled yourself out.
“Crystal, I know it’s hard for you to withstand the pain right now but I want you to trust me, we’ll do this together” Angelique muttered out loud since she was still in control of Crystal's body. Instead of taking the anger out on herself and ripping the skin open, she suddenly stopped struggling to get away from the demons behind him. She turned her pain into strength and trick her brain into thinking she will find ease after the demons behind her was gone, the hallway was empty but there were CCTV camera’s around, the one she refused to give a second glance after the pain become so unbearable, it had now escalated from being an acid under her skin to a pure lava…she was freaking hot and the pain seems to be clouding all her other senses.
Crystal breath becomes laboured and heavy as she waited for the demons behind her to attack and soon they did, they were demons that were pretty easy to get rid off; Angelique had spent almost her entire life hunting demons so she knew most demons vital points, she just have to find it and hit them on the spot, two of the demons that had attacked him were vulnerable to metal so, Crystal removed the keys that were inside her pocket and started to poke him with it, so hard that it perforated their skin, their skin immediately start to react to the reaction caused by metals on them, after making five wholes into their skin, they started disintegrating alive.
The last demon was a demon that feeds on birds, his weakest point was the two horns that resided on his head so, he aimed for that, she was already so weak so instead of relying on her strength to break off the horns after she successfully got her hands on it. She draw the demon to the wall and force her to collide into it breaking off her two horns almost instantly but she collapsed almost immediately breathing heavily as the pain took of the best of her. Through her blurry vision she was able to make out the images of shadow demons hovering over her; Crystal instantly gave up fighting, the pain was unbearable, she felt hot tears trail down from the corner of her eyes as she watched the five to six demons transformed from just a puff of smoke into humans but before they could lay their hands on her a light so bright shined from the end of the hallway bursting all the shadows into dusts.
“Child” She heard a soft call from a very familiar voice but she thought it couldn’t be as she slowly fall into slumber.
Angelique found herself lost in her own memories, a strange thing but it actually happened, she couldn’t seem to get herself out of the terrible maze made by her own memories but she wasn't worrying about herself at this point, she was worried for Crystal.
Crystal’s eyes slowly opened to the bright light that flooded her surrounding, she was in a comfortable bed but strange room. The room was simple yet classic; there was a sofa-chair facing the window. The door to the toilet opposite the bed and there was a big comfy sofa not too far from the door. ‘Nice’ Crystal declared within herself before standing up, she was in nothing but a baggy t-shirt with the loggo ‘hey’ on it. Crystal continue to examine her surrounding and she realised it had really strange scenery.
“Where am I?” she muttered to herself before heading towards the door. She hesitated in turning the doorknob but she eventually did. She found herself in a very long hallway which walls were painted white, there were doors to different room along the way but she kept walking down the hallway until she arrived at a landing that seems to be in the middle of the hallway, the hallway led right and left and she was heading down from the left…glancing down to the sitting room she found about four people talking two which looked very familiar.
“Morgan?” She called and everyone sitting instantly glanced up her direction, she instantaneously drown in embarrassment as different pairs of new eyes set on her.
“Quickly, inform the princess that the human is awake” A guy with strange cap on his head urged and they immediately set to answer him as the young petite girl who was looking oddly familiar among them race out.
“Why would they call me that? The human!” Crystal scoffed before a familiar guy joined them, he had appeared from a corner one which was not quite visible from the landing where she stood but she knew the guy, he was Helen’s boyfriend Alex.
“Crystal” Helen’s voice resounded as she rushed in with two woman behind her. The two woman was sure older than her but she had strange resemblances to the woman standing in a white overflowing gown, she was the true definition of beauty; her shimmering blonde hair was so long that she kept wondering how someone alone could be gifted with such elegance and beauty at the same time. Crystal’s eyes were fixed on the woman that she didn’t discern that Helen was now in front of her until she squeezed her tight in a warm hug.
“For a second I thought you wouldn't make it” Helen heaved a heavy sigh before she set her free from her strong hold.
“Oh, that reminded me…I almost died” Crystal frowned looking down to her bandaged hand.
“You’re okay now-
“Does that mean Angelique is okay too?” Helen was quite taken aback by her question but she forced her a smile and respond.
“Yes, since you’re okay now she’s also okay”
“That’s a relief, she was controlling my body most of the time so I don’t really know what happened, most of the memories are vague but she seem to be trying to keep me out of danger until we were poisoned while she was trying to communicate with you…that was the most terrifying time of my entire life but I’m just glad we are both okay now” Crystal smiled but Helen chuckled.
“Didn’t know you and my sister have formed such a bond in such a short time, anyway…there’s someone I would like you to meet” Helen led Crystal down while she was trying not to meet anyone’s eyes in the living room, it was obvious to her that they were all angels.
“Meet my mom” Helen introduced her to the woman who at the moment was the most gorgeous thing Crystal had ever laid her eyes on but instead of showing excitement, Crystal moved back, staring at her in shock and fear, she was suddenly terrified.
