Author’s POV
Reese was about to slip his hand into her p***y when a knock on the door brought them out of their moment.
“Is any one in there? Hello? Why on earth is this door locked?” They both froze on the bed as the voice kept twisting and turning the door knob. Reese’s body stiffened when he recognized the voice behind the door to be his mother’s. He looked around and finally realized where they were.
This was his mother’s room.
“f**k!” He immediately got up from the bed and grabbed Blaze’s arm. Her face was red but it wasn’t because of the lady behind the door. It was from the embarrassment of what has happened between them a few minutes ago
“That’s my mother. I won’t hear the last of it if she catches me here.” He says and walks to the window to be sure that there was no one outside. Once he confirmed that the coast was clear, he turned to Blaze.
“Jump and leave the palace. I’ll handle my mother. Go to my house at the city, I’ll meet you there.” He said and she nodded before jumping through the window. It was a high jump but they both knew the powers she possessed so that was nothing for her.
As soon as Blaze was out of sight, Reese quickly opened the door and was met with a furious queen. She had been wondering who would have locked her room from the inside.
“I had a feeling it was you. What in the seven kingdoms are you even doing here?!” She cried, hitting his arm with her fragile hands.
Reese immediately put on his joker face as he quickly thought of a lie.
“I was sleeping, mother. My room suddenly lacked warmth.” He lied, putting on a sober expression.
The lie seemed to be working perfectly well because his mother instantly got worried and in two seconds, she was calling the attention of the maids.
“Why is the heat in the prince’s room not enough? It’s really cold this season, I don’t expect his room to lack heat. Is that clear?” She warned and they all bowed, exchanging glances between themselves.
They knew without a doubt that the heat in his room was more than enough and that he was lying but they wouldn’t dare tell the queen that.
“You can stay in my room while they get your room in order. I need to go speak with your father.” His mother said, dropping a jug on her table as she turned to leave but Reese quickly grabbed her, sensing trouble.
“Why? Is everything alright?” He asked and the queen sighed. Turning to face him with a worried expression.
“Your father has become a mad man looking for the Ace wolf. He has captured every red haired woman in the city and is torturing them.” She explained and his eyes widened.
He expected this much from his father but hearing that he was actually doing it, scared him.
“This madness has to stop! He is hurting his own people because of his quest to find that Ace wolf. I’m going to try and talk him out of it.” She said and suddenly raised her face to him.
“You should talk to him too. Get more in like in the affairs of the Kingdom, Reese. It is because you keep acting this way he doesn’t see you worthy enough to be king. Prove yourself worthy and become king. We need you to save us from the hands of your father.” The queen pleaded with him and walked out of the room.
Reese wanted to go after his mother and accompany her to see the king but he decided to go after Blaze instead and get her out of the kingdom.

“He’s the biggest fool if he thinks I’m actually going to leave this Palace without achieving my goal.” Blaze muttered as she went back into the palace. She was bent on finding the King’s room. Maybe then, she would find out where her mother is being kept.
“Anika? What are doing here? I thought the prince took you earlier?” Becky, the maid from earlier said with a scornful expression as she eyed Blaze up and down.
She was trying to understand why the prince would want her?
‘What could he want from her?’ She wondered and the idea that the prince liked Blaze and probably wanted her body came to her mind but she shook it away.
‘Reese isn’t one to lust after women. She’s probably the one seducing him.’ She thought.
“Oh, we’re done already.” Blaze said nonchalantly, wondering if she could ask Becky where the King’s room was located.
As the words left Blaze’s mouth, Becky gritted her teeth in anger and was about to charge at Blaze when she interrupted her.
“Do you know where the king’s room is? I was asked to pick something up but I have no idea where it is?” She lied.
Becky got even more furious at this. Only Mrs Beckett, the head maid was allowed to go in there so why the hell was this new girl being allowed to go in?
“People like you aren’t allowed in there?” She spat bitterly and Blaze didn’t need anyone to tell her that the lady didn’t exactly like her.
Good thing she knew just how to deal with people like her.
“I’m sorry but don’t you mean people like YOU? The prince just spoke to me earlier and I was asked to go get something from the king on his behalf!” Another lie left her lips but this time around, she was doing it to put Becky in her place.
Becky’s eyes widened at her statement. She couldn’t believe that the prince would ask her of all people to go to the king on his behalf.
Now, she was sure they had something going on.
“Now, will you tell me where the king’s room is located or do you want me to tell the prince that you disobeyed a direct order from him?” There was a victorious smirk on her face as Becky opened her mouth and she ran in the direction she gave her.
When she got to the huge golden door just as Becky had directed, she noticed that the door was opened and voices could he heard from the inside so she quickly hid behind a wall and listened to the conversation.
“You cannot keep capturing all our people and throwing in the dungeon, my king! The red haired woman isn’t in this kingdom. Even if she is, don’t you think it will be hard to catch her with the powers she possesses?” A voice said and Blaze concluded that it was the queen.
She couldn’t think of any other person who would dare speak to the king with such tone.
“I’ll find her, Indiana. I’ll capture every red haired in the damn world if I must. You just worry about your son.” A deep and low voice said calmly, sending chills across Blaze’s spine.
“That’s the king.” Her wolf, Anika whispered and she nodded, leaning further.
“Alright. But, release the innocent ones from the dungeon at least. Those wolves from the outlands are really dangerous and could kill our people at any time. We shouldn’t be keeping them together.” The queen said and Blaze stiffened.
“The dungeon.” She whispered with an evil smirk.
“Mother is in the dungeon!”
