Joshua’s POV:
As they escorted Erica and Aaron away, I felt anger boil inside me. I knew there was more to this story, and I was going to find out what. I looked over at the council members. Evans looked nervous, and I wondered why. Alpha Leo quickly walked over to me, he was an old friend and I trusted him.
“Joshua, you're going to have to calm down and play by their rules, until we can discover what’s happening here, because if I am sure of one thing, it’s that the council is somehow involved. I have suspected their interference for a while now.”
I grind my teeth together “I don’t think I can do this.”
He slapped his hand on my shoulder, “You have no choice, but be assured we will discover their plans, and then we can finally be rid of the council and their interference.”
