About thirty minutes later, the car arrived in front of the Hamilton Military General Hospital. Reximus and Kennedy got out of the car and entered the hospital. They went straight to the department where Dr Ayana Hendrix was assigned.
When they found her, she was checking the patients inside the ward. Kennedy approached the young doctor while Reximus only stayed back and looking at her from afar.
"Hi, doctor. You look busy." Ken talked to her kindly.
"Owh, hi Mr Hoffman. I didn't know you were admitted to our hospital." She sounded surprised but gave him a wide smile.
"Owh actually I'm just visiting, with my friend." He replied and then pointed his hand to Reximus who was walking randomly around the ward.
"Owh... General Reximus was here. It's an honour for higher-level officers like both of you to visit our hospital. So what's the occasion? Why with the sudden visit?" Dr Ayana started to feel a bit nervous with the presence of the General of the Army himself.
"Well, we just wanted to look around. Nothing much. Just for fun," Ken said with a wink.
Dr Ayana chuckled at his naughty action. Kennedy realized that the young doctor seems to glance at Reximus a lot. Sometimes, she smiled without realizing it.
"So tell me, Mr Hoffman. You knew the General for a very long time. Do you know who his parents were? Is he related to the Supreme Leader?" Dr Ayana suddenly asked out of the blue.
Ken was shocked by that question but he remained calm on the outside.
"Well, why do you want to know?" He tried to avoid answering.
The truth was no one knew that Reximus was the only son of the Supreme Leader, Marshall Hamilton. His identity was kept secret. Only those who served in the higher-level military positions knew about him. That includes himself and Dr Ayana's father. But it was kept as a major secret for security reasons, so Dr Ayana must not know it.
"I'm just wondering why he got to be the General at that young age. Even my father himself after serving the military for years only become the Lieutenant General, which is below him. So I was just wondering if he had any relationship with the Supreme Leader himself." Dr Ayana explained.
Of course, many had that doubt too. But then, all those rumours will be cleared off sooner so Kennedy wasn't worried about it anyway. After the Supreme Leader retired, Reximus would take his father's place and the public will be known about his existence and his real identity.
"Isn't it weird? People keep calling him General Reximus referring to his first name, but no one knows his last name." Dr Ayana asked again.
Ken with his blur face shrugged his shoulders pretending he didn't know.
"Anyway, since you asked something so personal about him, I wanted to ask you something too."
Dr Ayana look puzzled by Ken's word. "What is it?" She asked.
"Do you like him?" Ken's question put Dr Ayana in embarrassment. Her cheeks were blushing. She cupped both her cheeks using her hands and said, "Is it too obvious?" Both of them chuckled.
Reximus looked at them from afar. His friend seems to have fun talking with Dr Ayana. He didn't feel anything about it. After all, he didn't think he had feelings towards that woman. So, he just let them be. After a few minutes, he looked at his watch and then looked up at Kennedy. When the guy looked back at him, he signalled Kennedy to leave with him.

"So, who's next? Melissa?" Ken asked Reximus as soon as they walked out from Dr Ayana's department. Reximus shook his head.
"The nurse. She's at the Military Health Center, right? The building should be at the East Wing of the Hospital." Reximus replied.
"I knew where it is. I used to go there a lot during our training years at the Fighter Hall. But, aren't you going to meet Melissa first?" Ken asked with curiosity rolling in his eyes.
"No. We knew her since our college years. I met her a lot back then. I don't think I have any interest in her." Reximus refused.
It was true actually. Melissa Miller was one of their juniors during college. She always hanging out with Ken a lot back then, since she's learning to become a lawyer and Ken's parents happened to be lawyers as well. So they got close easily. Reximus on the other hand, only met her several times when Ken invited him to hang out together. But Reximus was not the type of person that got close too easily with women so he never really talked with Melissa in person. But he did know her personality and he thought that she wasn't his type after all. So, why bother wasting his time meeting her?
"You know... just now when I'm having a small talk with Ayana back there, she actually likes you a lot," Ken told Rex suddenly.
Their feet were walking slowly towards the Military Health Center.
"She did?" Reximus turned to look at Ken and Ken nodded at him as an answer.
"I don't know... She's not really my type." Reximus felt reluctant about her.
"Why? What is it about her that you don't like specifically?" Ken couldn't help but wonder.
"She's too sexy and too revealing. It bothers me when I see a woman flirting a lot with guys. I feel disgusted by the thought of it." Reximus explained.
"You are so weird sometimes," Ken replied with a chuckled.
Reximus look at him with dissatisfaction, as if demanding him to explain.
"You don't like sexy women. You don't talk to women. You don't go on a date. You don't have any relationship with a woman before unless it was your mom. You basically hate women. Are you gay?"
Reximus couldn't help but chuckle at his words. Then he turned serious again.
"It's not that I hate women. It's just that I don't find the one that suits my taste." Reximus clarified him.
"What's your type anyway?" Ken asked in curiosity.
"Hmm... just the sincere and innocent one," Reximus replied.
'Let see if that nurse could fit your taste,' Kennedy thought as he looked into his best friend face.

As soon as they reached the Health Center, Reximus spotted Nara immediately. She was doing her job, treating wounded soldiers that came from the Fighter Hall. She looked very simple and innocent.
Occasionally, she smiled at the soldiers that greeted her or talked to her. Most of the men seem attracted to her. They all staring at her in adoration. 'This woman didn't realize how beautiful and attractive she is,' Reximus thought.
"She got a lot of admirers," Ken said out of the blue.
Seemed like he also noticed the attention that Nara got from the soldiers that came to the Health Center. Reximus kept silent and still staring at her.
"Too bad. You got a lot of competitors." Ken laughed while looking at Reximus whose eyes were fixed on Nara.
"Shut it," he ordered Ken firmly.
But Ken still giggling a bit, trying to hold back his laughter.
She was stunning. She may not be as sexy or elegant as most of the elite women would be, but she had her own charms. The way she spoke and acted or reacted was very special in its own way. Reximus couldn't help but felt tempted by her charming personality.
Just then she suddenly gazed at him, he quickly turned around nervously as if he was getting caught making something inappropriate. Kennedy laughed at him who looked so indecent.
"Why are you so nervous over her gaze? It's not like she knows who you are," He was mocking Reximus.
Reximus looked at him in annoyance.
"How long are you going to stalk her? I need to be at the Military Base right now. I am not so free like you are." Ken added with a wicked smile on his face.
"Just go then. I know how to get home on my own." Reximus replied with a stern face.
"Okay then. Don't stalk her too much. You might have troubles sleeping at night..." he whispered wickedly before leaving Reximus who still watching Nara from afar. Reximus just chuckled at his words.
