I have been waiting to see Alex and Ember but I am starting to get anxious. I want to tell them who is responsible for them losing their pup. Brie told me I need to wait a few more days before telling them so they can grieve but it's eating at me. I want to know if I had a niece or nephew. I want to know how old he or she was and I want to know if my brother and sister-in-law are ok. I waited on Brie to take a nap before I slipped out of the room. I headed down to the pack hospital. I only wanted to check on them. When I got to the nurse's station, A nurse asked who I was there to see and I said Alexander and Ember. She looked at the computer and then back at me. She said she was sorry but Alexander and Ember were released 2 days ago. I said thank you and left. When I got back to the packhouse, I went upstairs and hesitated on if I should knock on their door. I'm sure if I did, Brie would hear it and wake up then chew me out for not listening to her. I sighed and went back to our room.
Brie slept for almost 2 hours and when she woke up, she started yelling at me. I asked what I did to get yelled at and she told me she was in pain. I told her to lay back down and see if it helped but she ended up smacking me in the back of the head. She said,
"Get my bag and get me to Doctor Morris nitwit."
I asked why she needed to go see Doctor Morris and she said,
"Oh, I don't know Van maybe the fact that our pup is coming now."
I jumped up and grabbed her bag and mind-linked Alpha Hardin to let him know our pup was coming. He said he would notify Doctor Morris that we were on our way. I tried to mind-link Alex while we were on our way to the pack hospital but he still had his block up. I sent him a text as soon as we got to the hospital but got no reply. As soon as Brie was hooked up to the monitors, Alpha Hardin and Luna Aspen came into the room to check on us. Brie was having a contraction and Luna Aspen sat with her and helped her through it. I knew now wasn't really the time but I was fighting a battle in my head on if I should tell Alpha Hardin who tripped Ember. He must have noticed I was spaced out and he asked me to step out of the room with him. When we walked out into the waiting area, He asked what was going on in my head and I said, Alpha, I know now isn't the time but I need to tell you who tripped Ember. I found out a few days ago and Alex is unreachable right now for me to tell him. He said,
"It's probably best if neither of them knows who is responsible at this moment. I don't know what all you know about what is going on with Alexander and Ember at this moment but I am glad you came to me first."
I said I don't know much only assuming they lost their pup. He nodded his head and asked who was responsible. I told him it was Myah. He raised his brow and asked if I meant Myah as in Daphanie's friend Myah. I told him yes. It was the same Myah and she was messed up on some stuff. He asked how I knew who did it and I told him one of the Omega's saw it happen and told me who. I don't think anyone was aware that Ember was pregnant though. So that's why no one has come forward except me. He told me he was going to deal with Myah and asked if I knew the name of the Omega so he could get an official statement from her. I told him I believed her name was Ashlin. He told me thank you for letting him know and then told me to get back to my mate. I went back into the room with Brie and Luna Aspen and I could see the confused expression on the Luna's face. I told her he had to leave due to an Alpha-related issue. She nodded and went back to helping Brie breathe through the contractions.
Doctor Morris came in to check Brie and said she was at 6cm and everything looked good on the monitors. I asked how long it could take and she laughed and said,
"Mr. Tiffin, with giving birth, there is no definite time frame. It could be in the next 10 minutes or the next 8 hours. It just depends on Brie's body and the pup."
I told her thank you and she walked out of the room. I sat there watching my mate in pain for close to 7 hours when Doctor Morris told Brie it was time to push. Luna Aspen stepped aside and told me to stand next to Brie and hold her hand and I did what she told me to do. Brie pushed for close to 30 minutes before we heard the most amazing little sound. Our boy crying. Doctor Morris took him to check him out and said he weighed 9lbs 4oz and was 21 inches long. She asked if we had a name picked out for him and I said Brie wants his first name to be Faulkner and I want his middle name to be Khristian after my father. Doctor Morris held him up and said hello Faulkner Khristian Tiffin. She brought him over to the bed and laid him in Brie's arms. After Luna Aspen left Brie and I laid on her bed in awe over our pup.
