When I got done with training, I headed home to take a shower. I decided to head to green moon after lunch. I didn't want to show up at Mr. and Mrs. Tifton's too early to ask Wisteria out on another date. After I got out of the shower, I put on a pair of jeans and decided to wait to put my shirt on so it wouldn't be wrinkled by the time I left. I sat down on my couch and turned the tv on and found a movie to watch. I fell asleep and when I woke up and looked at the time it was 2 p.m. I grabbed my shirt and put it on and headed out the door to head to green moon.
When I got to green moon, I greeted the gate guard Zeke and told him I was here to see Wisteria and asked him not to announce my arrival. He looked at me with a worried expression and I laughed and said she didn't know I was coming to see her. I am going to ask her out on a second date. He smiled and said he understood and opened the gate for me. As I was driving up to the packhouse I saw Aspen and Wisteria heading inside with the pups. I decided to hang back and wait on them to get inside before surprising them. Once they had entered the packhouse, I got out of the car and headed inside behind them. I cleared my throat and said hey sis. Hey Wisteria. Both of them turned around at the same time and Silas yelled "DAY". he struggled to get out of Aspen's arms to get to me. I walked over and took him from her and gave him a hug. I carried him up the stairs for her and then sat him on the floor in the suite. Aspen asked what I was doing at green moon and I said I was there to see the pups and Wisteria. Aspen gave me a look and I laughed and said fine. I am here to see everyone. I chatted with Aspen and played with the pups for a few minutes before Aspen put them down for their nap. Wisteria and I left the suite and I asked if we could go for a walk. She said that was fine with her and we headed to the clearing where we went to talk the first time I asked her out.
We sat down on the ground and I could tell she was nervous. I told her to relax I just wanted to talk. She relaxed a little and asked what I wanted to talk about. I said our date. She said,
"Oh. I'm sorry if you didn't enjoy it. I know it was something new to both of us."
I chuckled and said I did enjoy it Wisteria. That's why I am here. I wanted to know if you wanted to go out with me again on Friday? She smiled and said she would ask her parents if she could. I asked her for her number so that way we could text and she put it in my phone. I sent her a heart emoji and she smiled and blushed. I said so, I noticed Aspen's got some bags under her eyes. Wisteria looked at me and said,
"She is really tired. The triplets have been wearing her out. I had to help Anna this afternoon because they wouldn't get dressed and I ended up having to bribe them with cookies when we took them to Aspen.."
I laughed and said sounds about right for Silas. I wonder why the girls are giving her trouble. She smiled and asked if I had to be back home any time soon. I told her I didn't and asked why? She started blushing and said,
"I was thinking maybe we could hang out for a bit and maybe you could teach me how to kiss." she put her hands over her face as soon as she finished saying that.
I pulled her hands away and said you don't have to be embarrassed, Wisteria. I don't mind you asking questions like that. If you want me to I have no problem teaching you. I may be more experienced than you are but I am new to the dating thing and new to being with someone who isn't as experienced. How about this, When we go out Friday, I will take you back up to the spot we first kissed and I will teach you how to kiss. She blushed and said,
"Ok. can you teach me how to french kiss? I never could understand how people kissed with each other's tongues in their mouths."
I chuckled and said I will teach you Friday if you still want me to. She said ok and I asked if she was ready to go back. She told me yeah that it would probably be best and said she couldn't wait until Friday. She leaned in and kissed my cheek. I felt that sensation and I instantly thought about Aspen and the pups and sure enough that helped. I smiled and I walked her back home.
I went up to see Aspen and the pups before heading home and ran into Hardin and Jakob when I walked through the packhouse door. Hardin asked what I was doing here and I told him I came to ask Wisteria out again and he asked about how our first date went. I told him it went well. I told him about our dinner and told him we went and sat overlooking the view and talked. He raised his brow at me and I said I swear I didn't do anything. Jakob busted out laughing and said,
"You mine as well get used to Hardin giving you a hard time kid. Hell, I am married to Anna and he still gives me a hard time."
Hardin asked if I had already spoken to Wisteria and I told him I had just walked her home and was coming to say bye to Aspen and the pups. He said,
Why don't you stay for dinner tonight? We are going out because your sister is craving Chinese food. You want to come with us?"
I said if it's ok with Aspen then sure. He said,
"I am sure she would love to have you come with us. She misses home and I think this would put a smile on her face."
I said Ok I'm in. Hardin's eyes clouded over and I figured he was mind-linking Aspen to let her know but as soon as he ended the mind-link Jakob nodded and left. Hardin and I walked up to their suite and The pups attacked me as soon as I walked in. Aspen busted out laughing and then smiled at me. I haven't seen her smile like that in a while and even though we had our problems it made me feel good inside to see her smile.
