{Wisteria}

Today is Dayton's birthday and I am on my way to the mall with Aspen to see if I can find him a gift. I asked Aspen what she thought Dayton would like and she said from what she knew about her brother from before she left and even now he likes shoes and he likes clothes. I stared at her for a moment and she asked why I was looking at her. I asked her how I was supposed to get him either of those things if I didn't know what brand or size to get him. She laughed and said she would help me pick something out. We walked around for a while and went into 4 different stores but with each one Aspen shook her head. After walking around for hours we stopped in front of the athletic store. She smiled and we went inside. She pulled out her phone and texted someone and a few minutes later she got a reply and she smiled at me. She told me he wore a size 9 ½ in shoes and he wore a large in shirts and a medium in shorts. We looked around and Aspen found a pair of Adidas shorts that would be perfect for Dayton for training and I found the matching shirt. We went to look at the shoes and I saw a nice grey pair of Adidas that were actually on sale so they were in my budget along with the shirt and shorts. Aspen picked up a pack of Adidas socks to go with the outfit. I stared at her for a moment and sighed. She looked at me and told me to worry about the cost she would take care of everything. I told her I couldn't ask her to do that and she smiled and told me she wanted to do it for her little sister. I nodded and we headed to the checkout. When the guy at the register rang everything up, I was surprised to see that I actually didn't go over budget because the shirt and shorts were on sale as well.

I tried to pay Aspen the money back but she kept telling me not to worry about it. I told her I felt bad for her paying for the gift I was going to give her brother and she said to think of it as a p*****t for helping with the triplets. When we got back to the packhouse, Aspen said she had a bag and some tissue paper in her room she could give me to put Dayton's gifts in. We headed upstairs and when we got to her room, we could hear the pups screaming. Aspen quickly opened the door and what we saw was pure chaos. Hardin was running around chasing a butt nakey Silas and Juniper and Cassia were pulling wipes out and throwing them everywhere. It looked like a tornado went through their suite and went for the diapers and wipes. Aspen and I both burst out laughing at what we were watching. The girls noticed us first and both froze. Juniper had a wipe in her hand and just stared at Aspen as if she was a statue sitting there. Silas rounded the couch close to us and as soon as his little nakey self sensed Aspen he stopped dead in his tracks and looked up. MAMA. Aspen put her hand on her hip.

"It looks like a babynado went through our suite. Hardin Tifton, Can you not handle your own pups while I am away?" Aspen yelled out.

"My love, are you sure they are our pups and not demon babies? They have been out of control since you pulled out of the gate. It's like they know when you are far enough away and they turn into these little demons. I have been chasing Silas for almost an hour to try and put a diaper on him." Hardin said back to her.

"Hardin, did you say he has been without a diaper for an hour?" Aspen asked.

Hardin nodded his head and Aspen stared at him waiting to see if he caught on to why she asked. Of course, he didn't and Aspen sighed. I started laughing.

"Hardin, Aspen asked because she thinks Silas is ready to be potty trained." I said trying to help my brother out.

"Oh sh*t. I didn't even think of that."

Sit Sit Sit Sit all 3 of the pups said. Aspen looked at Hardin and his eyes widened. He knew he was about to catch the wrath of a mad mama wolf. Aspen handed me the bag and tissue paper and as I was walking out of their suite, I heard her yelling at him about teaching her babies bad words. I shook my head, laughed, and kept walking.

When I got home, Mama asked how shopping with Aspen went and I told her I was able to get a whole outfit including socks and shoes for Dayton but Aspen paid for it. Mama asked if I was short on covering it and I told her I thought I was but once it was all rung up after Aspen offered to pay, I saw that I had enough but Aspen refused to let me pay her back. Mama told me that Aspen loved doing it for others and to just let it go because she would continue to refuse me on paying her back. I showed her what all I got for Dayton and she said that I picked out a good gift. She said it was a personal gift but wasn't too personal at the same time. She helped me put everything into the bag after taking the on-sale tag off the shoe box and we talked for a little while. I told Mama if she needed Aspen or Hardin she may want to wait a little while to let them cool off. She asked what I meant and I told her about what Hardin said and how the pups tried to repeat the word. Mam gasped and said to excuse her. I already knew she was about to call Hardin and chew him out. As I was walking to my room to get ready for mine and Dayton's date, I heard Mama yell.

"Hardin Beauregard Tifton, How dare you teach my grandpups bad words."

I opened my door and sat down on my bed. I have been part of the ranked family for almost 2 years now. How in the world did I not know Hardin's middle name was Beauregard? I have heard Mama say Beau and I thought was his middle name. Haha, my brother has an old man's middle name. I wonder what Anna's middle name is. I made a mental note to ask Jakob. I got up and picked my clothes out and went to take a shower. I dried my hair and left it down. I put my clothes on and I added a little mascara. I didn't need a bunch of makeup on to feel good about myself. I put on a pair of black dress boots to go with my outfit and I waited on time for Dayton to pick me up.
