I couldn't stop thinking about what Hope asked me. None of this was her fault. All the agony she had been through in the past was because of me, the rogue attack by Crystal, the bracelet by Stephanie, her kidnapping, I even trusted Alex to pick her up from school and take her places when I should have been the one to do it, but I trusted the bastard. I can still feel my skin crawl when I think of the times he was alone with her.

Not only did the people around me hurt her but I did too. I constantly tried to tie her down, it was the only way I could think of to keep her safe. But in the end I couldn't keep her safe, she was taken by my so called best friend from right under my nose. Now, more than a year later and I'm still paying the price and unfortunately so is she.  

I honestly don't want or need anyone but her. Pups or no pups she's mine forever. But I know she wants to start a family and because she is a pure soul I know the Moon Goddess will grant her whatever her heart desires. A few months ago my curiosity too me back to Main with Hope, Kyle and his mate. I looked around the estate room for room in search of any clue as to how Edward and his son knew that Hope's wolf was extraordinary. My only conclusion was that the same way the witch sensed Hope was pregnant she must have sensed that her wolf was powerful. Hope refused to bring anything back from the room the mother fucker had her in. She piled up all her belongings and lit them on fire in the courtyard. What pissed me off the most was the estate was in Hope's name. The mother fucker had put the estate in her name as a gift to her from him. Kyle found the deed to the property in one of the bedrooms which Hope identified as Alex's bedroom.

I tried as hard as I could to stop the vile thoughts going through my head as to how many times had Hope been in his room. I knew nothing happened between them. The fucker tried and tried but she always told him she wasn't ready for any kind of relationship with him.

My baby is determined to sell the property and donate the money to charity. But Kyle said the location of the estate was strategic especially since the property borders the Atlantic Ocean. Since that day no further plans were discussed and Hope had not decided what she wanted to do. One thing was for sure though she never wanted to step foot in that f*****g forsaken place again.

Today is Mother's Day and Hope has a big picnic lunch planned for all the moms and soon to be moms in our pack. We also have plans to take out her mom and my mom for dinner tonight. I actually think dad and Brian enjoyed the thought they started making plans of their own.

"Baby have you decided what you want to do with the property in Maine?"

"You guys can do whatever you want with it as long as I don't have to go there. And if you don't have any use for it then I'll sell it, donate some the money and use the rest of it to buy more land around our territory for agriculture. It's about time we start planting our own crops rather than buying it."

I smiled at her

"Damn!" Kyle says making her shrug her shoulders.

"It only makes sense. We are a huge pack, do you know what it costs to feed the whole pack every day?"

"Sounds like a plan baby. Whatever you want"  I kissed her on her shoulder. She got up but I pulled her down

"I want to get back to the picnic, Maddox is there with Mandy"

"Okay what time are we leaving tonight?

"I made reservations at seven so let's be ready by six" She said getting off my lap and heading towards the door"

"Have you guys eaten or should I bring lunch in here for you?"

"No, I promised Carrie we'd have lunch together today thanks though"

"I'm not hungry right now, I'll see you at home okay" I said watching her leave. She nodded as she left then turned around and blew me a kiss.

"I like her idea a lot" Kyle said

"Me too" I paused still in awe of smart my baby is "Make the calls needed and make sure to get the best deal"

After Kyle left I walked up home to relax a little before dinner. I lay down on the couch in the library when my phone chimed with a text message.
