CHAPTER THREE Lily devoured the last bite of her chocolate cake doused in thick chocolate sauce and ice-cream and sighed with pleasure. Chocolate cake was one of her dark secrets. She always craved it and never could say no to a slice. All right, a thick slice. She had never seen the point of eating a thin slice when she could score a double one. With slight regret, she pushed the dessert plate aside. She might have been cursed in some things, but in a way, she was a lucky woman. She could eat whatever she wanted, and she never gained weight.
