Chapter Twenty-seven

Liam sat in the passenger's seat of carla's red kia, wondering why victoria would go out on a dinner date with her ex.

'Could it be that he wants her back? I can't let that happen, i love her.... wait, did i just say i love her?'

"That's it!" liam exclaimed

"Geez, you scared me. What?"

"I'm in love with tori."

"What?"

"I love tori, that's the only explanation to how i'm feeling."

"Why? Her ex is back, she has gone back to him, why can't you see that." carla said, gripping the steering wheel tight.

"Why are you so angry? And besides she's not back with her ex, i just need to tell her that i love her."

"But she doesn't love you."

"How do you know that?"

"I know it, I'm the one who loves you. I've loved you since sixth grade. But you were too blind with victoria to see it, what does she have that i don't."

"But i don't even remember you."

"You don't remember her either but you still love her, why liam, why?!" carla yelled and accelerated.

"Hey, you have to slow down."

"Say you love me liam."

"Why would i do that?" liam asked, carla added more speed. "Slow the f**k down tori!"

"My name is carla! If i can't have you, she won't either!"

"Don't do this carla, stop the car let's talk about it."

"No! You don't love me, it's no use still living."

"Carla stop!" liam yelled, struggling the the wheel with her, carla missed a turn and drove into bush. The car got to a slope and somersaulted multiple times before it stopped, it began to link of petrol.

On the other part of town, victoria was at dinner with edwin when she suddenly began to feel uneasy, she had been feeling stupid for leaving liam alone with carla. But right now her discomfort increased, she paid no attention to everything edwin was saying until he held her hand.

"Are you okay? You suddenly look pale."

"I don't feel too good Ed."

Edwin chuckled, "It's been ages since you called me that." he said, victoria gave him a half smile. "Come, i'll take you back now." Edwin stood up and took off his jacket to cover her exposed shoulders. He drove her back to the house, but carla and liam were not yet back.

"Thank you for bringing him home Edwin."

"You're welcome, are you sure you'll be fine?"

"I will, i'll go in to rest now." Victoria hugged edwin, he placed a kiss on her forehead. "Safe flight back to netherlands."

"And you be safe out here, i'll keep in touch."

"Thank you, and goodbye."

"Goodbye vicki."

Long After Edwin was gone, victoria called liam but there was no response, she became restless. A minute later, her phone rang;

"Liam where are you?" she asked

"He's at the town's hospital ma'am, are you a relative?"

"Yes, what happened? Is he okay?"

"It's best you get here quickly."
