Chapter Twenty-Six

Every instincts and voice in victoria's head urged her to stop, to withdraw from liam, but her heart, soul and body were locked in. She wanted more and more, liam felt her hesitation when he deepened the kiss, he also felt her tense up when he slowly hiked up her skirt to caress her inner thighs.

Victoria finally found the courage to pull back, "I can't."

"You can't, or you don't want to." liam asked

"What?"

"I can tell you want this as much as i do, but why are holding back?"

Victoria closed her eyes, "You're not completely ready for this, you need to regain your memories first."

"And what if i do not recover them? I don't need to have my memories to feel the way i feel tori. I'm drawn to you, i have been since i regained consciousness."

Victoria stared into his eyes, she opened her mouth to respond but a knock on the door interrupted the moment. She walked to open the door and was surprised who the visitor was, carla walked past her and went straight to liam, she hugged him and kissed his forehead.

"Hello sweetness, how are you doing?"

"Do i know you?" liam asked

Carla turned to victoria, "Oh come on vicki, you didn't tell him who i am?" she said. There was a confuse look on victoria's face, carla turned back to liam and said; "It's hurt that you don't remember me, but it's okay. I'm your dear carla èllo from sixth grade, i even visited you my darling with flowers at the hospital, it's obvious she didn't tell you." carla looked back at victoria with a smirk.

"Hmmm, Tori how close were we then?" liam asked

"You....."

"We were so close darling, she won't admit it cause she's been jealous of us since elementary school." carla kissed liam's cheek and made a dramatic romantic gesture. "I actually came to take you for a ride to our old school, probably it would help jog your memories."

"Thamk you carla, but....."

"Oh come on victoria, didn't you tell leah that caring for liam alone was difficult?...."

"What? i never said...."

"I'm only here to help take care of my darling friend." carla interjected.

Victoria moved towards carla but there was another knock on the door, victoria opened the door. "Edwin?"

"Hey vicki."

"Hey." she stepped aside for him to come in.

"Good evening liam, how are you faring this evening?"

"I'm good." liam responded in a cold tone.

"I was hoping you would say that." Edwin said, smiling.

"What do you want here?" liam asked

"I was wondering if vicki and i could go out for dinner." Edwin said as he turned to Victoria.

Victoria pulled him to the side and whispered, "What is this?"

"I got a call two hours ago, i'm going back to netherlands first flight tomorrow."

"Oh...Okay then. I'll see you 7pm, the restaurant up town."

"You're going?" liam asked

"Yes, i..."

"Carla and i are too."
