Two weeks later, Liam was discharged from the hospital and taken home, he was now capable of taking care of himself. So victoria moved back to her home, despite the fact liam didn't like the idea of not being close to her, he didn't persist. "Welcome back vicki." leah said when her friend came to the pastry shop the next day. "Thank you leah, for taking care of the store while i'm away." "Oh it's nothing, How's liam?" leah asked "He's doing great, he should be fit to resume business next week." Leah chuckled, "I guess he couldn't wait to see you again." "What do you mean?" Victoria asked, brows cringed together. "Look behind you." leah said. Victoria turned around to see liam closing his black truck and walking towards the store, she was surprised that he was able to drive himself down here. He wore a white shirt with three buttons open, a jean trouser and a black boot, just he always loved to dress up. A dark shade on, and that dashing murderous smile that could send a woman in cardiac arrest. "Good to see you again tori, Why do you look so surprised?" liam smiled at her, it reminded her of the old liam. "You drove here?" Victoria asked "Yes, i did. Hello leah, how are you and the boys?" liam greeted, leah's mouth fell open, to shocked victoria even more. "You...you remember leah?" Liam smiled and removed his sunglasses, his beautiful blue eyes danced in excitement as he stared into victoria's grey ones. "Hasn't she been to the house thrice the past seven weeks?" "The boys? I never told you about them." leah said "Xander did, He seems to be smitten by them" "Yeah, he is very good with the boys, and they love him too as well." leah said. "Doesn't that tell you anything?" liam asked "Like what?" leah asked "That he's into her?" Victoria asked liam, he nodded. Victoria and Leah exchanged glances, they bursted into a loud laugh. "What's funny?" liam asked "You are, you don't know xander, if you remember who he is, you won't be saying that." Victoria said Liam chuckled and walked into his store, Xander was in his office waiting. "Man, you're late." Xander said "Sorry, but i'm here now, you can go." "Are you sure you're fit to handle this?" "Not you too." Liam rolled his eyes. "I'm just saying, Victoria might sniff you out, and it will definitely piss the hell off her." "I need to know how she feels about me first." "Just tell her how you feel and ask her out properly." "Liam scoffed, "Like you've done yours?" "Hey, mine is different, i'm being cautious so i don't scare her off. You've known victoria ever since you both learned how to count, you guys ain't getting any younger." "Fine, fine, i heard you. Now go before you miss the games, my regards to the boys....Dad." liam smiled. "Don't mock me bro, thanks anyway, be careful."
