Jay & Zara
“Jay!” I heard Zara yell out as she walked into my house.
Hearing her voice alone made me upset.
“Zara, I told you, we shouldn’t have come.” Devon said to her.
“Oh, please. Since he’s not home, let's just wait. I’ll pour you a drink, honey. Our guests will be here soon and this is a better place to host anyway. Our house is too small for that, right now. When Uncle Amit gives us the Chahar house, we can use that, but for now we need to impress these people. I want their money.” Zara told Devan.
She brought her fiancé to my house, after destroying my marriage. She was going to deserve everything I threw at her.
For now, though, I needed to get a grip on myself. I couldn’t say anything to Devan that hinted at any of this. He had the family reins in his hands
