“Jay.”
I heard her voice.
“Jay wake up!” She stressed.
I tried to pull her back to bed but she refused.
“Get up!”
“I don’t want to. Come back to bed Amara.” I said, wanting her back in my arms for a few more hours before having to play the ass hole role again.
“We don’t have time, Jay. We’re going to lunch at Baba’s and you know how punctual he is, don’t you?” She asked, while sitting down beside me on the bed.
I looked at her with a mischievous smile. “I’ll make up an excuse, you, just get over here.” I exclaimed, pulling her down and into my arms.
Amara giggled and it was music to my ears.
“DUDE! GET UP MAN!”
