Face Off
“Are you in a better mood?” Jay asked walking into the kitchen.
“I see you found your way into the house.” I replied.
“Ya, I did. The housekeeper let me in this morning when she left to go run some errands, as you can imagine that was embarrassing.” He said leaning against the counter.
I was currently baking cookies and was trying to get everything out of my head.
“Amara, are you going to talk to me about what happened last night?”
I shook my head. I didn’t want to fight with Jay again, I wanted to focus on myself.
“Fine, don’t talk, but I will figure out what’s going on with you.” He said bending down and quickly kissing me before leaving the kitchen.
