Face-Off
“I got you.”
That was the last thing I heard Jay say to his brothers.
The room was silent and then Jay’s mother walked out of the room after giving her husband a look. She looked upset and I could understand why, but I didn’t understand what the hell was going on.
I knew that Jay had issues with his father but this was something else.
I stood and watched the rest of the family slowly stand and congratulate Devan and Zara while Jay, Andy, and Vick stepped out of the room for a few minutes.
