Chapter 40 Close Call The plane touched down and I looked out at the tarmac. A new place. Somewhere I could hide out and deal with the disastrous turn of events in my life. I had left everything behind, but what was my next step? What do I do next? As I walked off the plane and through the airport, that question kept appearing. What the hell do I do next? I had been alone most of my life but I had lived in the bubble of my father’s creation. How would I even live on my own now? What would I do? I stopped out in front of the airport and looked back at the building. Had I made the right decision to come here? Should I have gone somewhere else? There was no time to think about it now.
