Layla's point of View

It has been a week since my family was stripped of their title and Alex took over. I couldn't believe it and due to the embarrassment, my parents have decided to leave the pack. I balled my eyes out and no matter how much I screamed and pleaded everything was falling apart. Tess took everything away.

As I walked through the woods I knew what I needed to do. I have been walking for hours and I knew that Ben would be out looking for me soon but I needed to find them. She needed to pay.

I kept walking and soon I heard a branch snap behind me causing me to quickly turn around. There stood a brown raggedy wolf and I smiled.

"I have been looking for you. I have a proposition for you rogue."

Just then the rogue started to shift and there before me stood a sexy-looking man.

"And why would you be looking for me?" The rogue said with a smile on his face. He walked towards me and I watched as his member grew in size. Pretty expressive if I must say.

"I want you to gather a group of rogues and hunters and attack a pack for me. I need you to kill someone."

As he stood right in front of me he grabbed me by the hips pulling me in front of him. "And why would I do that?"

"Because I am willing to pay and more."

The man touched my boob and said, "well let's get to the more part." I smiled and kissed him. He was huge and was hitting all the right places.

After two rounds of s*x, I started to get dressed and looked at him. "So will you help me?"

"Depends on if we can do that again," he said with a smirk.

"Of course," I said while I winked at him.

"So what do you want to be done?"

"My father had a half-bred and because of her, we lost the title of gamma. She embarrassed my family. Since she is the last siren the hunters will pay top dollar for her and I want my alpha dead."

"That is a lot to ask for."

"You can take over the pack and the money from the pack. Just think you can become alpha and I can be your luna," I said as I planted kisses along his neck.

"Consider it done."

I gave Kane my number and he promised to have it done. Now I just wait.

Kane and I have talked on and off for the past two weeks and we have even met up and f****d. Thankfully Ben has not smelled him on me because I knew he would get upset. If Kane didn't succeed at killing Tess and taking the pack then I needed to keep the Beta title.

As I was sitting on the sofa folding laundry Ben walked in. He didn't seem happy.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I put the navy blue polo shirt down.

"Nothing."

"It's something, Ben. You can't hide it. So tell me."

"Rick is in an uproar because Tess has decided to leave."

Hearing him say this had my heart sink. Kane was not ready but I needed to find out more.

"Why is he upset by this?"

"He wants her as a mate."

"Oh," I said as the anger inside of me started to rise. This c*nt wants to steal everything including the luna spot.

"She wants to leave now but Rick begged her to stay two more weeks."

"Do you think she will stay?" I needed Ben to keep talking so I could get more information to tell Kane.

"I don't think so. She was pretty adamant on leaving."

"Well, that is a good thing."

"And why do you say that?"

I folded the shirt and grabbed a pair of pants. "Well for one I don't like her. She ruined my parent's life here and took away my title. I couldn't live here if she is Luna. I am on board for her to leave."

"Of course you would. I am going to go shower."

I could tell more was on his mind but I didn't have time to deal with his issues. Once Ben was upstairs and I could hear the shower running I texted Kane.

'She is leaving soon. I need the timetable moved up.'

Kane quickly texted back. 'How soon?'

'One week.'

That would give him enough time to get everything together. Hopefully, he could have the hunters here as well. I wanted her gone.

'I might be able to get everything together. I have a meeting with hunters tomorrow. I will let you know what is going on tomorrow.'

'Okay.'

I needed to plan a night away from the pack so I wouldn't be caught during the fight. I put my phone down and started to fold laundry again with a smile on my face. Soon she would be gone. I couldn't wait for her to be gone.

"Hey, babe. Did you want to go to dinner?"

I looked up and smiled at him. "Sure."

I got up from the sofa, kissed him on the lips, and went upstairs and got dressed. It didn't take too long to get ready but after thirty minutes I was ready to go. We got into Ben's silver truck he drove us to the diner in the pack town. As we walked in we were seated and I looked at a menu. I ordered a burger, fries, and slaw.

Ben grabbed my hand and said, "How have you been feeling?"

"Good. The morning sickness has past. I will need to get new clothes and was thinking of taking a trip out to the city to shop at the mall."

Ben rubbed his thumb over my hand and said, "Well let me know when you want to go and I will go with you."

I smiled because if he went with me it would be one less person to stand in Kane's way.

"I will."

Just as our food arrived they walked in. Rick and Tess with smiles on their faces.
