Since the day I met the stranger man in the Forbidden Forest, he is always on my mind; his face is visible when I close my eyes. I remember his face well; he is handsome indeed.
The day that passes is strange. I met the kind Lady in the other World and we roam around Atracia City, the City I’ve seen for the first time.
Siana, my twin sister didn’t know I cross the Passage. I didn’t tell her yet but I know she is suspicious and guarding my actions.
Siana and Master Arrius might have an idea; I know they are judging my actions.
I come to the Forbidden Forest again; I successfully escape Master Arrius tight security, I once again find myself wondering inside the forest.
I have my sword with me for I know the slimus monsters are around, as I go further inside, the bottom of the forest there is a strong smell that scattered in thin air. I immediately cover my nose for me to prevent to inhale the air, I have the feeling it is not safe for my health.
I came closer to the place where the smell is coming from, I see the field of color purple flowers. I wonder what it is; the smell is getting stronger and I’m dizzy.
I heard a voice by my side, “It’s cerulean flowers” the voice sounds familiar.
I knew who he is, the stranger I encounter the last time. I face the man and I’m right.
“You can’t stay here for long that flower is dangerous,” the strange man said
“Why are you here if this place is dangerous?” I ask curiously
“I have antibodies” the strange man answer
“Antibody from this dangerous flower; Where are those can be found?” I ask
“Nowhere, I made it” He simply answers.
“You do. Are you some kind of scientist?” I’m intrigued
“No but I’m a man you're destined to meet Princess Mia, you’re path and mine are fated. You and I can’t avoid our destiny.” The strange man looking directly in my eyes
“What do you mean?” I ask, wanting to know more
“In time, you will know” The strange man answers mysteriously
The strange man gives me a little vile where a small amount of fluid is in it.
“Keep it and hide it from anyone. It’s the antidote I made so you can’t be infected by the cerulean flowers.” The man's voice is soft; it seems to me that he cares.
I lend my hand and accept the antidote, keep it safe in my palm.
“How can I use it?” I ask
“A little drop in your tongue, you can walk in the forest not be affected and nauseous in the Cerulean smell” the strange man explain
“Why will I do that? How could I trust you? this could be a poison and you might want to kill me” I said bravely, I don’t know the reason for me saying that but watching the show in the other World makes me realize that I can’t trust people easily. People are vicious and they wanted to harm any of the members of the Royal family for the riches, power and thrown, they wanted to take them from the Royal family that is the play all about, the one I watch in the other World.
I know better even if the strange man speaks gently and looks kind. I can’t be deceived.
The strange man laughs crisply which startled me, I never knew that what I said is funny. It makes me feel irritated.
“What’s funny?” I ask with my eyebrow-raising
“You are a smart young lady. Soon you will be an adult, a fine Princess, truly a lady ready to be the Queen. I’m watching you from afar. I’ve seen your dedication to fully develop yourself and your potential not only as a Princess but as a fighter. You are suitable for the thrown.” The strange man sounds proud.
“You’re watching me?” I ask shivering, I wonder the reasons my hands are trembling,
I realize that the smell of the flowers has taken over my system, suddenly my knees weaken, and I’m kneeling in the ground.
The man kneels in front of me “Princess Mia I will never intend to kill you. You and I are the same. We have the same path to take.” The strange man whispers
My hand is shaking as I open my hand and see the vile of liquid the strange man gifted me, I’m looking into it.
“Take some drops” the strange man suggest
I look to the strange man and look at his soft-looking eyes staring at me, he gets vile, open it.
“Open your mouth” he commands
I don’t know but I listen, I open my mouth.
The strange man drops a liquid in my mouth. I close my eyes and close my mouth as I feel and taste the liquid.
The energy is overflowing in my body; I can feel that my body is warmer. I open my eyes and I can see the energy of everything around me. The energy of the Forbidden forest is lifeless gray and dark, the cerulean flowers give out a color of blue, orange, and purple. It is the only energy that has color in the Forbidden forest.
I’m shocked as I see the overflowing energy of the strange man in front of me, it is the darkest of all dark energy I ever have seen and it’s envelope him completely.
I can see my energy color and its darker blue and I like the color, I’m amazed by it.
I look at my hand as I see my energy flowing, “It’s beautiful” I say out loud.
“Yes it is beautiful, your aura is indeed naturally born darker shade,” The strange man said
“What do you mean?” I ask
“You will know in time. Right now, you should go home and not let your twins come and find you in such a dangerous place.” The strange man remind me
“Yes, you’re right. I have to go home.” I said as I hold tightly on the vile of liquid in my palm like it is a valuable item in my life.
I’m about to go realizing that I spent much time talking to the strange man but I didn’t know his name yet. I turn around and get the opportunity to ask him;
“Who are you?” I ask without holding back
“I’m the man who is fated to be your King, we are linking. I’m Ruininki” He said proudly.
“My King” I blurted out unconsciously
“How could you say that? The elders choose the King for us?” I say abruptly
“You never listen to the Elder’s order. You know that in your heart.” Ruininki says as he turns his back to me and walks
“Come back some other time to talk, the slimus monster will never attack their Princess, you can walk without worry. Keep your sword.” The strange man says as he walks away.
I’m in the state where I don’t know what to feel in what he stated.
I suppose to be afraid or feel wrong as the strange man stated something unimaginable.
Me as Queen and him as a King; the strange man living in the Forbidden Forest
How could I trust him? The man who lives long enough in the dark forest with the dangerous creatures
But that is not only my question, I ask myself the reason why I feel relax with him around me.
He says to me we are the same and my energy is naturally dark.
My feelings supposed to oppose but I feel it wasn’t. I’m not scared of him rather I’m intrigued about him. I wanted to know more about him.
He says I will never listen to the Elder‘s words as I remember the Elders shouted at my mother when my mother visits the Elder house;
“One of the twins has the gift and one has the omen” It rings in my head.
I have the feeling that my mother Queen is hiding something from me. My mother Queen is careful not to hurt my feelings. I have the sense that between me and Siana I have the curse.
As my feelings of intrigues grow; the story of Ruininki, I have the urge to know his story. I know I can’t ask my mother Queen about it. I know she will try her best to hide the truth.
I have the feeling that everything is peculiar and many things we should know are hidden from us.
Siana is the type not question a single thing that our Kingdom orders, she follows and does not complain.
I fear that my curiosity will alarm my mother; I never wanted to worry or burden her so I will know everything on my own.
The Other World I can go to the other World too as half of the gifted and learn things I wanted to learn what will be advantageous for me.
I remember I sneak in Elders House once I believe I can do it again.
I made a plan for me not to be noticed by anyone.
Late at night, I wear my black cloak, slowly walking and creeping around the Elder’s House.
There must be some secret passage going inside the Elder’s House. I know in that late of the night no one is awake before I leave the palace I look at Siana’s room and saw she is sleeping soundly.
I know a secret passage to get out of our palace. I discover that passage by the time when I was young and my dream is to be a warrior for the Kingdom. I watch them practice their fight and follow them around the palace. The palace warrior is prepared to go in the war; one of the portals they must exit is the secret passage. I gasp as I see the Secret Passage and hide from all the warriors for them not to see me. I successfully hid and luckily know where the secret exit out of the palace.
Until then I keep it as a secret that I know the secret Passage of the palace and from that moment I use that as an exit when I need to escape our dungeon.
I’m also hopeful that I can find the secret Passage in the Elder’s House with patience I wait.
It’s cold and I’m blowing my hands with warm air from my breath. I’m fighting the cold,
I’m shivering but I can’t lose not finding out where is the secret entrance in the Elder’s House.
There is a sound of rusting bushes somewhere then I hide,
There is a dwarf who came out in the unknown door that for me is the secret Passage. I never have seen that door before and it is not the Elder’s house main door.
The draft walking wobbly, holding the thing that the Elder’s might order him to do: errands.
I certain that the dwarf is far enough before I get out in my hiding place, I make sure no one will catch me. I slowly creep in the Secret Passage.
I push a block of rock, crawl in the tunnel and push the block of rock and suddenly I’m inside the Elder’s House stock room, I put back the rock that I push.
I slowly get up and dust off my dress. I go in circles in the room, scanning everything that is in there that might help give me information in my research.
I remember there is another room where all the books and history of the Kingdom, Queens, and Gifted are written. It is like a library of the real-life written story of the known people in Querencia.
I can’t afford to get noticed by anyone. I duck down and make my way out of that room to go to the other room.
The Elder’s House is surrounded by bricks wall and torch are in the side to light up the path. The Elder’s house is primitive and outdated.
The guards of the Elder’s are scary; it is big and grumpy. It surprises me that it is an ogre.
I gasp at the sight of the big sleeping ogre; I never thought that the Elder’s hiding such a scary creature.
I try not to make any sound while I crawling on the floor to get to the other room that the ogre is guarding.
Each room in the Elder’s House doesn't have a door, it is designed that way but one specific room has an ogre guard and I know there might be a reason; it is sleeping soundly. The ogre snore hears in the hallway.
I tiptoe slowly and carefully not awaken him; I quickly pass by his side and enter the room. The library has a lot of books.
The history of the Querencia Kingdom written in each Queen's regime, every Queen has their bibliography,
In a big wide frame displayed the map of the Querencia Kingdom. The pictures of Elder's house ruler are displayed in there.
I turn around and on another shelf; the book of each Gifted is displayed there. I notice there are only a few books there written by the Gifted compared to the written history of Queens who reins the Querencia Kingdom.
I quickly hide when I heard some noises, one of the dwarfs is shouting in the ogre's ears, waking him up.
"You ugly ogre wake up, you shouldn't sleeping in the time of work" the dwarf is shouting but is no use to wake up the ogre.
The dwarf takes a deep breath and gets a hammer and hit the ogre's feet,
"Wake up" the dwarf yell exactly in the ogre's ear.
The ogre groans in frustration for wakening up but the dwarf never rattle.
The dwarf crossed his arms and says "work you lazy ogre" turning his back and walking away.
My heart beats faster; I immediately get up and look up the name written in the book.
"Ruininki" I get it fast but my eyes capture another name "Kenenkie".
I don't know the reasons but the name makes me curious, I grab the book quickly and put it in my secret pocket inside my dress.
I duck and hide. Now, that the ogre is awake. I don't know how I can get out.
