CHAPTER 34

Cassian

“Omar… Omar look.”

I heard a feminine voice from a distance, it sounded so urgent yet so soothing and calming to nerves. The flashes started to form a picture in my mind and there stood a woman in front of my eyes. She was dressed in a royal gown and stood near a lake. Her long black mane was falling down to her waist and facing her back from me, I saw her milky white skin glowing like a shining water rising the first sun of the day.

“Alaine!! You shouldn’t roam near water like this. This water body is deep and dangerous…” There comes a man with a great build. His red hair appeared fierce and green eyes resembled the ocean. His muscles flexed out bulging from his shirt, I can see the veins popping out from the skin.

“If I have you with me, then I am not scared of anything….” the woman said.

The man approached her and pulled her in her arms, “don’t you say this every time. I won't be there forever with you, then what? Will you stop living?” he asked with supremacy.

She smiled slightly, “even if you leave me alone, i will find my way back to you.. There is nothing that can set us apart, and there is more I have to tell you.” she insisted.

The man looked perplexed and asked her, “what?”

“We are no longer a family of two, we are going to be three in number…” The genuine smile glowed up her face and I noticed the man’s chest getting filled with pride.

“I am going to be a father? Oh, Alaine!! Finally, we are going to be parents. I can’t tell you how curious I am to know if my baby is a boy or a girl?” The man looked proud and happy.

“Shhh!” the woman put her finger on the man's lip and pointed in my direction. “Our son is watching us, be careful….”

Suddenly, they both caught in flames and turned into ashes. 

“No…..” I screamed at the top of my lungs and woke up with an anxiety attack.

Then I smelled something burning and all of a sudden, someone threw a bucket full of water on me.

“What the f**k?” I was pissed and got up from the bedding, then I realised I had set the whole room on fire.

“Oh.. that’s my fault…” I admitted and focused on bringing the fire back on my hand but it didn’t work.

“Thank you for ruining my house…” Uchias looked disappointed with that tilted nose.

“ Well, I am sorry I didn't mean to do that. I just had a dream and it happened…” I tried explaining myself to him but he didn’t listen to a s**t.

“You have no control on your powers. What kind of a royal blood are you?” He hurt my ego with those words and I swear I wanted to set him on fire. 

But before I could kill him, Alarous interfered and dragged me to the outside.

“What were you thinking?” he asked me.

“I had a dream…” I said while rolling my eyes.

“That I heard from your conversation with him, but what did you see?” he asked further.

“I saw my parents, talking about conceiving me. That;s all and suddenly they were set on fire. I got scared.” I said with a low voice.

Alarous caught me in a hug, “it’s okay.. Things work differently with everyone. You will be fine, trust me. Just focus on your training.”

“I saw my father, he looked like me.. Well, almost but I don't have green eyes like him… and that built, he was a muscular and attractive person, I swear i can’t do that good..” i chuckled while describing my dead father whom I saw in my dreams.

“He had those beautiful green eyes. Alaine always wanted for the baby to have those eyes, but still you got his hair… and his power.” Alarous said.

“I hope he has gotten his brain too…” Uchias muttered while joining us.

“Why do you hate me?” I asked him while facing him.

“Challenging me? Do you think you can handle a blow from me?” Uchias looked determined.

“Oh… yeah… I can..” I grit my teeth.

“Wait.. wait… he is not ready Uchias… I don't think….” Alarous was stating something.

“And he will never be ready this way. All he knows is how to rebel against his authorities. No one learns without authority,” he seemed very much pissed.

“Well, I will prove you wrong…” I said.

He chuckled and looked at me amusingly, “you? Let's see, set a match. You have to pin me down, if you win, I will serve you personally like I did King Omar, and if you lose, don’t show your face to me..” he raised his bet.

I was hesitant but I took the risk. “Fine!!! I accept.”

“Cassian…” Alarous tried to intertwine but I have already made up my mind.

Not so far, we went to the barren ground, which is now our training ground. It was hot there, yet I was thrilled. Uchias looked like an emperor of this place. And I thought I had made a mistake.

“So, the rule is one, pin each other down, and you can use your hands to punch me, if you can.” he said while raising his chin up.

“Ok…” I said in a monotonous voice.

Clenched my fist and ready to fight, I used my boxing skills to tackle him, but he seemed to dodge each move like he could read my mind and knew about my attack.

“That’s all you can do?” He narrowed his gaze on me.

“You haven’t seen anything yet…” I chuckled and punched his abdomen, yet he stood tall and towering.

I punched again but he stood like I was punching a soft toy.

“What the hell?” I scrunched my brows.

Uchias smiled and blew a ucnh at me, and I was thrown away. The blow was hard and I felt my shoulder dislocated. I hide the pain while chewing my lower lip and run to speer him down. He swiftly moved to the other side and I fell on my face rubbing against the ground. 

Uchias kicked me in my stomach and I growled in pain. The disadvantage was my shoulder and I couldn't move it. I rested my body weight on another arm and he kicked on my elbow, I fell and broke my nose.

My wounds were bleeding and yet I got up to face him.

“Kid, why don’t you give up?” he asked me.

“I will die, but I won't give up.” I said and suddenly, I felt my body getting limp as I fell on the ground.

But before I could reach the ground, I hit a strong body supporting me, he was Uchias.

“I guess you had enough…”

Those were the last words I heard before falling into darkness.
