Crashes on crashes, and wounds over wounds, that’s what happened when I slashed the big glass window and jumped inside the hive. Aren’t I the big bad wolf who loves to take risks for anything? This time, my reason is not valid either, but what is the reason for living when you don’t get thrills running old your whole life?

Empty corridors filled with so-called shadow warriors, as they chased me down to the hall, I used that shadow to hide from them. Fuckers! They chased the wrong dog so far. Loved the fact of bringing the knives with me, that when I slashed the necks and tendons without a far cry. Let the blood rolled down on the floor, painting it f*****g red.

Suddenly, my inner demon loved the violence. He loved the sound of the dripping blood. My enhanced hearing alerts me from the counter attack I received, making me dodge them in the time.

Suddenly, the worst thing happened, a canary’s cry made me jump on my bones. My ear drum paralysed temporarily until I found the source behind me. A stun gun!! A f*****g stun gun? They electrocuted me and I laid on the ground, unable to move my finger even.

There he stood tall and towering, like the way he stood in front of her. His blue eyes shone under the artificial fluorescent lights, yet I find them familiar somehow. My orbs were getting close, dampened by the pain, I felt them getting heavier than the rock. All I remembered, his eyes penetrating mine.

Felt gagged on the piece of cloth stuffed in my mouth, my eyes opened precisely under the blinding lights. Though i thought i was dreaming, yet it was the reality i jumped into. Metallic capsules and machinery, equipment and what not, the whole damn place was a laboratory. They are indeed behind something sinister.

“Oh! You are awake. Glad! I need to talk to you.” that voice, i heard it somewhere but my mind wasn’t stable to recall it from where i heard it before.

Fina;;y, i was bale to open my eeys to see the f*****g place i was captured inside. The shock froze my bones and the reality dawned upon me like a thunderbolt.

“Surprise?” he said.

That doctor, he was from that hospital. That moron is behind all this cult and hunting s**t.

“Should have known that a mad doctor is behind this mess, I had my guts on you since that day..” I hissed at him yet I was bound by electrocuting wires around my wrists, ankles, and neck.

He laughed like the real villain, oh baby! Let me free one last time, I am going to show you what a bad villain can do.

“Struggling? No need to.. We are eventually letting you go after our business is done, meanwhile, please cooperate..” the doctor suggested but what the hell?

Does he really think I will listen to his s**t? Suddenly, I got electrocuted by the wires around me when I tried to plunge him.

“No use of this, I know how to control a beast like you. I saw what you did there, little pup. I have been studying creatures like you and did find some humans able to become hybride but you are different. I was a failure till now but with your DNA, I will make a hybrid come alive.” that doctor was too high on weeds.

“In your dreams baby…. That’s not gonna happen.. I will roast you like toast..” I chuckled after giving a sarcastic reply to him.

He frowned and clapped to gain my attention, “I knew you would say something like that, I already took care of that..” he said with a confidence on my face.

There she came out, katia..

“Show him what you can do.” he gestured to her.

Katia was glaring at me, but I could sense the hesitation in her eyes, her hands were sweating and shaking noticeably. There was a big table, and there were some suitcases on it. She went up to the second one and waited for that doctor’s command.

“Open it.. This is your test..” he said, while katia opened the suitcase, which revealed a sharp dagger like weapon, but cool.

She was reluctant to pick it up but having no choice, she picked it.

“Go on and bring his head to me…” his eyes were sparkling under the emitting lights.

To my horror, Katia approached me. I was really thinking about the decision I made about her. 

“Do you really want to do this?” I asked her in a whispering voice.

She looked at me with shock but concealed her emotion, and raised her weapon at me.

“It doesn't matter.. After all we both are monsters, right?” she said to me.

I looked right into her eyes, “when is a monster not a monster?” I put her in a daze.

She looked surprised and confused.

“When you love it..” I smirked at her and she gasped at my statement.

“What the hell are you doing? Kill him, now? Prove your loyalty to your cult..” that doctor started messing with her head again.

I struggled to get released because the spell I put on her is now broken. I can sense she didn't want this but she has to do this.

“It won’t hurt that much…” she said in a stammering voice.

“Tell me every terrible thing you did, and let me love you anyway…” I smirked one last time.

Suddenly, the weapon dropped from her hands and there was a huge crashing sound heard when the glass equipment burst.

All the little scientists ran for their life, as the shadow warrior’s dead bodies landed on the feet of that mad doctor.

“What the actuall f**k?” he whispered to himself.

“Surprise, motherfucker!!!”

There comes my partner in crime, the one and the only, shadow wolf, Alarous.

“I knew you would miss me so I couldn't stop myself from seeing you.” she said with a  wink and dropped another body on the floor.

Katia rushed to grab the remote and released me from the hold of electrical wires.

“You, little snitch… i will haunt you down…” the doctor grabbed Katia’s wrist and pierced the sharp weapon in her arm.

My blood boiled and fled like the molten lava. I rushed it and grabbed him from his neck..

“If you kill me,all of you here, will die with me.” he hissed on my face.

“Is that so, then i am willing to die with you, in my own fire. Don’t worry about the darkness in my soul, it ignites me like an embered coal..” i stared dead in his eyes before setting us on fire.

I heard his blood crawling screams, echoed in the whole hives, and I let myself burn the whole damn place with it’s evidence. Making it look like an accident. 

“Is he alright?” a faint voice asked but to whom.

“Yeah.. he is just… exhausted…” that voice, i remember her, i remember her face.

I opened my eyes to find myself in bed.

“The lion is awake…” Alarous chuckled while looking at me.

“The lion is now awake…” I smiled while covered in bandages and saw my lovely’s face looking adorable, sitting beside me.

“Yeah… god has mysterious ways to do his things…” Alarous said.

“No! It was me, not god… shut up!”
