Things passed heftyly since the secret building in the deep forest exploded and thousands of workers inside it died. Though, they don’t know those workers were no one else but dangerous shadow warriors trained to protect a cult. Still, the news media will show what will gain them, TRP. temporary people, don’t understand anything, bastards!!
Back on my feet, it feels so good. Point to be noted for future, never burn yourself up! NEVER!!
Back in the store room, Alarous was sculpting razor sharp swords and different weapons. Standing beside him was Katia. Wait!! She is still here.
“What are you doing here?” I asked her right away.
She looked up at me and frowned, “why can't I be here? Since you left no place for me to live, I have to find one for myself.” she commented with an attitude.

“Then go, and find yourself one big house!” I started while sipping water from the bottle.
She glared at me while Alarous chuckled, “dude! You destroyed hives, she was living there.”
“What does it have to do with me? I killed them to save her, atleast, she owes us a repayment.” i rolled my eyes at the back of my head.
“I couldn’t believe you have low standards… ready to jump to save me without any reason and now showing your respect to the same lady, threatening her to leave your house..huh?” She looked confused.
“Wait.. there was a reason why i jumped to save you but there is now a valid reason to hate you either. You and your crazy bat s**t doctor almost had me.. Do you have any idea what you were doing? And how can I trust you? You almost killed me there. Who knows when you will attack us? Maybe in our sleep..” I explained my worries in a sentence.
“I don’t want her here.” I said to Alarous who looked at me with the same confused look. Katia slammed the door in our face and left on the balcony.
“Seems like you lost your memory…” he commented before jumping back to his work.
I was glaring at them, “this is my house, i am letting you live here and now i want both of you to leave. I had enough s**t. I don’t want more of it… it was the last straw. I almost lost my life there, saving a stranger because i am attracted to her, that already sound stupid.” i yelled at them.
Alarous stood and faced me with a punch in my head, “when i told you the same exact thing, you were literally covered up with your imagination. What happened to you now? Giving up so easily?”
“What do you mean?” I ask while glaring at him more and more.
“Since you destroyed one hive, there are several located near or outside the city. They will be looking for Katia. She has nowhere to go. Even if she tries to escape the city, there is no point. They will find her eventually and kill her. I warned you.. Why am I making these weapons? To fight them. They will come here to find her, so will we.”
Alarous’s revelation made me jump on my claws. These sucking parasites are dared enough to do this?
“Who told you this?” I asked him.
“Katia, herself, maybe you should listen to her side before judging someone you don’t know…” he raised his brows at me.
“Whoa!!! My cat is showing me teeth?” I chuckled before drifting into the balcony.
There I saw her. Wiping her tears. When I opened the door, she wiped her face quickly and sniffled at me.
“Don’t worry, I will leave your home in the morning.. I don’t want to stay in a place where I am not welcomed.” she replied harshly but softly spoken.
“Thanks but I just changed my mind…” I said to her,
“Did the new one worked?” she asked.
“Yeah… wait! What?” I looked shocked at her while she was there with a hideous grin over her face.
“What about these hives? Surely, Alarous gave me some hints but i also realised it’s not safe for you to be alone. I am sorry..” I apologised after putting the stone over my heart.
“Thank you for letting me stay but you are a terrible actor. You could have simply asked if you wanted my help, I would be glad to help you…” she smiled after sniffling one more time.
I put my hands in the pocket of my sweatpants and watched her face glowing in the fluorescent light. Her pale freckles were hidden by it and her sharp features are restoring me to look away.
“Clever…. So, why are you running away from them? You had an opportunity to kill me, use me when I was unconscious, like the way you were trying to extract my spinal cords in the hives?” I asked her with a demeaning pressure.
She sighed before looking away, “it was never what I wanted to do in the first place. My life was normal until my parents died in a car crash, leaving me to join that cult because they were a part of it. Though, I was never aware of this. It broke my heart when I realised what these guys do. I was trained mentally, physically, restricting my emotions to kill a newborn even, and the saddest part of this is, I killed people and children for the cult…” tears poured down from her face.
“All these years, they knew me as a ruthless assassin, but I was still hiding behind that mask I wore everyday. But it broke the day I saw you. You did show me affection but my ruthlessness palisading against my emotional wall, until I gave up and fell when you awakened the sense inside my brain. I realised my mistakes and the terrible things i did, that’s why i want to repent for everything. I am ready to kill these parasites from the roots.” She stood much confident in herself.
I was stunned to see the woman I was attracted to, she wasn't playing where and she knew what she wanted to do.
“Then count me in, I do want to send them back to hell…” I winked before Alarous made his grand entrance on the balcony.
“Guys… i am hungry…`` When he finished his sentence, I heard a loud rumbling voice from my lower abdomen.
“Seems like I am hungry too. Let’s eat pizza today, who knows, we will be able to eat pizza after tonight…”
“Why do you have to say something like that…” Katia scolds me.
“Don’t mind him, he is just being him.
