CHAPTER 9

We slept there for the night but I couldn't even take a small nap. I want to get out of this place as soon as possible. Now, even Shahid became dangerous. I have to do something soon.

I didn't even realize that it's time to wake up. When Shahid shuffled behind me, I came to know that he is awake.

"I can wake up everyday to this scene," Shahid says, with love and admiration in his blue eyes.

"You don't look well rested. Didn't you sleep yesterday," Shahid asked, genuinely concerned.

"Go away, you creep! First, you will force yourself on me and then you expect me to sleep peacefully as if your arms are the safest place to sleep," I say, moving away from him but he tightened his grip on me.

"Please, let me go," I can't help but cry. I may show that I am strong but no, I am not. I am weak because my parents thought of leaving me behind in an orphanage and I have only one friend. I can't even meet that friend.

"Shh... Now listen. Abbu and Ammi are coming here to see their daughter-in-law tomorrow. Be ready."

"I won't. I will first met Gaurav and then I will meet your parents," I said, pouting softly. Gaurav days that no one can deny me if I pout because I look cute while doing it.

"Fine. Sleep now."

I will meet Gaurav now- thinking this, I immediately went to my Dreamland with a smile on face, even if I was in Shahid's arms, I imagined his presence beside me. I love you Gaurav.
