Jacob got out of work early so they were able to leave at three, they had to buy a small moving trailer to attack and place all of Skylar’s art piece inside, they took the shorter route since Ethan said to drop it off so they can set it up.

“Do you want me to check you into the hotel?” Skylar said.

“Get one with a Spa your father always does that for me” her mother said.

“Okay, I can schedule one for this evening if you want” Skylar said.

“I’d like that, been a long time” her mother said.

“Okay, let me call now” Skylar said.

Jacob turns the radio a bit more down, Skylar asked for the VIP treatment for three at six since they should be finish before then from dropping everything off.

“Okay we are set” Skylar said.

“Did you ladies get your gowns for the event yet?” Jacob asked.

“We can do it tomorrow morning” Skylar said.

“Okay” Jacob said.

“Were almost there, you can drop me at the hotel” her mother said.

“Okay” Skylar said.

They drove into San Antonio they went to the hotel that they stayed at since Skylar and Jacob liked it and they want the penthouse again since it has two rooms, they park their ride and only took their luggage. And went into inside the hotel and Skylar went up to the reception desk.

“Hello reservation for S. Williams” Skylar said.

“One moment please.” The lady said.

She began typing and then the printer went off holding three key cards.

“I see you made reservation for the VIP Spa at six, would you like a call from the front desk for a reminder” the lady said.

“Yes, please” Skylar said.

“Okay here are your keys, and please sign your name at the bottom” the lady said.

Skylar nodded her head, she signs her name and grab the keys giving one to Jacob and her mother as they went up towards their room, there they drop off their luggage as Jacob and Skylar went back out of the hotel and made their way to the gallery.

“What do you think they were a lot of people?” Jacob said.

“Of course, there will be a lot of people” Skylar said.

“You nervous?” Jacob asked.

“No, I’m use to people looking at me remember” Skylar said.

“Right, will you ever model again?” Jacob asked.

“Don’t know maybe” Skylar said.

“If they called you?” Jacob said.

“Probably well see” Skylar said.

“Okay” Jacob said.

“What about you what will you be doing?” Skylar asked.

“Watch movies pig out or go to the bar” Jacob said.

“Okay, remember to pull out back” Skylar said.

“I remember” Jacob said.

Jacob pulls up to the back, as they both got down from the car and Skylar knocked on the back door as they waited, after a few more knocks nobody answers so Skylar took her phone out and text Ethan that they were in the back. After she sent the text, a moment later the back door open and it was the assistant that met earlier and let them in as some people were moving her work inside the gallery.

“Skylar, Jacob” Ethan said.

“Ethan” Skylar said.

“Are you ready for you big day tomorrow?” Ethan said.

“Yeah, I will introduce my mother to you tomorrow” Skylar said.

“Yes, your plus one” Ethan said.

“Yeah” Skylar said.

“Let’s go see your work” Ethan said.

Skylar nodded her head, as they made their way to the front of the building where the workers were placing her work at.

“This is much more beautiful than the pictures” Ethan said.

“Thank you I did a welding, but it was a gift for my mother, but I will start on welding for only about a few moments but after that I can’t really be near heat” Skylar said.

“Oh, can I ask why?” Ethan said.

“We are having a baby” Jacob said.

“Oh, coagulations” Ethan said.

“Yeah, some welcome home party.” Skylar said.

“Yeah, drunken night we both don’t remember” Jacob said.

Skylar chuckled.

“So, the party” Ethan said.

“Yes, what is it? Cocktail, Evening gowns?” Skylar said.

“Black tie and evening gowns” Ethan said.

“Okay, and the other artist are they here in the city?” Skylar asked.

“Yes, some came by this morning” Ethan said.

“Okay, is there anything else?” Skylar said.

“No, will I see you tomorrow night” Ethan said.

“Okay” Skylar said.

Skylar started walking towards the backdoor and check the time it was about five, so they need to get back to the hotel, she saw that the workers were finished unpacking her things, so she went towards the car. Skylar went inside the car, she looked around, but Jacob wasn’t with her, she looked back and finally saw him coming out of the back door, she smirks and went back to looking at her phone and heard the door open and close.

“So?” Skylar said.

“He asked me to be his plus one” Jacob said.

“And?” Skylar said.

“The bars will miss me Saturday night” Jacob said.

“Oooh someone has a hot date” Skylar teased.

“It’s not a date” Jacob said.

“So, does that mean you two are?” Skylar asked.

“I don’t know will see” Jacob said.

“Will I for one hope you two do get together, you’d both make a cute couple” Skylar said.

“Shut it now let’s get to the spa” Ethan said.

“Your right Skylar said.

They drove back to the hotel and went up to the penthouse just as they walked in the phone rang and Skylar answered it.

“Hello” she said.

“Your appointment for your VIP treatment will be starting soon please head down to the spa room” the lady said.

“Okay thank you” Skylar said.

Skylar hung up the phone and went towards the room where her mother was watching tv.

“Mom time to head to the spa” Skylar said.

“Okay” her mother said.

Skylar helped her mother up and called out for Jacob the trio went out of the room towards the elevator and press the down floor.

“I’m so excited” her mother said.

“I know I haven’t had one in a long time” Skylar said.

“I never had one period” Jacob said.

They chuckled as they went out of the elevator and towards the spa area, went inside as three people were waiting for them.

“Welcome” they all said.

“Hello” the three said.

“This way please” one of the women said.

“One moment I am pregnant so, how can I” Skylar said.

“I will take you, and got you covered” the lady said.

Skylar nodded her head, as they followed the three ladies to each room asking them to change so they did and went out they sat down in chairs let them lean back, and they began their SVP Spa treatment. Two hours later they wear in their robes as they got into the elevator back up to their penthouse.

“That was much needed” her mother said.

“Yes, it was” Skylar said.

“I’m hungry now” Jacob said.

“So am I” Skylar said.

“Make that three” her mother said.

“We should order room service” Skylar said.

“We need to shower first” her mother said.

“You can use the shower first” Skylar said.

“Okay” her mother said.

They went back into the penthouse her mother went into the shower as Jacob went into his room to take a shower, Skylar went to the phone and ordered their food for the evening along with drinks for them as well. When her mother was finished, Skylar went in and took a shower as she was finished, she came out putting on her PJ’s and dried her hair once she was finished, she heard the door ring, and could hear Jacob’s voice. Skylar went out of the room and saw Jacob and her mother placing the food on the balcony table, Skylar walked over.

“Smells good” Skylar said.

“Indeed, it does plus with this view” her mother said.

They all sat around the table and began eating their food as they talked, once they were finished Jacob cleaned up the table placing the food cart out in the hall so the maid can pick it up and they each went to their rooms to get some sleep. The next morning Skylar woke up, her mother was not in bed, so she got up and went to the restroom washed her face and brush her teeth and changed her clothes she then went out of the room. Skylar saw her mother eating at the table outside she went over and sat down beside her.

“Morning momma” Skylar said.

“Morning baby, you sleep well?” her mother asked.

“Yeah, what about you?” Skylar asked.

“Best sleep ever” her mother said.

“Well, we have to go shopping and get our nail and hair done for the party” Skylar said.

“Well, then better eat up we need our energy” her mother said.

“Where’s Jacob at?” Skylar asked.

“He left awhile ago” her mother said.

“Okay” Skylar said.

They both ate their breakfast, after they were finished her mother went and got ready and went out of the hotel, Skylar drove to the high-end shop first to get their evening dresses. Skylar got a dark blue dress, and her mother got a nice black one they got their shoes as well.

“I really like the dress” Skylar said.

“I know I love yours as well, you have the perfect body for it” her mother said.

“So, do you mom” Skylar said.

“Too bad I can’t wear heels, but these are good” her mother said.

“Yeah, if only you did your figure would have popped out more” Skylar said.

“Oh, stop where to next?” her mother asked.

“The salon” Skylar said.

Her mother smiled as they went across the street, they both each told them how they wanted their hair to be like and they got to work on doing their hair. Lily went with a pixie layer hair cut with big curls and Skylar went with a layer trim and got curls as well, next they were moved to the nail salon. Lily went with small and black with white tips and Skylar went with long ballerina nails with dark blue color and as well as white tips, but she went with a matte nail, they also did the full treatment for the toes as well.

“This looks baby” her mother said.

“Oh, mom you should’ve went with matte” Skylar said.

“Okay” her mother said.

Her mother told the lady to change it to matte for her and they did but took a bit longer, but they were able to change it for her.

“Your total come to, 1,099.00 dollars” the lady said.

Skylar handed her the card; she swipes the card and sign her name giving them a big tip as well and went out of the salon.

“We need to do this at least once a month” her mother said.

“Yes, we do the full service. The Spa and the salon” Skylar said.

“Just a girl’s day” her mother said.

“I know, we have to go get ready” Skylar said.

“Okay, I’m so excited never been to a gallery party before” her mother said.

“I can’t wait for you too see it too not just my work but also the other employers I will be working with” Skylar said.

“Okay, come on faster” her mother said.

Skylar chuckled out and drove back to the hotel, they went up to the penthouse and got ready for the event, Skylar did her make up first went keeping it light but using the dark blue as an eyeliner. She then went to help her mother with her look giving her thin wings and red lipstick they both did as they went to go change into their dresses and few moments later, they came out of the room.

“I like it, let’s take a photo together” Skylar said.

“Out on the balcony” her mother said.

Skylar set her camera up with the tripod as they took pictures.

“Okay we have to go” her mother said.

“Okay” Skylar said.

Skylar and her mother left the hotel and drove towards the Gallery, when they got their there was already people walking in, Skylar was able to find a parking spot that had her name on there so she parked the ride.

“You ready?” her mother said.

“Yeah, are you ready?” Skylar said.

“Of course,” her mother said.

They both got down from the ride Skylar had the ticket in her hands as they made their way towards the door and the person at the door was checking the tickets once they saw Skylar’s name they talked into the walkie and Ethan came to the doorway.

“Skylar” Ethan said.

“Ethan hello, this is my mother, Lily. Mom this is my boss Ethan” Skylar said.

“Nice to meet you” Ethan said.

“Same to you as well” Lily said.

Ethan went around introducing Skylar and her mother to people soon Ethan took Skylar’s hand and called the employers up to the small stage.

“Thank you, everyone for coming today I would like to introduce our new artist Skylar Williams. Her artwork is up front. You may also know our other artist Gloria Sanchez, Robert Smith, Hope Willson, and Greg Beckerman” Ethan said.

There were cheers going around the place.

“Now take out your wallets and buy their beautiful artwork or if you want a piece made by them you can give your information to my assistants at the front desk and they will give the information to the artist for you, also there is information about what kind of art the artist there is information at the front desk. Enjoy the rest of the evening” Ethan said.

Skylar talked with the artist and got to know them better she also introduces her mother to them as well and they went around looking at the artwork there was a journalist there going around interviewing the artist. Skylar was busy talking with her mother when the reporter came up to them.

“Hello, I am Ava Johnson with the San Antonio times” Ava said.

“Hello, Skylar Williams” Skylar said.

“Skylar Williams, the model” Ava said.

“Yes” Skylar said.

“Wow, model turn artist. I would love to do a sit-down interview with you” Ava said.

“Thank you, and okay that would be nice” Skylar said.

“For now, can we have a picture” Ava said.

“Sure” Skylar said.

Skylar stood beside her mother and Ava’s photographer took a picture of them.

“This is my mother Lily” Skylar said.

“Nice to meet you” Ava said.

“You as well” her mother said.

They talked for a few minutes and she went on talking with other people. Skylar and her mother walked around they finally met up with Jacob who they walked around with after a while about three hours later Skylar and her mother wanted to leave.

“Hey Ethan, were going to head out now” Skylar said.

“Oh, okay but come by Monday before you leave, we will have a meeting on tonight’s sell and to see if there are people that asked for order’s” Ethan said.

“Okay see you Monday” Skylar said.

Skylar and her mother left the gallery she text Jacob before that they were heading back to the hotel.

“Let’s get something to eat” her mother said.

“I want sushi so bad but what do you want to eat?” Skylar said.

“Let’s just go through drive through and have a movie night” her mother said.

“Okay, what about panda express” Skylar said.

“I could go for some Chinese” her mother said.

Skylar type in the location and drove towards the nearest one and made their order and drove back to the hotel, where they made it back to the penthouse, they ordered a movie as they went to change first. They finally both sat downplayed the movie and began eating their dinner since they have not eaten lunch yet only breakfast, they shared their plates together.
