CAMP OUT

Jacob had half a day of work so he went shopping with Skylar the others oversaw food, while Jacob and Skylar got the drinks and snacks for the small bond fire and camping gear the other’s family will be here in the evening, so they wanted to get everything ready.

“What about this pink tent for the girls and sleeping bag” Jacob said.

“Yeah, I like that” Skylar said.

By noon they finally got the camping stuff as well as the other things.

“Can we get something to eat first” Skylar said.

“Yeah, and let me guess you want Wild n Reckless, Strawberry refresher” Jacob said.

“Yes, also want some fires and chicken nuggets from McDonalds” Skylar said.

“Okay” Jacob said.

“We should get the girls something from McDonalds as well” Skylar said.

Jacob nodded his head; they got the food first then Starbuck finally the ice cream Skylar just asked for a tub and she wanted a waffle cup with triple scoop like she did the past two times and they drove back to the house.

“You want some” Skylar said.

“Yeah” Jacob said.

Skylar took a scoop out and place it near his mouth and he had some, soon Skylar’s phone rang she looked at it and answered it.

“Avery?” Skylar said.

Jacob looked at her and Skylar looked at him as he was wiggling his brows at her, Skylar wanted to laugh but bite her lip.

“Sorry, were having a camp out tonight” Skylar said.

Jacob mouth to ask him over, Skylar shook her head Jacob looked at her and Skylar rolled her eyes.

“Would you like to join us?” Skylar said.

Jacob gave her a thumbs up.

“Yeah, just come by around five” Skylar said.

Jacob was on the side cheering for her, and Skylar shook her head.

“Okay see you then” Skylar said.

Skylar hung up the phone and Jacob laughed out as Skylar chuckled beside him.

“He likes you” Jacob said.

“I don’t know” Skylar said.

“Just go for it like, you said about Ethan and me” Jacob said.

“Yeah, but you’re not pregnant” Skylar said.

“Your right about that” Jacob said.

They got back to the house and parked in the back, Robert and Greg made a small hole where they will build the fire and it was all set up, so Jacob and Skylar began to set up the tents.

“No, babes you have to put the thingy in the little holes” Jacob said.

“I am” Skylar said.

“You know what why don’t you get some water” Jacob said.

“Fine” Skylar said.

Skylar went back into the house where Gloria, Hope, and her mother were getting the food ready.

“Are your family almost here?” Skylar asked.

“Yeah, they will be landing in an hour. Robert and Greg will pick them up” Gloria said.

“Okay, I am on water break” Skylar said.

“Is it getting hot out there?” Hope asked.

“No, just need to keep hydrated” Skylar said.

Skylar grab her water bottle, and one for Jacob as she went back out to where Jacob was at and gave him a bottle.

“What time is lover boy coming?” Skylar said.

“When is your lover boy coming?” Jacob said.

“I did say five” Skylar said.

“And Ethan said seven” Jacob said.

“Well, now let’s get back to work” Skylar said.

“Fine but first lover boy is early” Jacob said.

Skylar turn and saw Avery’s truck pull up; Skylar went towards him.

“Move that ass” Jacob said.

Skylar stick her middle finger at him as she went to Avery when he got down his truck.

“Camp out?” Avery asked.

“Yeah, we finished the project, so we are celebrating” Skylar said.

“You need any help?” Avery asked.

“Yes, I have no idea what I’m doing” Skylar said.

“I brought beers and some juice; I know you can’t drink but I thought some juice might help” Avery said.

“Thanks” Skylar said.

Avery and Skylar walked back to where Jacob was at and he help Jacob set up the tents as Skylar sat on the side talking with them.

“So, I got an email from my old agency and during the fifty-year anniversary they want to do shoots for National parks” Skylar said.

“What modeling?” Avery said.

 “Yeah, but they want to do it in five years because they are going through brain-storming for now they already got the places and I have to give an answer soon” Skylar said.

“Brain-storming on what?” Jacob said.

“First off, they asked me first to be their model and when I say yes then they will begin” Skylar said.

“Well, what are you waiting for?” Jacob asked.

“You know they will ask her” Skylar said.

“Ask who?” Avery said.

“Someone that is not important” Jacob said.

“Well, whoever it is you have five years and you’ll be a different person from today then you will in five years” Avery said.

“He does have a point” Jacob said.

“So, you think I should take it?” Skylar said.

“YES!” Jacob and Avery said.

“Alright then that means I have to find an Agency in San Antonio to take me on, so I won’t forget modeling” Skylar said.

“So, what else will you be doing?” Avery asked.

“Not much information yet until I agree” Skylar said.

“Take it, I want to know” Jacob said.

“I already replied” Skylar said.

“But it does have something about the National Parks and will take five years to plan” Avery said.

“Yes” Skylar said.

Skylar’s phone rang, the two guys looked at her.

“Hello” Skylar said.

Jacob and Avery went to her, so Skylar put it on speaker.

“Skylar, I’m glad you replied to doing the shoot we will send you the information in your email and we would like to talk with your new agency and do a booking” Harvey said.

“It’s nice to hear from you as well Harvey. Have you guys already booked any other girls yet?” Skylar asked.

“Not yet, we wanted you first when we thought about this shoot, I thought of you first and now we will be looking for other girls we kind of want some new and some of the old workers and see what they say” Harvey said.

“I will look over the information and I have to find an agency first I was on break for now” Skylar said.

“That’s fine, I am just glad I got your information from the San Antonio Times since I tried your last email and phone number” Harvey said.

“Yeah, I wanted to disconnect for a year but since I have to do this I have to get to work” Skylar said.

“And congratulations on your debut in the art world, I just may need to fly out to Texas and see your work” Harvey said.

“Thank you, Harvey I’ll talk to you soon” Skylar said.

“Okay nice talking to you Skylar and bye” Harvey said.

Skylar hangs up the phone and looks at Avery and Jacob.

“I’m excited” Jacob said.

“Same” Avery said.

“Should we look at the information?” Skylar asked.

“Yes!” they both said.

They had finished setting up the tents, so they went inside the house towards Skylar’s room since her computer was there, she turns it on and loaded up.

“Okay” Skylar said.

Skylar went into her email and saw the mail from Harvey.

“Okay, so they picked about 25 for Europe and 20 in the US. The production is on hold for now because they are scouting the location then they will begin to take pictures throughout the season see when they can choose which to go with” Skylar said.

“How many models?” Jacob asked.

“They want about twenty girls” Skylar said.

“How long will it be?” Avery said.

“They haven’t said yet” Skylar said.

“What else?” Jacob asked.

“They have about ten designer’s that will be traveling to those places in different weather’s and see who will get what. Also, they want a big fashion walk in New York at the end where they we would wear the clothing with the theme in the background” Skylar said.

“Message him back for the list of girls as well as when they are starting” Jacob said.

“They are barley starting, we won’t know till in a year” Skylar said.

“So, where are these places at?” Avery said.

Skylar pulled up the list of the places the US first then later the European one.

“Skylar your guest is…. What you guys doing?” Lily said.

“Will give you guys privacy” Jacob said.

Avery and Jacob went out of the room, her mother looked at her.

“Harvey from my old agency asked me well he thought of me first when they are going to do the Fifty-year anniversary shoot of the National Parks here in the US and Europe” Skylar said.

“That’s great baby but your pregnant” her mother said.

“They are doing brain-storming for now and now getting models together they just wanted me first, it won’t start until in five years” Skylar said.

“Oh, that’s good. So, what did you decided?” her mother asked.

“I said yes” Skylar said.

“And the little one?” her mother asked.

“Baby can come and learn something before school starts” Skylar said.

“Well, it’s all up to you baby and I will support you no matter what” her mother said.

“Well, I was hoping maybe you can come along and watch the baby when I work knowing that Jacob will be working and won’t be taking time” Skylar said.

“Like I said baby I will support you but for now the guest is here and we will talk more about it later” Her mother said.

“Okay” Skylar said.

Skylar and her mother went downstairs and meet with Greg’s sister and her son David, then they meet Hope’s sister and mother, Gloria’s brother came with his wife and Robert was his mother came. They were all outside in the back the guys were cooking the mothers were sitting on the chairs talking, Skylar was with Gloria and Hope with their sister and sister-in-law talking. Gloria’s sister-in-law was pregnant, so Skylar was asking questions.

“How far along are you?” Skylar asked.

“About six months” Amy said.

Her name was Amy and Hope’s sister’s name is Brooke.

“Are you pregnant as well?” Brooke asked.

“Yeah just a few weeks along I would say a month” Skylar said.

“Here some water Sky” Avery came up to them.

“Thanks Avery” Skylar said.

Avery left as the girls looked at her.

“Your babies will look so cute together” Amy said.

“No actually Jacob is the father” Gloria said.

“I don’t get it?” Brooke said.

“What she means is Sky had drunk s*x with her best gay friend Jacob and Avery wants to date Skylar” Gloria said.

“Wait you slept with a gay guy?” Brooke said.

“We were drunk” Skylar said.

“Okay, but how gay is he?” Brooke said.

“Gay as in dating our boss Ethan” Hope said.

“Damn the hot boss? Why?” Broke said.

The girls laughed at her, Hope laughed more because she knew her sister like Ethan always wanting to go with Hope to drop her painting or other artwork off just to see him but now she was happy that somebody else told her that he is gay and just maybe she can move on.

“Well, are you going to date him” Gloria said.

“Who?” Skylar said.

“Avery duh” Hope said.

“He did ask me out, but I invited him here, and to answer your question I don’t know” Skylar said.

“How do you feel with him like alone?” Gloria said.

“We never really hanged out alone before” Skylar said.

“Not even just for a moment?” Amy said.

“Well, we do have small talks feels a bit weird because I never talked with him for in a long time but now it’s comfortable because Jacob is there at most of our talks” Skylar said.

“That…. You need to have some alone time with him” Gloria said.

“And then you will know if you both like each other” Hope said.

“I guess” Skylar said.

They were all called to eat so they went in line to get their food, the evening everybody were talking, Ethan was able to show up a few minutes before they ate so he was there as well, so the evening was enjoyable. Next, they went around the campfire they made s’mores and after the two kids went to sleep and it was only the adults that were up, the mothers were in the house where the girls got the room ready for them.

“So, Skylar has some news” Jacob said.

Everybody stops talking and looked towards Skylar, and Skylar glared at him and rolled her eyes.

“What is it?” Greg asked.

“My old agency got in contact with me” Skylar said.

“They want you to model again?” Gloria said.

Skylar nodded her head.

“What about work? You sign a contract” Ethan said.

“I’m still going to do that they just need in five years right now they are brainstorming” Skylar said.

“Brainstorming what?” Amy asked.

“They will be doing National Parks around the world and they want to see it in all seasons plus the clothes they want to use as well as the models they will choose” Avery said.

Everybody was looking at Avery as Jacob and Skylar were surprise by what he said, Avery shrugged his shoulders.

“I read the email you showed me” Avery said.

“So, what about from now to then?” Hope asked.

“I will still be doing my artwork and I would need to find a modeling agency to work with in San Antonio just so I won’t forget” Skylar said.

“As long as you can still put in work, I don’t mind” Ethan said.

They spent the next hour asking Skylar questions about the job she only told them what she got from the email, which was not many details, after they were done, they went to their tents, since Avery did not have a tent, he shared with Skylar since Jacob wanted to be alone with Ethan.

“What do you really feel about modeling?” Avery asked.

Skylar turn towards him.

“I do kind of miss it, the traveling long hours into the early morning to the late nights” Skylar said.

“Which is your memorable place?” Avery asked.

“When we did a shoot in Thailand where we got to photoshoot with an Elephant, we had to ride it into the jungle area where we had to do our shoot, it was just a rush” Skylar said.

“I think I saw that photo” Avery said.

“Oh, yeah” Skylar said.

“Yeah, you look so natural in the pictures it’s like the camera loves you” Avery said.

“Honestly, I was horrible the fist five months, my walk was ugly, I didn’t know how to use the emotions in my eyes, when I posed, I was stiff but with a lot of training and work I was able to get it done” Skylar said.

“I would like to see that someday” Avery said.

“Well, I do want to do a pregnancy photoshoot when I’m a bit bigger” Skylar said.

“Go on parenthood magazine” Avery chuckled.

Skylar chuckled as well.

“I used to see those magazines before, and I thought it was cute” Skylar said.

“Have you ever gotten in trouble during a shoot?” Avery asked.

“The first five months it was hard because like I said I didn’t know much and sometimes I would be crying and a part of me wanted to get out of there but then I would talk myself (you got this don’t give up, you wanted to do this kind of work be stronger) I would just repeat that in my head ever time I would do a shoot” Skylar said.

“What about your favorite runway walk?” Avery said.

“Would be the London fashion they always come up with the crazy maze designs at times and with steps as well, but I also hated it especially wearing dresses and heels with the steps, I almost fell once but I was lucky I stop myself” Skylar said.

“Did you take any pictures like from your own?” Avery said.

“Yeah, I have some in my computer” Skylar said.

“I would very much to see it” Avery said.

“Okay” Skylar said.

“We should get some sleep” Avery said.

“Can you run your hand through my hair, Jacob does that for me so does my mom” Skylar said.

“Sure” Avery said.

Skylar went closer to him, as Avery started running his hand through her.

“Softly like this” Skylar said.

Skylar raised hand and slowly ran her hand trough his and slowly did it and softly as well.

“Got it?” Skylar said.

Avery looked at her even the light from the fire was going low he can still see her face, Skylar looked up towards him, without thinking Avery lowered his face, Skylar can hear him swallow his saliva she looked at his neck and she his apple bob up and down. Skylar looked back at him soon his face was close to hers and she began to feel nervous her brain was saying kiss, kiss but her heart was saying stop it. Before she can decide she felt lips on her mouth, she gasps out a bit, making Avery move his head back and looked at her.

“Sorry, I wasn’t thinking” Avery said.

“It’s fine, I was just surprised” Skylar said.

“Yeah, um back to sleep” Avery chuckled.

Skylar hummed and chuckled a bit, Avery then began running his hand through her hair. Skylar was trying not to think about the kiss, but she could not help it, it was an okay kiss but then again it ended to quickly so she could not really know how she felt about it. After a while she finally fell asleep, Avery saw that she fell asleep, and he lean back he wanted to get up and take a walk but just as he was Skylar cuddle up to him. Avery stop moving and slowly put his hand under her head making her feel comfortable which made Skylar lean in closer to him, so he kissed her head and lean back, and he soon fell asleep.
