Isaac's POV
I sat up in the living room with my family. Ryan had his arms around me. My knees were pulled up to my chest. My mom had gotten me ice and it was now setting over my eye. There was already a black eye forming and my nose had finally stopped bleeding.
“We love you, Isaac.” Casper said.
“I love you guys too.”
“Are you gonna be okay?” Mom asked and I shook my head. I set my head on my knees and started crying again.
My parents knew about Oliver and I's relationship. He always slept over and stuff like that, so they were surprised when they heard us yelling.
I looked up at them. “I-I'm gonna go talk to Kade. I'll be back, I promise.”
“Isaac, maybe you should wait until tomorrow.” Mom said.
“No, I need to go tonight.” I said. I kissed Ryan's cheek and he unwrapped his arms from around me.
I set the ice on the coffee table and left the house. I walked to the quarter house and walked in. Everyone that lived there loves me, so I just walk in.
I walked through the living room where no one was at. I heard talking and laughing in the dining room, so I traveled there. I walked in and they all looked up at me.
Kade shot up and walked over to me. He put his hands on my shoulder. “What happened?”
I felt my eyes water again. He wrapped his arm over my shoulder and pulled me to his and Joey's bedroom. He closed the door as I sat on the bed. He rushed over to me. He pulled me into a hug and I cried into his shoulder.
“It's okay.” He whispered to me. He rubbed my back as I squeezed him, tightly.
The door opened and Joey, Melissa, and Cody sat next to us on the huge bed. Melissa came over and joined the hug between Kade and I.
Once I had calmed down a little, we all broke away from the hug. They all looked at me and I wiped my eyes.
“I told him.” I whispered.
Kade sighed and hugged me again.
“I'm assuming that it didn't go well.” Cody said.
“No. He told me that I had a million chances to tell him. H-he hit me and then left.”
“Oh my gosh, baby.” Melissa said, then wrapped her arm around my waist. I set my head on her shoulder and closed my eyes.
“He feels the mating bond, Isaac.” Joey said.
“No, he doesn't.”
“Yes, he does. Why do you think he as attracted to you? He doesn't feel it well enough to know that you're mates, but he feels it. He's not gonna feel the rejection that bad, but he will feel it.”
“I feel it.” I whispered.
“We're gonna talk to him.” Kade said.
“Don't even bother. It's no use.”
“It will save your life, Isaac. We will talk to him. No questions asked, okay?”
“I-I should've told him.” I said, covering my face with my hand.
“Isaac-” Kade said.
I moved out of Melissa's hold and looked at Kade.
“Go ahead.” I interrupted him.
“What?”
“Go ahead and tell me 'I told you so' because you did, Kade! Why the hell didn't I listen to you?”
“You should go home and sleep.” Cody said.
“Tell me.” I said to Kade, ignoring Cody.
“No!” He said.
“Fine, but don't talk to him. I don't deserve him. He basically told me that, so leave him and me alone. I'm done!”
I finally made it back to my house after storming out of the quarter house. My family looked up at me. I collapsed on the couch next to Ryan. He wrapped his arms around me again in a hug.
“I love you.” Ryan whispered to me.
“I love you too, Ry.”
I sighed and picked up my phone, checking the time. I kissed Ry's forehead and got off the couch.
“I'm gonna go to bed.”
They all nodded, said goodnight, then I left. I laid in bed and scrolled through my phone. I went into my pictures and scrolled through them. Basically all of them were of Oli and I. I found one from him and me at the lake. I saw another with Oli and I from a date night at the movies. We took a selfie while I was in his lap, kissing his neck.
I smashed my head into my pillow and just fell asleep.
I was woken up by someone jumping on me. I groaned and started to hit whoever it was, but not hard.
“Wake up!” Kade's high voice said.
“What do you want?” I asked.
“Get up, we're going down to the lake.” Joey said, throwing swim trunks to me.
“I don't want to.” I said, rolling over on my back to look at them.
“We don't care, get up. It's an order.” He said.
I groaned and got out of bed. I shooed them out of my room and slipped on the trunks and a black tank top. I walked with them to the lake where Tyler, Melissa, and Cody were.
“Wait, you guys didn't tell me that Isaac was coming!” Tyler said, shooting up.
“Why do we need to tell you?” Kade asked.
Tyler's eyes widened and pointed behind us. We turned around and saw Oliver standing there.
“Oliver, I didn't know he was coming.” Tyler said.
I felt my knees give out and Joey caught me. Just seeing him brought back everything that happened last night.
“I'm leaving.” I whispered, walking towards the woods.
“NO! You both don't even have to talk. We're here as a group of friends, so let's just be that. No one's leaving, okay?” Kade said.
I sighed, but walked back towards Kade. I glared at Tyler and she gave me a sympathetic look. I sat on the ground and Kade sat next to me.
“You okay?” He whispered.
“This is how it's always gonna be.”
“What do you mean?”
“We're always gonna be separated from each other. Our little friend group will be separated in two groups because of me. Because I was stupid.”
“Isaac..” He said, slinging his arm around my shoulder.
I felt tears well up in my eyes and Kade sighed, hugging me.
“Don't cry.” He whispered.
“You were gonna wait a year and a half?!”
“Because you lied to me, Isaac. You had a million chances to tell me and you never did.”
“You can go f**k yourself, Isaac!”
“Isaac?”
I held my stomach. “I feel like I'm gonna throw up.”
He helped me up and brought me behind a tree. He put his hand on my shoulder as I threw up. I heard Joey run over.
I put my hands on my knees to help me stand. I wiped my mouth and stood up.
“You okay?” Joey asked.
I nodded. I sat back on the ground, in front of the lake. The rest of them were looking at me with worried expressions, even Oliver. So he does still care.
“Look, I'm gonna go, guys.” I said to Kade and Joey.
“No, don't go, please.” Kade begged, pulling on my arm.
“I don't feel good, Kade. I'm sorry.”
I stood up as did Kade.
“You feel depressed, don't you?” He whispered into my ear.
“Yes, but I'm fine. I'll be okay. Bye, guys.” I said and ran out of the woods.
I got to my house and walked in. Ryan was sitting on the couch with the TV on.
“Hey.” I said.
“Hey, I thought you went to the lake?”
“I wasn't feeling good, so I came back.”
“Are you okay?”
“I'm fine, Ry. I promise. I'm just gonna go lay down.”
I closed my bedroom door and walked over to my mirror. I looked into it. I had a swollen black eye and my nose red and bruised at the bridge of it. I sighed and laid back onto my bed.
“Forgive me, Oli.” I whispered and fell asleep.
