It's been a few day since I've had that chat about mates with Max, and it feels as if nothing is changing. I've been working and training harder than usual just to get my mind off my mate. I hope she's alive. I hope the Moon Goddess brings her to me soon. My wolf keeps getting restless without her. I'm currently sitting on the bed in my room thinking about what I'm gonna do when I find her. I'll love her and protect her with my life, I thought to myself.
There's a knock on my door. I walk over and open the door and saw Max standing there with a strange look in his face. "I have a task for you to do." He said.
"Sure. What is it that you need me to do?" I asked.
"Theres a family of werewolves living on the outskirts of town that I need to bring into the pack. We've been having conversations about them integrating themselves into the pack for some time now. It's a father, mother and their daughter. Think you can handle that for me?"
"I can do it. When were you thinking of having them brought over?"
"That's the thing. The daughter didn't know about werewolves and it was just explained to her. She didn't believe until her parents shifted right before her eyes. She still a little skittish about shifters, so we wanted to give her a little time to process it before they moved here. So we agreed that within a week they'll move here."
"Okay, I got you. So I'll go and bring there here in a week's time. If you don't mind me asking, how old is the daughter if she's just finding out about this?" I was curious.
"She just turned 18. They said they were trying to give her a normal life." He blows out a breath.
"But this is when shifters normally change into their wolves for the first time. Why did they wait until now? Man she's gonna have a lot of questions. I just hope they explain everything to her before I go to pick them up." I sigh.
"Dont worry about it. I'm sure they've explain some of it to her. When they get here, we'll just help her to understand her new life and guide her through it. But keep it in mind that they need to be here before the next full moon as that's when shell shift for the first time."
"No worries man, they'll be here by then. I promise you that I'll get them here safe and in time."
