This has to be one the most awkward car rides of my life. At least I'm driving, so it gives me an excuse for not making conversation.
I see Emily is in a constant battle with her mobile phone, or more like the reception. I know better than anyone what that's like out here in the countryside, away from the city. Cell reception is crap, and that's why I intend to make it better and invest in a telecommunications company that will ensure that gets done.
As soon as my sister blindsided me with the job she offered Emily, the idea that she could help with this business deal popped into my head. She's British, just like the CEO of the company I'm trying to invest in, so maybe she can help persuade him to accept my offer for a 30% share of his company, instead
