Everly's POV
"Would you like to go out in the backyard where we are celebrating your brothers annaversary?" Elliot asked me. I walked with him down the long corridor, Jorge and little Ava were with us as they followed us.
I hadn't been the only one to notice the infatuation he had for the girl. Her brother was right on thier heels as he tried to get between the two of them.
"I wish you could meet my best friend, his name is Jason!" Jorge said excitedly to them allowing Adrian to get in beside them. Her mother asked if I could watch over them while she wemt to lay the younger one down for a nap.
I looked back at Elliot and nodded my head. "I think they would love to go outside." He sighed knowing I didn't really want to see my brother. Not after last night.
He walked ahead of me and picked Ava up making her squeal. The boys hit his legs and he took off with her going right for the back door. I shook my head at him and giggled quietly.
Seeing Elliot burst through the back door with Ava, I only noticed Adrian following them. I looked down at my side to see Jorge walking beside me.
"Don't you want to play?" I asked him.
"I'm protecting you! It can wait." Oh my heart please stop! That was the cutest thing anybody had ever said to me.
"Daddy said you didn't want to see me." He looked up at me and I now felt bad. Saying it to Gabriel was one thing, but he acted like I told him myself.
He looked into my eyes and that's when i noticed a small tremble in his lower lip. "Why?" He asked.
I led him over to the bench by the doors. I sat down and he decided to stand in front of me. His sad eyes almost had me blinking back tears. "I'm just really sad, Jorge!" I told him and his eyes drifted down to the floor.
"I didn't get to meet her!" He said quietly, it was like he was afraid of what he said would upset me. "Daddy said she looked like me when I was a baby." He finished.
That however had my eyes burning as tears formed. And when a tear fell from his eyes my heart shattered.
I've been so upset and angry at the wrong people. Me loosing my memories and my daughter being taken wasn't only affecting me, it hurt them too, maybe more them than me because they know who I was before this.
Jorge let out a little sob, as more tears fell from his face. My heart was offically gone, someone stole it and threw it away when he began crying. I pulled him to me and wrapped my arms around him.
"Be brave, Jorge!" I mumbled. "Daddy will bring sissy home!" I told him as a lump formed in my throat, his arms wrapped around my neck tightly. I don't think anything hurt more than seeing how upset this boy is over his sister.
He had his face in my neck while he continued to cry. After about five minutes he was settling down and so was I. "Todo va a estar bien." (Everything will be alright) I whispered more to myself than him. I wasn't sure what I told him but it fell from my mouth easily.
"te quiero mamá!" (I love you mama) he whispered tightening his arms around me more.
He pulled away after one more hug, he wiped his face with his hands. He gave me a bright smile, seems him crying out how he felt took some of the emotion he carried on his shoulders. I swiped my thumb under his eye getting the remnants of his tears.
"I'm gonna go play with, Ava!" He chirped. Jorge leaned forward and placed a tender kiss on my cheek, then got up and walked to the door.
It was then I noticed Ronnie standing by the doors with his son Liam perched on his hip. I looked away from him, I felt him sitting down beside me then felt Liam hit my arm trying to get my attention.
I looked down at the chubby boy who gave me a toothless smile. The desire to hold my own baby clouded how adorable he was, so I glanced back down the hall with a sniffle.
"I'm sorry about last night, Lee!" He murmurs and yet again my eyes brimmed with tears. "If it helps, I tried to cancel the party but I think we need this! All of us!"
"I don't see why, I don't know anybody here. I only know what I've been told and yet, I still feel like I'm being lied to about something." I told him.
My eyes locked onto someone turning down the hall then walking down it, coming down the hallway. My vision blurred momentarily before the walls seemed to transform with more pictures and statues along the wall.
Looking down at myslef, I was wearing a blue dress that looked like it was from the medieval times.
Glancing back down the hallway to see the man once again from before standing before me with a dazzling grin and his hand out. His tux hugged all the right places, along with his white shirt.
"Come my Queen, our Kingdom is ready to know we have an heir on the way!" Gracefully I placed my hand in his.
"Eve!?" I felt somebody shake my shoulder, I blinked and looked down at my shoulder only to see my clothing. I was back in my jeans and sweatshirt.
I looked to the right to see Ronnie and Liam. My eyes went down to the hand on my shoulder then followed it back up to it's owner.
His soft yet dark brown eyes seemed to captivate mine for a moment in their warmth. I looked at his brown hair, it didn't look the same and I for some reason didn't like how short it was. "Aiden?" The word slipped from me in a whisper. The only difference was his eyes, but I knew his name somehow.
He removed his hand from my shoulder. His eyes closed and I waited impatiently as he reopened them. "No, my name is, Aaron!" He whispered.
I stared at him like a crazy woman. No I knew his name, I've known it for years. Atleast I thought I did. I went over his face with my eyes then blushed at my mistake, when I realized he wasn't joking.
I now felt really embarrassed and stupid thinking he was this Aiden guy. "My mistake!" I mumbled and looked away from him.
A hand grabbed mine, I didn't look at him because I still felt like an i***t calling him the wrong name. But in my defense he looked like this Aiden person I saw so vividly a moment ago.
"Your memories are coming back fast, Eve!" The man holding my hand said with a glee of happiness rushing through him.
I looked down at my hand then up at him. He suddenly wasn't so hot anymore, I have no clue why I thought he was. He looked like Ronnie now. Just a cute guy that was family, atleast he seemed like he would treat me the way a brother would.
"I'm sorry, I only know your name and that's because you just told me." I removed my hand from his and sighed. "Who are you again?" He said his name but I wasn't paying much attention.
I didn't miss the disappoint in his features before he covered it up. "Aaron, we have known each other for years."
My head was beginning to hurt, it normally hurt when I was trying to remember things that they have told me. There was one day it got so bad that I had to shut the lights off and close the curtains.
Michael was with me when I turned everything off, but he didn't say anything. Just offered to get the doctor if I needed something. I just went to sleep until it stopped hurting.
"Then who is, Aiden?" I asked lifting my head up to look at the man that was now kneeling before me. He looked over at Ronnie, they seemed to be speaking to each other without opening their mouths.
"My twin brother. Your ex!" Aaron chewed on his lower lip as he said the last part. "He is dead!" He finally finished. His sadness hit me like a train.
It made me take in a deep breath and flinch away from him.
"I'm sorry?" I offered him, and even though he was sad he still smiled at me.
"He hurt the wrong person, so he deserved what he got." He waved his hand in the air and I just stared at him with my mouth ajar.
Yet even as nonchalant he seemed, he was sad. I couldn't imagine growing up with someone from birth and they die?
I would probably be broken.
