chapter 24
Cheyenne pov
I was sitting on the porch after a long day of training, Aura was teaching me how to fight with different kinds of weapons, i had a lot of fun, but when they train they train longer than we do. they never get tired, But she knew I was, i was still building my strength back, I took a shower dried off, then got dressed, i didn't want to eat just yet, So i decided to grab a glass of brandy and sit on the porch, i wanted to watch the sun go down, i always loved the colours it made when it did, Everything was so quiet, the only sounds I was hearing was the birds chirping and the owls talking and waiting for their meal to run by. I heard Aura walking inside the house. I didn't know what she was doing at first until I heard her talking to someone. My wolf and lycan perked up. Now what is that all about. So I decided to listen to the conversation. She was talking to Mercury about meeting them the day of the warrior Challenge. This sneaky elf was trying to sneak him inside so he could talk to me. She got a little smart with him. And I could have sworn I heard him growl. I waited until she decided to come outside. That gave me a little bit of time to think on what I wanted to say to her. I was thinking really hard. Was I ready to see my family? Was I ready to see Mercury? Thursday is just around the corner. Kathy and Rebecca were purring. I rolled my eyes.
"Alright you horny pups, calm your asses down. We don't even know if Mercury is our mate or not. We haven't even seen each other since this happened."
"Cheyenne, you do realise we can see the memories you have of him right? It's like a movie. We can watch it over and over again." I wanted to laugh but I didn't.
"Well, I hope you are having fun watching them." Just then Aura came out and sat on the porch with me. She sat there looking out in the woods until I started talking. I guess she didn't want to pressure me into talking. But instead. I opened up and told her I overheard everything. And do not talk to Mercury like that. I knew she was my protector. If it wasn't for her I would have died out there. She had healed my body. And only I could heal my mind. It had been healing. And all I want now is peace. And after I had that. I will go after Holly for what she has done. And I am sure Mercury will be going after Ace. I want to be there when he is face to face with him. I want to be there when he rips his head right off his shoulders. She understood how I felt. Apart of.me wanted to see them dead. The other half just wanted to be left alone and let them live their own lives and let karma get them. But I am their karma. And I will get them. We finally went inside, ate our dinner and talked some more about the warrior challenge. She did tell me that some wolves and lycans join the challenge but not many. We finally went to bed. I was really tired and I knew I needed sleep. I wondered what dreams will be coming to me.
Aura senka pov.
When she blasted me for talking to Mercury the way I did. I knew she was getting her old self back. I didn't take anything to heart. We talked for awhile after dinner then I went to bed. I was hoping my Aunt Selena would come so we could talk. I needed her help. But lately she hasn't come to me. I'm hoping tonight she will. I closed my eyes and just listened to the night breeze and the owls talking. A few minutes later I was sound asleep. Soon I was standing in the middle of the woods. Selena was standing in front of me with her arms crossed over her chest. She looked mad. Well what in the world did I do now?
"Child hush. You didn't do anything. It's what you were trying to do. Mercury had to find his own way to find her. You were not supposed to help. Now we have to figure something else out. Your mate's father is doing a warrior challenge thing. I think that is a good possible way to reunite them. I will need to figure out how to reverse everytime you just did."
"But Selena, I want to see my mate."
"You will on Thursday. But yeah there is a but. He will happen to just walk into your part of the land with his father. And he will find you. Just don't freak out too much. When I reverse what you had done. Everything will go back to the way it was. Just Cheyenne will be healed. I won't make her the way she was before. Things will go on. But Mercury has to find her on his own without the help of you and his kids. Is that clear?" I sighed. I didn't know I wasn't supposed to help that much. I could just follow a path so he could find her. I nodded at my aunt.
"alright. I won't interfere again.i will help but I won't interfere too much."
"Good. Now get some sleep. While I do my work reversing what you had done" then I will figure out how you will meet your mate. Don't worry about that meeting. You will meet him." We talked for a few more minutes then she left so I could get some sleep. I don't know how she is going to reverse what I had done. But I'm sure she will figure out something.
Moon goddess pov.
I knew Aura well enough that I knew she was going to do this the easy way. But I didn't want her to do this the easy way. I needed to know what I did was a mistake. And it was. Cheyenne almost got killed because of Ace and Holly. They almost beat her to death. If Aura didn't show up on time she would have died. I'm glad that I put that vision in her mother Pandora's head. So she was able to see. Aura was ready. I knew she was. The higher ups were already mad that I screwed up on the pairing if I didn't make this right. They will be put back to rest. And I have been here for many many many years. I have to make this right. And I know just how to do it. I will make sure that Alpha got his Arena up and going in a few weeks. And then after that I will have him get all the packs involved. Everything will be settled. And everything will be right again
But for right now. I have to reverse a few things. I started waving my right hand. Making Mercury and a few others forget what had been happening, they are back in Isaiah's pack talking to the young boy that saw Ace and Holly beating Cheyenne. I left it at that. No one will remember anything up to this point. I was satisfied. So I stopped there and left to go see what other things I needed to do. I just hope Aura won't mess up this time. I knew she wanted to meet her mate. So I had a plan ready. Hopefully it will work out for everyone.
