Chapter 23

Holly pov

When I walked into the house. I was set on talking to Ace about forming a pack of our own. We can form it by rogues. And then we can start a plan to get Mercury. But he came running up the stairs, threw me on the bed and had his way. Damn I loved it when he did this. When we were done. I laid on my side looking at him. He had his arms behind his head and he was looking up at the ceiling. So I thought well let's get this over with. He turned to look at me.

"What's on your mind?"

"Ace I was thinking.how about we form a pack of our own. We have the money. And we can form it by rogues. We have the land. Once we are strong then we go after Mercury. If it's just the two of us. I think we will both end up dead. But if we have a pack. We could use them to go after Mercury." I knew he was thinking hard. He pulled me close and my head was laying on his chest now as he played with my hair.

"You know that does sound like a plan. I like it. But how are we going to get rogues to join the pack?"

"Easy, just leave it to me. I've already talked to a few and they are willing to join. But I needed to talk to you first." I watched him form a smile from ear to ear.

"I like it when you take charge. Just make some phone calls. We already have this abandoned pack house and other houses. We will change our names and pick a name for the pack. I will call the elders let them know I am a new alpha and I am forming a pack. I'll call myself Alpha Luke. You will call yourself Luna Love. And together we will take over the werewolf world." my eyes lit up. I'm glad he liked the plan. I liked Luna love. Now all I need to do is make a few phone calls and they will start coming. I was never allowed to do anything. Just sit around and do what he said to do. Yeah I knew that was a lie. He let me do what I wanted to do. Go wherever I want to go. This might be just what I needed is a new pack to get stronger. I'll even train with them. I need to get strong as well. If Mercury gets another mate. I am sure she is going to want to try and rip my head right off. So I need to get stronger and learn how to throw a punch. We got up from bed, took our showers and began to make calls. Ace had called the elders and told them about the new pack and what his name was. Alpha Luke. They told him they would be coming to see it in a week or two. And they approved of the name The black sky pack. I bought hair dye for his hair and we had to trim his beard up to make it look like a goatee. He looked so different now. He had long red hair that he wore up in a man bun. He got more tattoos to cover the one up on his arm. He lost some weight but made it up with more muscle. I did the same with my hair. But I dyed it pink to make sure it was supposed to be that colour. Like it grew that way. I would have to make sure I kept up with it. I also got tattoos and that s**t hurt. But I sucked it up and let them finish it. During the week more people came to join the pack. We knew they were rogues that wanted a home. So we gave them a home. They could come and go as they please. We started training so we could grow stronger. I think in a few months we will be ready to go after Mercury. It will be the end of days with him. He thinks he can push anyone around and get away with it. He's not so big and bad. I remember when the witch had him under his spell. It took me to make him understand I was his real mate. But once Cheyenne came back. Everything was different: we had to have family dinners on the weekends and we had to have her over because of the kids. Matter of fact. I would love to grab one of them torture them and have them beg for me to kill them. That would be so much fun. I know Mercury and the others would feel it all. I would laugh in his face while I'm twisting his head right off. Time will tell I will have what I want.

For a few days now I kept thinking did I even set a date to meet up. I knew the warrior challenge was on a Thursday. I will need to let Mercury know. But something tells me he will be there waiting for me to show up. So I knew I had to call him to let him know. I made the phone call letting him know I will be by that tree Thursday. That way he won't be kept waiting. He agreed I didn't set a date and he was glad that I called him. He asked how Cheyenne was doing? I told him she was stronger and getting better. The swelling was gone and the bruises were too. He asked how bad she was. I couldn't tell him. The anger from him would be too much for me to handle. And I will know that Cheyenne would feel his anger.

"Mercury. You will need to ask her. She was pretty bad off when I found her. She had begged for me to let her die. They just left her there Mercury. That's all I can tell you. When you finally get to talk to her. Let her tell you. She will know how to explain what happened.,

"Aura if it was that bad that you won't tell me. And if she really did beg for you to let her die. Then I probably already knew how bad it was. There we a young boy that saw it all and he had told me what they had done to her. Just say once these sons of a bitches are found. I will kill them. I won't ask questions. I Just going to kill them. If they wanted to be together so damn badly. They could have just rejected instead they tried to kill her. And then ran off thinking we wouldn't find out. Then Ace called Brcye the other saying that Cheyenne wouldn't answer any of his calls. He was thinking that Bryce was going to believe him. But he already knew everything that is going on that's going on. He wants to see his mother Aura. All the kids do. They want their mother back and I am going to do my damest to bring her back with us. So we can look for them together and destroy them. I should have been with her all along. And nothing will stop me from getting my Mafia queen back in my arms." I sighed as I listened to him. Then I spoke in a manner that I should have never done. But I had to so I could make it clear to him.

"I understand Mercury. But I'm going to make this clear. If she does not want to go back with you. That will be her final decision. I am her protector and she will never be harmed like that again" I heard him growl over the phone. I felt his anger within him. I knew I went over the line. But I had to. We said our goodbyes. And told him I would meet him Thursday afternoon." he said that is fine. And he and the kids with my mate will see me then. I clicked on the end button. Put the phone down. Then I went outside. I found Cheyenne on the porch sitting in one of the chairs. I sat beside her and she looked like she was in deep thought. Like she was thinking about something. I knew something was up. But I didn't say a word until she was ready to talk. After a few minutes she sighed. Then looked over at me.

"Aura. I know what you've been up to. I have lycan and werewolf ears remember. I know you're meeting Mercury on the day of the warrior challenge. It's fine. And I will talk to him. But don't talk to him like that. All he wants to do is make sure that I'm okay. He's right we should have been together all along. But we were trying to make it right with our mates. I don't mean to talk like this to you. But I'm not sure if I really want to see him right now. I'll figure it out when the day comes. But until then I'm going to train and get Kathy and Rebecca stronger. So that will make me stronger. I know you're trying to look after me. And I thank you for that. If it wasn't for you. I would have died out there.you healed me when I didn't want to be healed. You are my healer and protector and my best friend. Thank you Aura. She reached over and hugged me. I wasn't used to being hugged. I wasn't used to any kind of affection like this. But I liked it. Maybe I will hug my mother and father. And see how they act toward it. Could be fun. We sat outside for a few more minutes then went inside. Today has been a long day.
