05: Th Truth

1035 Words
The next day came, Lizzy being moody and Nathan anxiously waiting for the guard he had sent to on the matter of the rogues from the kings pack. He would surely have them all killed if what the so called last descendant is lies, he hates lies and will stop at nothing to bring down a liar. The door creaked ajar, revealing his beta holding a blue print of the new buildings he had ordered for. The pack house was getting smaller day by day so they need to expand it more to accommodate more than enough. “The guard you sent is back and is at the pack hospital going through some check ups, plus this is the final blueprints to the house. The builders will set to work by tomorrow.” Dylan informed keeping a straight face. He wondered when Dylan will be free with him like they were when they’re young. He doesn’t even blame anyone except his father, if he had allowed him to mingle with his friends, then he won’t have been lonely now. “What do you think about the buildings or we should add more blocks?” Nathan asked, prolonging the meeting. He would do anything to have his friends back, anything that it will takes him. Dylan eyed the room before his eyes fell on the arm rest chair. “Well, I believe we should add more blocks because many innocent people are attacked and when they become rogues, we tend to help some of them that are willing to stay here with us. It is nice to know you have a home in a place where no one knows you.” Dylan advised. He nodded his head, he really like the idea. He knows he will surely have to accommodate some of the kings pack in his possession if they are willing to stay. “Thank you Dylan. This is really a very nice idea. I need you to get me the designer, I believe he has some changes to make.” With that, Nathan passed him the now folded blueprints. Dylan majestically existed the room, carrying a whole aura behind him. He doesn’t care if he was a beta, he believes betas to the Alpha are also like Alphas. Nathan sat there in his work shop thinking about how things where going for him, how his life almost turned upside down in a night. He had always imagined what would have happened if he had failed the test with the trap monsters, he would have been dead by then and his parents would have been depressed. Not to even talk of his foster sister, she will be forced to take the tittle even if she was yet to find a mate and also not capable of being a woman Alpha, not that he is looking down at her because she is lady or something, but he had one belief always, a lady is meant to be kept safe at home or anywhere she is.  A lady deserves the best care she would get from the opposite gender and that is what he is trying to show out. He would make sure he kills whoever disrespect a lady.  He hates that more than anything in his life and he will stop at nothing to see woman gets the justices they deserve in their lives.  A gentle knock on the door brought him out of his reveries, sitting down firmly on the chair, he muttered a come in to who so ever was at the door. The spy or rather the guard he sent to investigate about the kings pack entered. He was one of the most trusted guards in the pack, nobody comes close to him when it comes to spy and guard. “Sir, I have found out more to what you asked me of, the kings pack was indeed raded and as a result of that, they lost both the Alpha and the Luna. The girl is truly the last descendants of the kings pack and also she is meant to carry on the line, if she dies then the line ends with her.” The guard informed, taking a deep breath after.  “Thank you so much Michael and I will make sure the rogues are safe. Now I want you to help me pass this message to the beta, that the kings pack are to be given a block to live in for main time before we figure something out and also the Luna should be brought to me when she has rested.” Nathan ordered before dismissing the guard. Indeed the Luna of the kings pack is very attractive and also beautiful but it seems like she is yet to find her mate. Or maybe she did have a mate. Maybe he will use her as a distraction to get away from his foster sister? Maybe she will be of help to him in his denial? Or maybe she might the mate his been looking for. Without muttering anything more, he left the office and headed inside the house. He walked his way towards the kitchen where he knew he would likely meet his mother there or maybe see his foster sister. And he was right. He met his mother mixing some flour into a bowl while the kitchen maid holds a kettle of boiling hot water. “Be careful mother.” He warned upon seeing the maid tilting the kettle. “Oh my son, I was going to check on you after this. How are you?” She questioned in a motherly tone and Nathan felt his heart at rest. That’s what he always need, his mother’s concern. “Fine mother. Things are going according and everything is perfect. The rogues happened to be attacked and I have ordered for them to be given a block and food to depend on before we decide on what to do with them.” He told her. Since the day he took in the Alpha tittle, he always make sure to tell his mother about the decision is about to make it made already. With her blessing, he would live forever and more.
