After making to solve the problem about the attack in the pack, he made sure to return the treatise he’d signed back to the neighboring pack together with guards they had requested.
Aliyah had requested to see him, he wondered why but he will only find out when he meets her. Today he had promised Lizzy to spend the day with her, like they always do everyday, they visits places.
Today he is thinking about telling her he couldn’t go spend time with her, he has a lot to cover and it will take much of his time.
His time means a lot to him now, he values it more than anything to him. He has now a lot of responsibility to cover up.
“Hey Nathan, are you ready for today?” Lizzy asked forcing her head into the office smiling.
“Uhmm, Lizzy come in. I was going to look for you because I have something to tell you.” He pinched the bridge of his nose, motioning her to come in.
She smiled before entering the office. She wore a black armless gown that was in an A shape, until the rest of gowns, this one brought out her beauty more.
“I am sorry but I won’t be available to take you out today. I have a lot to cover.” He said, watching her face drop.
“Oh right, you are an Alpha now and some Alphas don’t have time for family, no scratch that you don’t have time to hang out with me anymore.” She snarled, leaving the office.
He watched her retreating figure as he sighed. He never wished for that to happen, he didn’t do to it to hurt her feelings but either way he will have to make it up to her, right after his meeting with Aliyah.
He had summoned for her already and was expecting her at anything soon. The faster they resolve the issue she has at hand, the better it will be for the both packs.
Just as he was thinking about her, she ambled instead the office with a smile on her face, her face was bright just like every other day but the happiness it held was more than that.
“Hello Alpha Nathan. Thank you for agreeing to meet with me.” She thanked him before offering herself a seat.
She had earlier begged Dylan to organize a meeting with him for her, no matter what, she wants to see him. As what she has to tell him is very important and also a great help to the both of them and their packs.
Dylan agreed and promised to do as she had asked him because it involves his pack, his parents and most importantly his home. He would do anything to protect it from the enemies and any harm that will come the way of the pack.
“Actually I was less busy and when he said you had something important that might help the both of us, I could not help but to get eager to know what it is.” He replied, offering her a jell beanie.
Jell Beanies are his favorite, his grandmother always makes it when he was young. He never shares them with anyone, even when she died, it was the last he holds of her.
He made sure his mother knew how to perfectly make the type of jell beanie his nana used to make for him. The Luna would make it every week and store it in a jar before she send it to both his office and his room.
“Thank you.” She munched on one and she couldn’t deny the fact that her taste bud wants more of them.
“Now back to the plan. I was thinking, what if we merge our packs together. It will make us stronger and more powerful to defeat the evil packs and call on victory.” She informed.
“Okay. So what is the main plan to achieve that? Or should I say what way are we going to convince the pack members to become one? It is not easy as you think, you know.” He uttered.
She slowly smirked. “ that was why I came up with this plan, if you marry me then we will have a combined pack since I don’t have a pack village to lead my people. And I have already spoken to my people about it or rather I told them that we are in love and would like get married at anytime of the season.” She confessed.
Nathan couldn’t believe what he was hearing, the lady sitting in front of him practically proposed to him. She wants to marry him just to extend their treatises.
“Oh, we don’t have to be in love. We are doing this for our people and beside I don’t mind being in an open marriage.” She added.
Of course Nathan knew what it means by to be in an open marriage, but that is not what he wants or wished for. He wants to have a happy family, he wants to be with someone who will love him for who he was before he became an Alpha not for treatise.
But what she said made sense, he is at their receiving ends because his pack will grow more and more. He would have no worries about the enemies when they are trained and also he will be among the Alphas that has the biggest pack members. It is a dream becomes reality for him but he won’t show her how happy he is with the treatise, he will make her wait before he gives an answer.
“Yes Luna Aliyah, I understand your point but as of now, I have no answers to your plan. I believe I need time to go over it and get back to you.” He informed her picking a pen to sign the blue prints of the new guard areas he asked to be built for him.
He has plans of making his pack big and with this her plan, every thing will be more easier for him.
