CHAPTER 7

LILY'S POV

My instincts were right all along. It turns out that Hannah is just a sweet soul. I am sure that she was being hard on me as a way of protecting herself.

It turns out that she was soft spoken. She really wanted to get out of this place.

As far as I wanted her to he by myside, I couldn't convince her to stay, she needed to go out there.

As for me, I have nothing to say about the outside world because I have never been there. I don't know how it feels like. I have never been out of the orphanage. The first memory of me when I was very young is being here with Sister Mercy at the orphanage.

Anyway, I hoped that I would be out soon through Sister Mercy's adoption to the Billionaires. I cannot afford to stay here at the orphanage till I die. I need to have a taste of the outside world. Maybe with Hannah's help the two of us can win Sister Mercy's heart.

"Are you sure about this?" Hannah asked me as we headed to Sister Mercy's office. I was taking her there so that she could apologise for being rude to her earlier.

"Yes, remember the bigger goal and that is getting out of this place. Don't feel intimidated. She might insult you but please put yourself together. Don't be offended," I told her and she blew several breaths before pouting her lips.

Wow, she is so very pretty. I can't take my eyes off her.

"Okay," She nodded before we knocked on Sister Mercy's office.

"You two, what do you want, here? Has she wronged you , what's your name again?" Sister Mercy turned to me and I was offended. Does it mean that she barely knows my name? This is impossible. I have always been quiet but I didn't think that it was one of the things preventing me from going to the outside world. Maybe if she knew my name I would be chilling with a Billionaire as we speak. If Sister Mercy doesn't remember my name then I have been existing silently.

"My name is Lily. No, she has not wronged me. She is here to apologise," I stated and sister Mercy arched her eyebrows up in confusion.

Hannah had folded her fist out of anger but I had to give her a sign so that she could focus on the bigger goal. She needs the sister so she has to do what she says.

"Is that true Hannah?" The sister turned to Hannah.

"Yes sister," She nodded severally and I silently gave her a thumbs up. She was doing great. Wow, she was going to make a great actor. Her pretence is on another level.

"Good, I see that you are coming around.Its not too late. You can end up being not favourite," The sister said with her nasty smile playing on her lips.

"Really?" Hannah jumped up and down with excitement.

"Yes dear. I am glad that you came around. Good job Lily. I will see you girls around, I have a Billionaire to talk to," She said and I threw Hannah a knowing glare before we both walked out feeling excited.

"Wow, your plan is really working," Hanna was impressed.

"I am glad that you liked it. " I said. Seeing her happy because of me melted my heart. For the first time, she smiled so perfectly and I fell in love with her sweet smile instantly.

"So what do we do next?" She asked, looking all excited and this excited me too since I wanted to spend all my time with her by my side.

For the next couple of days, we were basically inseparable. We went for meals together, we hung out together, we did laundry together. We spent so many tights together, just talking...

The more we spent time together. The deeper I fell in love with her. I couldn't sleep without dreaming of her.
